1Clinical study of paclitaxel plus cisplatin in the treatment of recurrent cervical cancer显示文摘Objective: To observe the efficacy and toxicities of paclitaxel plus cisplatin in the treatment of recurrent cervical cancer. Methods: Twenty-three patients with a diagnosis of recurrent cervical cancer were eligible. Three-weekly chemo- therapy regimen consisted of paclitaxel 135–150 mg/m2 infusion for 3 h on day 1, cisplatin 25 mg/m2 infusion on day 1 to 3. All patients received at least two cycles treatment. Results: The response rates was 47.8%, including CR 2 cases (8.7%), PR 9 cases (39.1%). The major toxicity included neutropenia, nausea vomiting, arthralgia, myalgia and alopecia. 2Photonics-based radar with balanced I/Q de-chirping for interference-suppressed high-resolution detection and imaging显示文摘Photonics-based radar with a photonic de-chirp receiver has the advantages of broadband operation and real-time signal processing, but it suffers from interference from image frequencies and other undesired frequency-mixing components, due to single-channel real-valued photonic frequency mixing. In this paper, we propose a photonicsbased radar with a photonic frequency-doubling transmitter and a balanced in-phase and quadrature(I/Q)de-chirp receiver. This radar transmits broadband linearly frequency-modulated signals generated by photonic frequency doubling and performs I/Q de-chirping of the radar echoes based on a balanced photonic I/Q frequency mixer, which is realized by applying a 90° optical hybrid followed by balanced photodetectors. The proposed radar has a high range resolution because of the large operation bandwidth and achieves interference-free detection by suppressing the image frequencies and other undesired frequency-mixing components. In the experiment, a photonics-based K-band radar with a bandwidth of 8 GHz is demonstrated. The balanced I/Q de-chirping receiver achieves an image-rejection ratio of over 30 dB and successfully eliminates the interference due to the baseband envelope and the frequency mixing between radar echoes of different targets. In addition, the desired dechirped signal power is also enhanced with balanced detection. 3Multiple model efficient particle filter based track-before-detect for maneuvering weak targets显示文摘It is a tough problem to jointly detect and track a weak target, and it becomes even more challenging when the target is maneuvering. The above problem is formulated by using the Bayesian theory and a multiple model(MM) based filter is proposed. The filter presented uses the MM method to accommodate the multiple motions that a maneuvering target may travel under by adding a random variable representing the motion model to the target state. To strengthen the efficiency performance of the filter,the target existence variable is separated from the target state and the existence probability is calculated in a more efficient way. To examine the performance of the MM based approach, a typical track-before-detect(TBD) scenario with a maneuvering target is used for simulations. 4Mechanisms of Difference in Mn Efficiency Between Wheat and Oilseed Rape显示文摘By solution culture experiment, three wheat genotypes (Ttiticum aestivum L.) and two oilseed rape genotypes (Brassica napus L.) differing in Mn efficiency under Mn-deficient conditions were used to study mechanisms of the difference in Mn efficiency between wheat and oilseed rape. The results showed that there were significant differences in the abilities of MnIV reduction and acidification in root rhizosphere between the two species. Compared with wheat, oilseed rape had much higher reducing capacity and intensity of rhizosphere acidification under Mn-deficient conditions. 5Optical single sideband polarization modulation for radio-over-fiber system and microwave photonic signal processing显示文摘An approach to implementing optical single sideband(OSSB)polarization modulation,which is a combination of two orthogonally polarized OSSB modulations with complementary phase differences between the optical carrier and the sideband,is demonstrated based on two cascaded polarization modulators(PolMs).The two PolMs are driven by two RF signals that are 90°out of phase.By properly adjusting the polarization state between the two PolMs,OSSB polarization modulation with large operation bandwidth can be realized.An experiment is performed.OSSB polarization modulation with an operation bandwidth from 2 to 35 GHz is successfully demonstrated.The spectral profile of the OSSB polarization-modulated signal is observed through an optical spectrum analyzer,and its complementary phase properties are analyzed by sending the signal to a photodetector(PD)for square-law detection.Due to the complementary phase differences between the optical carrier and the sideband along the two polarization directions,no microwave frequency component is generated after the PD.The generated OSSB polarization-modulated signal is transmitted through 25 and 50 km single-mode fiber with 50 Mbaud 16 quadrature amplitude modulation baseband data to investigate the transmission performance of the proposed system in radio-over-fiber applications,and very small error vector magnitude degradation is observed.OSSB polarization modulation is also employed to realize a microwave photonic phase shifter.A full-range tunable phase shift is obtained for 2 and 35 GHz microwave signals.Yamei Zhang Fangzheng Zhang Shilong Pan 2014Photonics Research2014,2,4:4
6Observer-based adaptive sliding mode backstepping output-feedback DSC for spin-stabilized canard-controlled projectiles显示文摘This article presents a complete nonlinear controller design for a class of spin-stabilized canard-controlled projectiles.Uniformly ultimate boundedness and tracking are achieved,exploiting a heavily coupled,bounded uncertain and highly nonlinear model of longitudinal and lateral dynamics.In order to estimate unmeasurable states,an observer is proposed for an augmented multiple-input-multiple-output(MIMO) nonlinear system with an adaptive sliding mode term against the disturbances.Under the frame of a backstepping design,an adaptive sliding mode output-feedback dynamic surface control(DSC) approach is derived recursively by virtue of the estimated states.The DSC technique is adopted to overcome the problem of ‘‘explosion of complexity' and relieve the stress of the guidance loop.It is proven that all signals of the MIMO closed-loop system,including the observer and controller,are uniformly ultimately bounded,and the tracking errors converge to an arbitrarily small neighborhood of the origin.Simulation results for the observer and controller are provided to illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed approach.Yuanchuan SHEN Jianqiao YU Guanchen LUO Xiaolin AI Zhenyue JIA Fangzheng CHEN 2017Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2017,30,3:4
7Background-free pulsed microwave signal generation based on spectral shaping and frequency-to-time mapping显示文摘A novel scheme for the generation of background-free pulsed microwave signals is proposed and experimentally demonstrated based on spectral shaping,frequency-to-time mapping,and balanced photodetection.In the proposed scheme,the optical spectral shaper,which consists of a differential group delay(DGD)element,two polarization controllers,and a polarization beam splitter,has two outputs with complementary power transfer functions.By passing a short optical pulse through the spectral shaper and a dispersive element(DE),a pulsed microwave signal is obtained after balanced photodetection.Thanks to the balanced photodetection,the lowfrequency components(i.e.,the background signal)in the electrical spectrum is suppressed,leading to the generation of a background-free pulsed microwave signal.Meanwhile,the spectral power of the obtained microwave signal is enhanced compared to that obtained by single-end detection.Experimental results for the generation of a pulsed microwave signal centered at 12.46 GHz show that the background signal can be suppressed by more than 30 dB,and the spectral power is increased by 5.5 dB.In addition,the central frequency of the obtained background-free pulsed microwave signal can be tuned by changing the DGD introduced by the DGD element,and/or by changing the dispersion of the DE.Fangzheng Zhang Xiaozhong Ge Shilong Pan 2014Photonics Research2014,2,4:4
8Reconstructing the flux-rope topology using the FOTE method显示文摘With high-resolution data of the Magnetospheric Multiscale(MMS) mission, we observe a magnetic flux rope(MFR) in the Earth's magnetosheath. This MFR, showing a clear bipolar variation of the magnetic field in the normal component to local current sheet, contains a strong core field. We use the FOTE method to reconstruct the topology of this MFR and find it is consistent with previous expectation. For the first time, the spiral field and core field of the MFR are both revealed from the FOTE method. Comparing topologies reconstructed at different times, we suggest that the axis of the MFR rotates about 88° at different spatial location. Shape and size of the normal projection to axis vary with the spatial location as well. 9Dynamical economic dispatch using distributed barrier function-based optimization algorithm显示文摘In this paper, we study the distributed economic dispatch problem where the supply demand balance, capacity constraints and ramp-rate constraints are considered. In order to accommodate varying power load and power storage in reality, we introduce two variables where each variable is time-varing and has its own dynamics. The renewable power is also considered. Barrier functions are introduced to deal with the local constraints by means of imposing penalty terms into the objective function to ensure that the optimal solution satisfies the corresponding constraints. Based on the Langrange dual theory, the primal optimization problem is transformed into the dual problem, which is solved by the primary-dual algorithm proposed in this paper. Under the assumption that the communication graph is an undirected and connected graph, we analyze the convergence of the proposed algorithm. 11A Content-Aware Bitrate Selection Method Using Multi-Step Prediction for 360-Degree Video Streaming显示文摘A content-aware multi-step prediction control(CAMPC)algorithm is proposed to determine the bitrate of 360-degree videos,aim⁃ing to enhance the quality of experience(QoE)of users and reduce the cost of video content providers(VCP).The CAMPC algorithm first em⁃ploys a neural network to generate the content richness and combines it with the current field of view(FOV)to accurately predict the probability distribution of tiles being viewed.Then,for the tiles in the predicted viewport which directly affect QoE,the CAMPC algorithm utilizes a multi-step prediction for future system states,and accordingly selects the bitrates of multiple subsequent steps,instead of an instantaneous state.Meanwhile,it controls the buffer occupancy to eliminate the impact of prediction errors.We implement CAMPC on players by building a 360-degree video streaming platform and evaluating other advanced adaptive bitrate(ABR)rules through the real network.Experimental results show that CAMPC can save 83.5%of bandwidth resources compared with the scheme that completely transmits the tiles outside the viewport with the Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP(DASH)protocol.Besides,the proposed method can improve the system utility by 62.7%and 27.6%compared with the DASH official and viewport-based rules,respectively.GAO Nianzhen YU Yifang HUA Xinhai FENG Fangzheng JIANG Tao 2022ZTE Communications2022,20,4:1
12Heating of heavy oil by circulating hot water in closed double casing in ultra-deep wells显示文摘In heavy oil production,the loss of energy to ambient surroundings decreases the temperature of the heavy oil flowing upwards in a vertical wellbore,which increases the oil viscosity and the oil may not flow normally in the wellbore.Therefore,it is necessary to lower the heavy oil viscosity by heating methods to allow it to be lifted easily.Heating of heavy oil in an oil well is achieved by circulating hot water in annuli in the well(tubing-casing annulus,casing-casing annulus).In this paper,based on heat transfer principles and fluid flow theory,a model is developed for produced fluids and hot water flowing in a vertical wellbore.The temperature and pressure of produced fluids and hot water in the wellbore are calculated and the effect of hot water on heavy oil temperature is analyzed.Calculated results show that the hot water circulating in the annuli may effectively heat the heavy oil in the tubing,so as to significantly reduce both oil viscosity and resistance to oil flow.Lin Riyi Wang Fangzheng Wang Xinwei 2012Petroleum Science2012,9,4:1
