2Genomic characterizations of H4 subtype avian influenza viruses from live poultry markets in Sichuan province of China, 2014–2015显示文摘Dear Editor,Avian influenza viruses (AIVs) have posed a serious threat to poultry production and public health. To date, more than fourteen AIV subtypes that are able to infect human beings have been documented. Also, it is suggested that new subtypes may be reported in the future, owing to the migration of wild birds and live poultry transportation (Gao, 2018).Poultry may act as a potential incubator for novel subtypes of avian influenza virus (Bi et al., 2016a; Bi et al., 2016b; Liu et al., 2014a; Su et al., 2017). 3Boron doped graphdiyne:A metal-free peroxidase mimetic nanozyme for antibacterial application显示文摘The abuse of conventional antibiotics leads to increasing bacterial resistance.Nanozyme is a new kind of ultra-efficient and safe nanomaterial with intrinsic enzyme-like activities,showing remarkable potential as a next generation nanobactericide.Graphdiyne(GDY)is a burgeoning two-dimensional(2D)carbon allotrope with intriguing physicochemical properties,holding a great promise as a metal-free nanozyme.In this study,a boron doped GDY nanosheet(B-GDY)was constructed to simulate the performance of peroxidase(POD).By promoting the decomposition of H_(2)O_(2) to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS),the bactericidal efficacies against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria were substantially enhanced attributed to the extremely high catalytic activity of B-GDY.In-depth density functional theory(DFT)calculations illuminate that doping of boron can introduce more active B-defect sites as well as lower Gibbs free energy during the H_(2)O_(2) decomposition reaction.Notably,B-GDY contributes to significant wound healing and excellent biocompatibility,reducing the biological burden.The design of this nanozyme opens a new avenue for the development of alternative antibiotics.Xuelong Bi Qiang Bai Lina Wang Fanglin Du Manhong Liu William W.Yu Siheng Li Jiaqiang Li Zhiling Zhu Ning Sui Jin Zhang 2022Nano Research2022,15,2:2
4Facile synthesis of porous Pd nanoflowers with excellent catalytic activity towards CO oxidation显示文摘Microorganism-mediated,hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride(CTAC)-directed(MCD) method was employed in this work to synthesize Pd nanoflowers(PdNFs).Proper Pichia pastoris cells(PPCs) dosage,ascorbic acid(AA),Pd(NO_3)_2 and CTAC concentrations were essential for the growth of the PdNFs.The size of the assynthesized PdNFs could be tuned by adjusting the amount of Pd(NO_3)_2 solution and dosage of PPCs used.Characterization techniques such as X-ray diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy were used to verify the nature of the PdNFs.Finally the PdNF/PPC nanocomposites were immobilized onto TiO_2 supports to obtain bio-PdNF/TiO_2 catalysts which showed excellent catalytic activity for CO oxidation,obtaining 100%conversion at 100℃ and remaining stable over a period of 52 h of reaction time.Tareque Odoom-Wubah Mingming Du Williams Brown Osei Daohua Sun Jiale Huang Qingbiao Li 2015Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2015,23,11:2
