1Foliar δ^(13)C and δ^(15)N values of C_3 plants in the Ethiopia Rift Valley and their environmental controls显示文摘The foliar C and N stable isotopic compositions(δ 13C and δ 15N) and the relationships between these compositions and environmental factors of C3 plants in the Ethiopia Rift Valley were investigated. There were three distribution patterns for foliar δ 13C with mean values of ?26.7‰±0.4‰,?29.7‰± 0.6‰,and ?26.9‰± 1.2‰ in cold-moist,temperate-moist,and arid-hot environments,respectively. The δ 15N values ranged from ?1.4‰± 1.7‰ to 14.3‰± 0.1‰,with higher values under arid-hot conditions and the lowest values in plants growing at higher altitudes under cold-moist conditions. A strong negative relationship between mean annual precipitation and δ 15N explained more than half of the observed variation in the δ 15N values(r2 = 0.54,P < 0.001);a modest positive relationship was also found between δ 15N and tem-perature(r2 = 0.32,P < 0.01). A weakly positive relationship existed between δ 13C and temperature,and changes in δ 13C values with precipitation and altitude followed quadratic curves. 2Study of the tolerance of Hippochaete ramosissimum to Cu stress显示文摘We investigated the tolerance of Hippochaete ramosissimum and the changes in physiological metabolism following exposure to copper using pot experiments and analyzing plant physiology and biochemistry. The results showed that Cu tolerance in Hippochaete ramosissimum varied significantly between different populations; the tolerance of plants living in Cu polluted areas for extended periods of time exceeded that of plants living in unpolluted areas.SOD and POD activities in highly Cu tolerant plants increased noticeably following exposure to Cu. This indicates that maintaining and increasing the two kinds of protective enzyme activities are the primary foundations of plant tolerance. However, no change in CAT activity was demonstrated following Cu exposure. 3Arctic sea ice bordering on the North Atlantic and inter-annual climate variations显示文摘Variations of winter Arctic sea ice bordering on the North Atlantic are closely related to climate variations in the same region. When winter North Atlantic Oscillation (NAO) index is positive (negative) anomaly phase, Icelandic Low is obviously deepened and shifts northwards (southwards). Simultaneously, the Subtropical High over the North Atlantic is also intensified, and moves northwards (southwards). Those anomalies strengthen (weaken) westerly between Icelandic Low and the Subtropical High, and further result in positive (negative) sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies in the mid-latitude of the North Atlantic, and increase (decrease) the warm water transportation from the mid-latitude to the Barents Sea, which causes positive (negative) mixed-layer water temperature anomalies in the south part of the Barents Sea. 5Effect of strong carbide forming elements in hardfacing weld metal显示文摘To achieve high carbon hard-facing weld metals with both high hardness and crack resistance, strong carbide forming elements Ti, Nb and V were alloyed into the weld metals, and their effect on the formation of carbides and the matrix microstructure were studied. Electron Probe Microanalysis (EPMA), Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy(EDS) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) were adopted to investigate the microstructure, then thermodynamics of the formation of carbides was calculated and their effect on the matrix was further discussed. It is revealed that Nb, Ti and V influence strongly the distribution and existing state of carbon, inducing precipitation of carbides accompanying with the depletion of carbon in matrix. But when only V are alloyed as carbide forming element, the carbides are scarce and distributed along grain boundaries, and the hard-facing alloy is too hard, while the using of only Nb or Ti could not reinforce the weld metals effectively. 6Simultaneous Localization and Mapping Technology Based on Project Tango显示文摘Aiming at the problem of system error and noise in simultaneous localization and mapping(SLAM) technology, we propose a calibration model based on Project Tango device and a loop closure detection algorithm based on visual vocabulary with memory management. The graph optimization is also combined to achieve a running application. First, the color image and depth information of the environment are collected to establish the calibration model of system error and noise. Second, with constraint condition provided by loop closure detection algorithm, speed up robust feature is calculated and matched. Finally, the motion pose model is solved, and the optimal scene model is determined by graph optimization method. This method is compared with Open Constructor for reconstruction on several experimental scenarios. The results show the number of model's points and faces are larger than Open Constructor's, and the scanning time is less than Open Constructor's. 9GCN-LSTM spatiotemporal-network-based method for post-disturbance frequency prediction of power systems显示文摘Owing to the expansion of the grid interconnection scale,the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of the frequency response of power systems after the occurrence of disturbances have become increasingly important.These characteristics can provide effective support in coordinated security control.However,traditional model-based frequencyprediction methods cannot satisfactorily meet the requirements of online applications owing to the long calculation time and accurate power-system models.Therefore,this study presents a rolling frequency-prediction model based on a graph convolutional network(GCN)and a long short-term memory(LSTM)spatiotemporal network and named as STGCN-LSTM.In the proposed method,the measurement data from phasor measurement units after the occurrence of disturbances are used to construct the spatiotemporal input.An improved GCN embedded with topology information is used to extract the spatial features,while the LSTM network is used to extract the temporal features.The spatiotemporal-network-regression model is further trained,and asynchronous-frequency-sequence prediction is realized by utilizing the rolling update of measurement information.The proposed spatiotemporal-network-based prediction model can achieve accurate frequency prediction by considering the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of the frequency response.The noise immunity and robustness of the proposed method are verified on the IEEE 39-bus and IEEE 118-bus systems.Dengyi Huang Hao Liu Tianshu Bi Qixun Yang 2022Global Energy Interconnection2022,5,1:1
