1Research of Fast Satellite Selection Algorithm for Multi-constellation显示文摘We propose a fast satellite selection algorithm for multi-constellation, which is based on both Newton's identities for Geometric dilution of precision(GDOP)fast computation and optimal satellite geometric distribution for less cycle participation. An effective closed-form formula is proposed for GDOP approximation, avoiding conventional matrix inversion and complexity. We reduce computational cycles with auxiliary optimal satellite geometric distribution, which improves the efficiency of realtime positioning under the combined action of both. Simulation results indicate that we can save more than 44% and99% computational complexity when selecting 7 satellites from 10 and 30 visible satellites respectively. 2Band manipulation for high thermoelectric performance in SnTe through heavy CdSe-alloying显示文摘Convergence of L and S valence bands through alloying with monotellurides,has successfully realized the significant zT-enhancement in SnTe thermoelectrics.CdTe,as a solvend introducing Cd-substitution at Sn site,has been demonstrated theoretically and experimentally as an effective agent to reduce the energy difference between two valence bands.However,the low solubility of~3%for CdTe in SnTe limits the possibility for further zT-enhancement in SnTe,which motivates the existing efforts on increasing solubility of CdTe or exploring Cd-based solvend with higher solubility.Inspired by the solubility as high as 14%for CdSe in SnTe at 1050 K,this work focuses on the effect of CdSe on thermoelectric properties of SnTe.The converged valence bands induced by the heavy Cd-substitution,results in a significant increase in electronic performance.Moreover,CdSe-alloying would simultaneously introduce cation and anion point defects and boundary interfaces of CdSe precipitates,which leads to a strong phonon scattering and therefore a reduced lattice thermal conductivity of~0.8 W/m-K.As a result,the synergistic effect of electronic and thermal performances results in a peak zT as high as 1.1 at 850 K,demonstrating(SnTe)1-x(CdSe)x as the promising thermoelectric materials.Bo Gao Jing Tang Fanchen Meng Wen Li 2019Journal of Materiomics2019,5,1:3
3Chessboard-interpolation-based multiple description video coding显示文摘To enhance the robustness of video transmission over noisy channels, this paper presents a multiple description video coding algorithm based on chessboardinterpolation. In the algorithm, the input image is decomposed according to the chessboard pattern, and then interpolated to produce two approximate images with the same resolution. Consequently, the state-of-the-art DCT+MC (Discrete Cosine Transform+Motion Compensation) video codec is independently applied to the two approximate images to generate two descriptions of the original image. In this framework, a fairely good reconstructed image quality is obtained when two descriptions are received simultaneously, while an acceptable reconstructed image quality could be yielded if only one description is available. Moreover, the mismatch between the encoder and the decoder could be effectively controlled through partial coding of the difference signal between two descriptions. In bidirectional video communications, a drift control scheme is further proposed, in which the error drift could be eliminated after the encoder imitating the error concealment actions of the decoder. Since the inherent correlation among adjacent blocks of DCT+MC video coding is efficiently exploited, this algorithm has a better redundancy-rate-distortion (RRD) performance than other multiple description algorithms. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm is fairly robust while preserves a high compression rate. A more constant reconstructed image quality is achieved over extremely noisy channels, compared with traditional single description coding. 7Synergistic Catalysis of Enzymes and Biomimetic MOFs: Immobilizing Cyt c on Two-dimensional MOFs to Enhance the Performance of Peroxidase显示文摘Metal-organic frameworks(MOFs) have been widely regarded as promising carriers for enzyme immobilization owing to their advantages in improving loading and regulating interaction with enzymes. However, they are still suffering from the problems of slow mass transfer and compromising activity. In this paper, the active two-dimensional(2D) MOF of Cu-TCPP(Fe)[TCPP=tetrakis(4-carboxy-phenyl)porphyrin], which possesses the biomimetic architecture of peroxidase, was adopted to anchor cytochrome(Cyt c) for the enhancement of catalytic activity. The atomic/nanometer thickness and micrometer lateral dimension of 2D MOFs can ensure the full exposure of immobilized enzymes and a shorter diffusion distance for the reactant molecules. Besides, the active carrier can provide synergistic catalysis and activity compensation during the reaction. 8Fixed-Length Error Resilient Code and Its Application in Video Coding显示文摘Since popular entropy coding techniques such as Variable-length code (VLC) tend to cause severe error propagation in noisy environments, an error resilient entropy coding technique named Fixed-length error resilient code (FLERC) is proposed to mitigate the problem. It is found that even for a non-stationary source, the probability of error propagation could be minimized through introducing intervals into the codeword space of the fixed-length codes. FLERC is particularly suitable for the entropy coding for video signals in error-prone environments, where a little distortion is tolerable, but severe error propagation would lead to fatal consequences. An iterative construction algorithm for FLERC is presented in this paper. In addition, FLERC is adopted instead of VLC as the entropy coder of the DCT coefficients in H.263++Data partitioning slice (DPS) mode, and tested on noisy channels. The simulation results show that this scheme outperforms the scheme of H.263++ combined with FEC when the channel noise is highly extensive, since the error propagation is effectively suppressed by using FLERC. 9Incorporating metal nanoparticles in porous materials via selective heating effect using microwave显示文摘Metal nanoparticle@porous material composites have attracted increasing attention due to their excellent synergistic catalytic performance.However,it is a challenge to introduce metal nanoparticles into cavities of porous materials without agglomeration on the exterior.Despite the progress achieved,a universal approach that can integrate different kinds of metal nanoparticles and porous materials is still highly desirable.Here we report a facile and general approach to fabricating metal nanoparticle@porous materials by microwave-triggered selective heating.The microwave can pass through the non-polar solvent and act on the polar solvent in the porous materials,causing the polar solvent to be heated,vaporized,and away from the pores of porous materials.The local void produced by the escape of polar solvent facilitates non-polar solvent containing metallic precursor to be dragged into the narrow pores,followed by further reduction,resulting in the complete encapsulation of nanoparticles.A series of metal nanoparticles@porous materials,ranging from metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)to zeolites,are successfully prepared by this method and show excellent size selectivity in catalytic reactions.Yingyu Zhou Jiacheng Liu Fuyuan Sun Junchen Ouyang Ruifa Su Fanchen Meng Yongqi Luo Cheng Xu Weina Zhang Suoying Zhang Fengwei Huo 2024Nano Research2024,17,4:0
10Application of Ejector in Solid Oxide Fuel Cell Anode Circulation System显示文摘As a new generation fuel cell,solid oxide fuel cell(SOFC)has become a hot spot in the industry due to its unique advantages.In order to improve energy utilization and prevent carbon deposition in the reformer,the ejector is usually used to recover the cell anode exhaust.In this paper,the applications related to ejector in SOFC are reviewed,including the ejector design and optimization methods,the ejector performance verification experiment and the performance of ejector in SOFC systems.Besides,in order to adapt to the wide power output characteristics of the stack,a study on extending the working range of the ejector is also introduced.On the one hand,the theory of optimal design of ejector used in SOFC system is obtained,including the influence of main structure parameters of ejector on the performance of the whole system and the theoretical model of performance monitoring of ejector used in SOFC.On the other hand,it is proved that the ejector used in SOFC power system can prevent the occurrence of carbon deposition problems,while the recovery of exhaust heat can improve the energy utilization of the system.Finally,suggestions for future related research work are given,aiming to promote the ejector-based SOFC system to provide higher and more stable performance in the future.LI Dongdong ZHAO Hongxia KONG Fanchen ZHANG Guanmin 2022Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,3:0
