1Lower temperature synthesis of cerium-doped polycrystalline lutetium pyrosilicate powders by a novel sol-gel processing显示文摘A novel sol-gel processing was developed to synthesize polycrystalline cerium-doped lutetium pyrosilicate(Lu2Si2O7:Ce,LPS:Ce)powders under low temperature.It was found that the addition of propylene oxide(PPO)could promote the formation of Lu-O-Si bonds in precursor,which was beneficial to the formation of LPS phase.X-ray diffraction(XRD)patterns indicated that the single-phased LPS powder was well crystallized at 1050°C.Microstructure observation demonstrated that the synthetic LPS powder was composed of ellipsoidal grains with the mean size of 40 nm.The luminescent properties were characterized by photoluminescence(PL),X-ray excited luminescence(XEL)and vacuum ultraviolet(VUV)spectroscopy at room temperature.The synthetic LPS:Ce powder emitted a broad emission spectrum centered at about 380 nm,which should be ascribed to the 5d→4f transition of Ce3+.Decay time of the synthetic LPS:Ce powder was measured to be only 32 ns.FAN LingCong XU Jian SHI Ying XIE JianJun LEI Fang 2014Science China(Technological Sciences)2014,57,8:3

4A novel Eu^(3+)-doped phosphor-in-glass for WLEDs and the effect of borophosphate matrix显示文摘Phosphor-in-glass(PiG)is a potential color convertor for high power WLEDs.A novel glass matrix with advanced performance is still a challenge.Recently,Eu^(3+)doped glass matrix has attracted much consideration mainly due to its red compensation.A new borophosphate matrix to realize Eu^(3+)red light was designed in the Na_(2)O-ZnO-P_(2)O_(5)-B_(2)O_(3)-Eu_(2)O_(3)system.Meanwhile,a series of PiGs composed of different concentrations of Y3Al5O12:Ce phosphor and the matrix were also fabricated by re-sintering.The crystallization of Eu^(3+)based phosphate offers a novel red emission quenching apart from normal concentration quenching in the glass system.No direct energy transfer but only little reabso rption occurs between Eu^(3+)and Ce^(3+)ions.The Ce^(3+)concentration effect is obvious on the electroluminescent color.The optimized color rendering index of 79.7,the CIE coordinates near natural white and the range of CCT from 3943 to 6097 K were obtained for the packaged white light emitting diodes(WLEDs)together with the excellent CCT stability higher than about 97.5%and the quadruple thermal conductivity than that of silicon resin.The work implies borophosphate glass based PiGs with fine transparence and energy conversion efficiency are promising for excellent WLEDs,while the LED by using the PiG sample without any yellow phosphor doped is of high color purity and has a potential use as the 465 nm blue source.Teng Ma Haohong Chen Luqiao Yin Fang Lei Ying Shi Jianjun Xie Lei Zhang Lingcong Fan 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,2:0

6Fabrication and luminescence of highly transparent C12A7:Tb^(3+)glass-ceramics via in-situ crystallization from aerodynamic levitation processed glasses显示文摘Rare earth doped 12CaO·7Al_(2)O_(3)(C12A7)glass-ceramics are one of attractive photonic materials due to their high transparency,high luminescent efficiency and eco-friendly nature.A series of C12A7 glasses with different Tb^(3+)doping concentrations was prepared by aerodynamic levitation method.The C12A7:Tb glass-ceramics were obtained via in-situ growth from the glasses with the identical chemical composition at 800℃.The microstructure observation demonstrates that the elemental distributions of Ca and Al are homogeneous in the glass-ceramics and the grain size of C12A7 is 4-70 nm.The in-line transmittance of glass-ceramics reaches as high as 82%at 1500 nm.The emission spectra of the C12A7:Tb glass-ceramics present characteristic Tb^(3+)emission peaks at 486 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_6),541 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_(5)),585 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_(4))and 621 nm(^(5)D_(4)→^(7)F_(3)).The photolumine scence lifetime of C12A7:0.3%Tb glass-ceramic is 1.9 ms.Compared with the emission intensity of the glasses,that of the glass-ceramics increases due to the reducing in concentration of oxygen vacancy associated with network forming(NWF)cations.The highly transparent C12A7:Tb glass-ceramics may be a promising candidate for green light source in solid state lighting.Yaling Zhang Lingcong Fan Xuefeng Wang Jiansheng Xie Ying Shi 2023Journal of Rare Earths2023,41,11:0
