1Multi-sensor Data Fusion for Wheelchair Position Estimation with Unscented Kalman Filter显示文摘This paper investigates the problem of estimation of the wheelchair position in indoor environments with noisy measurements. The measuring system is based on two odometers placed on the axis of the wheels combined with a magnetic compass to determine the position and orientation. Determination of displacements is implemented by an accelerometer. Data coming from sensors are combined and used as inputs to unscented Kalman filter(UKF). Two data fusion architectures: measurement fusion(MF) and state vector fusion(SVF) are proposed to merge the available measurements. Comparative studies of these two architectures show that the MF architecture provides states estimation with relatively less uncertainty compared to SVF. However, odometers measurements determine the position with relatively high uncertainty followed by the accelerometer measurements. Therefore, fusion in the navigation system is needed. 2Morphological, mechanical and thermal properties of cyanate ester/benzoxazine resin composites reinforced by silane treated natural hemp fibers显示文摘This present study deals with the reinforcement of thermosetting resin blends composed of cyanate ester(CE) and benzoxazine(BOZ) resins with natural hemp fibers(NHFs). These NHFs were initially treated by using a silane coupling agent(SCA) in order to chiefly enhance their distributions as well as adhesions within the CE/BOZ resin matrix,then incorporated with various weight amounts ranging from 5 wt% to 20 wt% with a regular interval of 5 wt%. The obtained results showed that at the maximum treated fiber loading(20 wt%), distinctive enhancements in the mechanical properties in terms of flexural strength and microhardness were obtained. Besides, the thermal stability and glass transition temperature(Tg) were appreciably enhanced and were higher than those of the pure CE/BOZ resin properties. With respect to the astonishing properties of the NHFs, these enhancements could be possibly due to the good dispersion and adhesion of the treated NHFs inside the CE/BOZ resin achieved upon using the SCA. 7Microstructure, mechanical and thermo-physical properties of hot-pressed Al2O3-GdAlO3-ZrO2 ceramics with eutectic composition显示文摘A low cost chemical co-precipitation method was employed to fabricate nanoscale Al_2O_3-GdAlO_3-ZrO_2 powder with eutectic composition. A careful control of reaction conditions was required during the preparation. The synthesized nanopowders exhibited a particle size of 20-200 nm, and were highly dispersive and uniform. The results showed that calcination temperature had an important influence on the phase constituents of the nanopowders. With increasing the calcination temperature, a phase transformation from θ-Al_2O_3 to α-Al_2O_3 and a thermal decomposition from Gd_3 Al_5O_(12)(GdAG) to GdAlO_3 and α-Al_2O_3 occurred in sequence. A calcination temperature of 1300 ℃ was needed for the crystallization of α-Al_2 O_3. These nanosized powders were consolidated via hot pressing to produce a fully densified ceramic composite with eutectic composition. The Al_2O_3-GdAlO_3-ZrO_2 ceramic hot-pressed at 1500 ℃ exhibited a relative density of 99.4%, a flexural strength of 485 MPa and a fracture toughness of 6.5 MPa m^(1/2). 20Chemical design and characterization of cellulosic derivatives containing high-nitrogen functional groups:Towards the next generation of energetic biopolymers显示文摘In this research,a promising class of insensitive and high-energy dense biopolymers,which contain nitrogen-rich 1H-tetrazol-1-yl acetate and nitrate ester functional groups,was successfully synthesized through tetrazole derivatization and nitration of cellulose and its micro-sized derivative(TNCN and TCMCN).Their molecular structures,physicochemical properties,thermal behaviors,mechanical sensitivities and detonation performances were studied and compared to those of the corresponding nitrocellulose and nitrated micro-sized cellulose(NCN and CMCN).The developed energetic TNCN and TCMCN exhibited insensitive character with excellent features such as density of 1.710 g/cm3and 1.726 g/cm3,nitrogen content of 20.95%and 22.59%,and detonation velocity of 7552 m/s and 7786 m/s,respectively,and thereby demonstrate their potential applications as new generation of energetic biopolymers to substitute the common NCN.Furthermore,thermal results showed that the designed nitrated and chemical modified cellulosic biopolymers displayed good thermal stability with multistep decomposition mechanism.These results enrich future prospects for the design of promising insensitive and high-energy dense cellulose-rich materials and commence a new chapter in this field.Ahmed Fouzi Tarchoun Djalal Trache Thomas M.Klapotke Amir Abdelaziz Mehdi Derradji Slimane Bekhouche 2022Defence Technology(防务技术)2022,18,4:0
