| 1 | Hepatic cystic echinococcosis:Percutaneous treatment as an outpatient procedure显示文摘Objective:To demonstrate utility and safety of the puncture aspiration injection and reospiration(PAIR)technique for outpatients.Methods:Percutaneous treatment with US guidance was applied to 33 patients for 44 cysts.Patients treated with the PAIR technique,were outpatients.PAIR and catheterization technique were evaluated for efficacy and safety of procedure and complication rates.Results:Thirty-five of 44 cysts were treated with the PAIR and 9 of 44 were treated with the catheterization technique.The success rate of the cysts Gharbi type 1(CEI)and type 2(Ct3a)treated with the PAIR technique was 1009.hi the follow up of 9 cysts treated with the catheterization technique,2 of them(22%)developed cyst infection and 1(11%)developed a biliary fistula.Conclusions:The PAIR technique was found to be an effective and safe approach in order to treat Gharbi type 1 and type 2 cysts percutaneously for outpatients.It has a very low complication rate in comparison with the catheterization technique.So every effort should be mode to finish the treatment with PAIR technique. | Mert Kroglu Bekir Erol Cemil Gürses Baris Türkbey Cem Yunus Bas Ahmet Sükrü Alparslan Banu Kale Kroglu Iclal Erdem Toslak Bülent eki Okan Akhan | 2014 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2014，7，3： | 4 |
| 2 | Prevalence of microscopic colitis in patients with diarrhea of unknown etiology in Turkey显示文摘AIM: To investigate the prevalence and demography of microscopic colitis in patients with diarrhea of unknown etiology and normal colonoscopy in Turkey. METHODS: Between March, 1998 to July, 2005, 129 patients with chronic non-bloody diarrhea of unexplained etiology who had undergone full colonoscopy with no obvious abnormalities were included in the study. Two biopsies were obtained from all colonic segments and terminal ileum for diagnosis of microscopic colitis. On histopathologic examination, criteria for lymphocytic colitis (intraepithelial lymphocyte ≥ 20 per 100 intercryptal epithelial cells, change in surface epithelium, mononuclear infiltration of the lamina propria) and collagenous colitis (subepithelial collagen band thickness ≥ 10 μm) were explored. RESULTS: Lymphocytic colitis was diagnosed in 12 (9%) patients (Female/Male: 7/5, mean age: 45 year, range: 27-63) and collagenous colitis was diagnosed in only 3 (2.5%) patients (all female, mean age: 60 years, range: 54-65).CONCLUSION: Biopsy of Turkish patients with the diagnosis of chronic non-bloody diarrhea of unexplained etiology and normal colonoscopic findings will reveal microscopic colitis in approximately 10% of the patients. | 3 | Effect of Si addition on microstructure and wear properties of Mg-Sn as-cast alloys显示文摘Effect of Si addition on microstructure,hardness and wear resistance of as cast Mg-5Sn and Mg-10Sn alloys were investigated.For this purpose alloys with wt.-%0,0.5,1,1.5 Si were cast using an induction furnace.Addition of Si to both alloys caused an increasement in the amount of intermetallic phases at the grain boundaries.Also refined grain structure was reported with increasing Si content in the cast alloys.Both increased amount of intermetallics and decreased grain size caused an increase in the hardness of the alloys.Wear resistance of the binary alloys first increased with Si addition and then decreased.Increased amounts of Si in the alloys caused crack formation during wear tests and decreased wear resistance.Sliding speed also has a dramatical effect on the wear resistance of the alloys.Increased sliding speed resulted with higher wear resistance.Worn surfaces of the alloys also investigated under scanning electron microscope to understand the wear mechanisms operated during wear tests. | Erdem Karakulak Yusuf Burak Küçüker | 2018 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2018，6，4： | 2 |
