1Preparation of nano-sized cerium and titanium pyrophosphates via solid-state reaction at room temperature显示文摘Nano-sized cerium-titanium pyrophosphates Ce1-xTixP2O7 (with x = 0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.7, 0.9, and 1.0) were obtained by grinding a mixture of Ce(SO4)2·4H2O, Ti(SO4)2, and Na4P2O7·10H2O in the presence of surfactant PEG-400 at room temperature, washing the mixture with water to remove soluble inorganic salts, and drying at 100°C. The products and their calcined samples were characterized using ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy (UV-vis), thermogravimetry and differential thermal analyses (TG/DTA), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The results show that nano-sized Ce1-xTixP2O7 behave as an excellent UV-shielding material. Thereinto, the CeP2O7 has the most excellent UV-shielding effect, and the amorphous state of Ce0.8Ti0.2P2O7 can keep at a higher temperature than CeP2O7. Therefore, the stabilization of the amorphous state of the cerium pyrophosphates was carried out by doping titanium. 4Concentration and separation of vanadium from alkaline media by strong alkaline anion-exchange resin 717显示文摘With strong alkaline anion-exchange resin 717 as the sorbent and NaOH solution as the eluent,a study on the sorption from alkaline solution and elution of vanadium(V),silicon(Ⅳ),and aluminium(Ⅲ) was carried out.Different parameters affecting the sorption and elution process,including temperature,pH values as well as the ratio of resin to solution,were investigated.The results show that sorption degree of vana-dium(V) increases with a decrease of pH values,and V(V) ions are easier sorbed than Si(Ⅳ) and Al(Ⅲ) ions under the same conditions.The sorption degree of V(V),Si(Ⅳ),and Al(Ⅲ) at pH 9.14 for 15 min are 90.6%,33.5%,and 21.6%,respectively.Si(Ⅳ),Al(Ⅲ),and V(V) ions sorbed on 717 resin were eluted by use of 2 mol·L-1 NaOH solution;the desorption degree of V(V),Si(Ⅳ),and Al(Ⅲ) for 5 min are 81.7%,99.1%,and 99.3%,respectively.HUANG Jinwen SU Peng WU Wenwei LIAO Sen QIN Huiquan WU Xuehang HE Xiaohu TAO Liujia FAN Yanjin 2010Rare Metals2010,29,5:1

6Micro Hierarchical Structure and Mechanical Property of Sparrow Hawk (Accipiter nisus) Feather Shaf显示文摘In this study,the real 3D model of the feather shaft that is composed of medulla and cortex is characterized by X-ray computer tomography,and the structural features are quantitatively analyzed.Compression and tensile tests are conducted to evaluate the mechanical performance of the feather shaft and cortex at different regions.The analysis of the 3D model shows that the medulla accounts for∼70%of the shaft volume and exhibits a closed-cell foam-like structure,with a porosity of 59%.The cells in the medulla show dodecahedron and decahedron morphology and have an equivalent diameter of∼30μm.In axial compression,the presence of medulla enhances the shaft stability.Especially,the combined effect of the medulla and cortex increases the buckling strength of the middle and distal shaft by 77%and 141%,respectively,compared to the calculated value of the shaft using linear mixed rule.The tensile properties of the cortex along the shaft axis are anisotropic because of the different fiber structures.As the fiber orientation gradually becomes uniform in the axial direction,the Young’s modulus and tensile strength of the cortex on the dorsal gradually increase from calamus to the distal shaft,and the fracture mode changes from tortuous fracture to V-shaped fracture.The cortex on the lateral shows the opposite trend,that is the distal shaft becomes weaker due to fiber tangles.Yichen Lu Zongning Chen Enyu Guo Xiangqing Kong Huijun Kang Yanjin Xu Rengeng Li Guohua Fan Tongmin Wang 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,5:0
