1A novel colloidal gold immunochromatography assay strip for the diagnosis of schistosomiasis japonica in domestic animals显示文摘Background:Schistosomiasis remains a major public health concern in China and an epidemiological survey has revealed that schistosome-infected bovines and goats are the main transmission sources for the disease.Therefore,development of a sensitive technique for the diagnosis of schistosomiasis in domestic animals is necessary.Method:A novel colloidal gold immunochromatography assay(GICA)strip was developed for detecting Schistosoma japonicum in domestic animals.The colloidal gold was conjugated with recombinant streptococcal protein G(rSPG).As the test and control lines,the schistosome soluble egg antigen and rSPG,respectively,were blotted on nitrocellulose membrane.Results:The lowest detectable serum dilution was 1∶640 for schistosome-infected buffaloes.The cross-reaction rate of GICA was 14.29%with Paramphistomum sp.in buffaloes,16.67%with Haemonchus sp.in goats,and 33.33%with Orientobilharzia sp.in goats.These results were slightly lower and similar to those obtained through ELISA.Moreover,the strips for detecting S.japonicum in mice,rabbits,buffaloes,and goats showed high sensitivity(100.00%,100.00%,100.00%,and 100.00%,respectively)and specificity(100.00%,100.00%,94.23%,and 88.64%,respectively).And the sensitivity or specificity of the GICA strips did not present any significant differences after storage for 12 months at room temperature.When compared with ELISA,the GICA strips exhibited similar sensitivity and specificity in the diagnosis of schistosomiasis in mice,rabbits,buffaloes,and goats.Besides,only 5μl of serum are required for the test and the detection can be completed within 5 min.Conclusion:This study is the first to develop a GICA strip using gold-rSPG conjugate for the diagnosing of schistosomiasis in domestic animals,and preliminary results showed that the developed strip may be suitable for large-scale screening of schistosomiasis in endemic areas.Rui Xu Jintao Feng Yang Hong Chao Lv Dengyun Zhao Jiaojiao Lin Ke Lu Hao Li Jinming Liu Xiaodan Cao Tao Wang Jinli Zai Zhaozhe Wang Bingguang Jia Qian Han Chuangang Zhu 2017Infectious Diseases of Poverty2017,6,1:12
2Enhanced aromatic selectivity by the sheet-like ZSM-5 in syngas conversion显示文摘Aromatics are important basic chemicals. However, direct conversion of syngas via the conventional Fischer-Tropsch synthesis produces little aromatics. We presented herein that a bifunctional composite of ZSM-5 in combination with Zn Cr Oxcatalyzes syngas conversion to aromatics. Particularly, ZSM-5 crystals with a sheet-like morphology can enhance significantly the aromatization activity. The lower length ratio of the b/a axes of the crystals, the more aromatics form but without influencing the selectivity of small molecules such as CH4 and C2–C4. 3Selective conversion of syngas to propane over ZnCrO_x-SSZ-39 OX-ZEO catalysts显示文摘Oxide-Zeolite(OX-ZEO) bifunctional catalyst design concept has been exemplified in several processes to direct conversion syngas to value-added chemicals and fuels such as mixed light olefins, ethylene, aromatics and gasoline.Herein we demonstrate that the product can be steered toward liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) with a selectivity up to 89% in hydrocarbons especially propane selectivity reaching 80% at CO conversion of 63% using ZnCrOx-H-SSZ-39 catalyst.Interestingly, the quantity of the acid sites of SSZ-39 does not influence obviously the hydrocarbon distribution but the strength is crucial for selective formation of propane.This finding provides an alternative route of LPG synthesis from a variety of carbon resources via syngas.Gen Li Feng Jiao Dengyun Miao Yong Wang Xiulian Pan Toshiyuki Yokoi Xiangju Meng Feng-Shou Xiao Andrei-Nicolae Parvulescu Ulrich Müller Xinhe Bao 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,9:6
4CH_4 and N_2O emissions from double-rice cropping system as affected by Chinese milk vetch and straw incorporation in southern China显示文摘Chinese milk vetch(CMV) and rice straw(RS)were incorporated into soil to substitute for synthetic N fertilizers and to maintain soil fertility. However, little is known about the integrated impacts of CMV and RS incorporation on CH_4 and N_2O emissions in double-rice cropping systems in southern China. A field experiment was conducted to estimate the integrated impacts of CMV and RS incorporation in the early-and late-rice seasons on CH_4 and N_2O emissions. All treatments received uniform N inputs, 6%–37% of which was replaced by CMV and RS crop residue. CMV and/or RS incorporation produced equivalent or slightly more grain yield, while reducing N2 O emissions by 3%–43%. However, both CMV and RS incorporation increased CH_4 emissions. Annual CH_4 emissions ranged from 321 to 614 kg·hm^(–2)from CMV and RS amendment treatments, which were 1.5–2.9 times higher than that from synthetic N. Compared with single synthetic N fertilizer, incorporation of CMV and/or RS increased GWP and yield-scaled GWP by 45%–164% and45%–153%, respectively. Our results demonstrate CMV and RS amendments replacing N fertilizer, maintained stable yield, mitigated N_2O emission, but enhanced CH_4 emission. 7Transient characteristics verification method for DC transformer used in flexible HVDC system显示文摘Previous studies have proposed higher requirements for the transient characteristics of a DC transformer used in a flexible high-voltage direct current(HVDC) system to achieve faster sampling speed and meet wider bandwidth requirements of the control and protection signal, and to eventually suppress the large transient fault current. In this study, a transient characteristics verification method is proposed for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer used in a flexible HVDC system based on resampling technology and LabVIEW measurement technology after analyzing the key technology for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer. 8The Interpretation of Seismogenic Fault of the Maduo Mw 7.3Earthquake,Qinghai Based on Remote Sensing Images——A Branch of the East Kunlun Fault System显示文摘On May 22,2021,a Mw 7.3 earthquake occurred in Maduo County,Qinghai Province with the epicenter of 34.59°N,98.34°E.The distribution of aftershocks and surface ruptures suggested that the seismogenic structure might be the Jiangcuo fault(JF),~70 km south of East Kunlun fault(EKLF).Due to the high altitude and sparse human habitats,there are very few researches on the Jiangcuo fault,which makes us know little about the deformation features and even the geometry of Jiangcuo fault.In this study,we used the high-resolution pre-earthquake satellite images to interpret the spatial distribution and geometry of the Jiangcuo fault.Our results show that the Jiangcuo fault strikes nearly east,extending 180-km-long from Eling Lake to east of Changmahe Town.Based on the geometric features,the Jiangcuo fault could be divided into three segments characterized as the linear structures,fault valleys,scarps and systematic offset of channels.The boundary between Bayan Har Block and Qaidam Block is presented as a wide deformation zone named of Kunlun belt that is composed of East Kunlun fault and several branch faults around Anemaqen Mountain.Geometric analysis and deep lithosphere structure around Maduo County suggest that the Jiangcuo fault should be one of branch of East Kunlun fault at south,where the Kunlun fault developed as a giant flower structure.In addition,the seismic hazards potential of Jiangcuo fault should be given enough attention in the future,because west of the Jiangcuo fault,there is a rupture gap between the co-seismic surface ruptures of the 2001 Kunlun,2021 Maduo and 1937 Huashixia Earthquakes.Guanghao Ha Jinrui Liu Zhikun Ren Xiaoxiao Zhu Guodong Bao Dengyun Wu Zhiliang Zhang 2022Journal of Earth Science2022,33,4:1

12Application of Ultrasonic Motor to Control of Moment Gyroscope Gimbal Servo System显示文摘Attitude control system is one of the most important subsystems in a spacecraft.As a key actuator,the control moment gyroscope(CMG)mainly determines the performance of attitude control system.Whereas,the control accuracy and output torque smoothness of the CMG depends more on its gimbal servo system.Considering the constraints of size,mass and power consumption for a small satellite,here,a mini-CMG is designed,in which the gimbal servo system is driven by an ultrasonic motor.The good performances of the CMG are obtained by both the ultrasonic motor and the rotary inductosyn.The direct drive of gimbal improves its dynamic performance,with the output bandwidth above 20 Hz.The angular and speed closed-loop control obtains the 0.02°/s gimbal rate,and the output torque resolution better than 2×10^(-3) N·m.The ultrasonic motor provides 1.0N·m self-lock torque during power-off,with 12arc-second position accuracy.Wu Jintao Pan Song Zhao Lei Wu Dengyun Zhang Jiyang 2017Transactions of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics2017,34,1:1

15Biophotonic probes for bio-detection and imaging显示文摘The rapid development of biophotonics and biomedical sciences makes a high demand on photonic structures to be interfaced with biological systems that are capable of manipulating light at small scales for sensitive detection of biological signals and precise imaging of cellular structures.However,conventional photonic structures based on artificial materials(either inorganic or toxic organic)inevitably show incompatibility and invasiveness when interfacing with biological systems.The design of biophotonic probes from the abundant natural materials,particularly biological entities such as virus,cells and tissues,with the capability of multifunctional light manipulation at target sites greatly increases the biocompatibility and minimizes the invasiveness to biological microenvironment.In this review,advances in biophotonic probes for bio-detection and imaging are reviewed.We emphatically and systematically describe biological entities-based photonic probes that offer appropriate optical properties,biocompatibility,and biodegradability with different optical functions from light generation,to light transportation and light modulation.Three representative biophotonic probes,i.e.,biological lasers,cell-based biophotonic waveguides and biomicrolenses,are reviewed with applications for bio-detection and imaging.Finally,perspectives on future opportunities and potential improvements of biophotonic probes are also provided.Ting Pan Dengyun Lu Hongbao Xin Baojun Li 2021Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,7:0

18minimal genome design to maximally guarantee fertile inter-subspecific hybrid rice显示文摘Hybrid rice has made considerable contributions to achieve the ambitious goal of food security for the world's population.Hybrid rice from indica/xian and japonica/geng subspecies shows much higher heter-osis and is thereby an important innovation in promoting rice production in the next decade.However,such inter-subspecific hybrid rice has long suffered from serious hybrid sterility,which is a major challenge that needs to be addressed.In this study,we performed a genome design strategy to produce fertile inter-subspecific hybrid by creation of wide compatibility varieties that are able to overcome hybrid sterility.Based on combined genetic analyses in two indica-japonica crosses,we determined that four hybrid ste-rility loci,S5,f5,pf12 and Sc,are the major QTLs controlling inter-subspecific hybrid sterility and thus the minimal targets that can be manipulated for breeding sub-specific hybrid rice.We then cloned the pf12 lo-cus,one of the most effective loci for hybrid male sterility,by map-based cloning,and showed that artificial disruption of pf12A gene at this locus could successfully rescue hybrid fertility.We further dissected the genetic basis of wide compatibility using three pairwise crosses from a wide-compatibility variety Dular and representative indica and japonica varieties.On this basis,we constructed and assembled different combinations of naturally compatible alleles of four loci,S5,Sc,pf12,and f5,and found that the improved lines could fully recover pollen and embryo sac fertility in test-crossed F,s,thereby completely fulfilling the demands of inter-subspecific hybrid spikelet fertility in agricultural production.This breeding scheme would facilitate redesign of future inter-subspecific hybrid rice with a higher yield potential.Penghui Zhou Zhengji Wang Xingchen Zhu Yao Tang Liang Ye Huihui Yu Yating Li Ningke Zhang Ting Liu Tian Wang Yuying Wu Dengyun Cao Yuan Chen Xu Li Qinglu Zhang Jinghua Xiao Sibin Yu Qifa Zhang Jiaming Mi Yidan Ouyang 2023Molecular Plant2023,16,4:0

20Light-controlled soft bio-microrobot显示文摘Micro/nanorobots hold exciting prospects for biomedical and even clinical applications due to their small size and high controllability.However,it is still a big challenge to maneuver micro/nanorobots into narrow spaces with high deformability and adaptability to perform complicated biomedical tasks.Here,we report a light-controlled soft bio-microrobots(called“Ebot”)based on Euglena gracilis that are capable of performing multiple tasks in narrow microenvironments including intestinal mucosa with high controllability,deformability and adaptability.The motion of the Ebot can be precisely navigated via light-controlled polygonal flagellum beating.Moreover,the Ebot shows highly controlled deformability with different light illumination duration,which allows it to pass through narrow and curved microchannels with high adaptability.With these features,Ebots are able to execute multiple tasks,such as targeted drug delivery,selective removal of diseased cells in intestinal mucosa,as well as photodynamic therapy.This light-controlled Ebot provides a new bio-microrobotic tool,with many new possibilities for biomedical task execution in narrow and complicated spaces where conventional tools are difficult to access due to the lack of deformability and bio-adaptability.Jianyun Xiong Xing Li Ziyi He Yang Shi Ting Pan Guoshuai Zhu Dengyun Lu Hongbao Xin 2024Light(Science & Applications)2024,13,3:0
