| 1 | Multicolor carbon dots with concentration-tunable fluorescence and solvent-affected aggregation states for white light-emitting diodes显示文摘Multicolor emissive carbon dots(M-CDs)have tremendous potential applications in manifold fields of bioimaging,biomedicine and light-emitting devices.Until now,it is still difficult to produce fluorescence tunable CDs with high quantum yield across the entire visible spectra.In this work,a type of M-CDs with concentration-tunable fluorescence and solvent-affected aggregation states was synthesized by solvothermal treatment of citric acid(CA)and 1-(2-pyridylazo)-2-naphthol(PAN)and the formation mechanism was monitored by different reaction time and raw material ratio.The fluorescence spectra of M-CDs in organic solvents can range from 350 to 750 nm by adjusting the concentration.M-CDs possess different aggregation states in water and organic solvents,accompanied by different fluorescence emission,which is attributed to the different surface states of various component CDs in M-CDs.Moreover,the obtained products can be uniformly dispersed into polymethylmethacrylate(PMMA)solutions as well as epoxy resins to fabricate transparent CDs/PMMA films and CDs/epoxy composites,which can effectively prevent the aggregation and produce multicolor and white light-emitting diodes(WLED).In addition,the prepared WLED with Commission Internationale de L’Eclairage(CIE)of(0.29,0.31)by using M-CDs/epoxy resin as packages,demonstrating the M-CDs exhibit potential applications for light-emitting devices. | Fanyong Yan Yingxia Jiang Xiaodong Sun Junfu Wei Liang Chen Yuyang Zhang | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,1: | 4 |
| 2 | Microstructure and Wear Resistance of in situ Formed Duplex Coating Fabricated by Plasma Nitriding Ti Coated 2024 Al Alloy显示文摘In this study, plasma nitriding was carried out on pure titanium film coated 2024 Al alloy to improve its surface mechanical property. Ti film with the thickness of 3.0 mm was firstly fabricated by means of magnetron sputtering method. Then, the Ti coated specimen was subjected to plasma atmosphere comprising 40% N2e60% H2 at 430 C for 8 h. The microstructures of the nitrided specimens were characterized by X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. Microhardness tester and pin-on-disc tribometer were used to test the mechanical properties of the untreated and nitrided specimen. The results showed that the surface of the nitrided specimen was composed of three layers(i.e. the outside nitride Ti N0.3layer, the middle Al3 Ti layer and the inside Al18Ti2Mg3 layer). The surface hardness and wear resistance of 2024 Al alloy were increased simultaneously by duplex treatment. | 3 | Denoising method of X-ray phase contrast DR image for TRISO-coated fuel particles显示文摘TRISO(tristructural-isotropic) fuel is a type of micro fuel particles used in high-temperature gas-cooled reactors(HTGRs).Among the quality evaluation methods for such particles,in-line phase contrast imaging technique(PCI) is more feasible for nondestructive measurement.Due to imaging hardware limitations,high noise level is a distinct feature of PCI images,and as a result,the dimensional measurement accuracy of TRISO-coated fuel particles decreases.Therefore,we propose an improved denoising hybrid model named as NL P-M model which introduces non-local theory and retains the merits of the Perona-Malik(P-M) model.The improved model is applied to numerical simulation and practical PCI images.Quantitative analysis proves that this new anisotropic diffusion model can preserve edge or texture information effectively,while ruling out noise and distinctly decreasing staircasing artifacts.Especially during the process of coating layer thickness measurement,the NL P-M model makes it easy to obtain continuous contours without noisy points or fake contour segments,thus enhancing the measurement accuracy.To address calculation complexity,a graphic processing unit(GPU) is adopted to realize the acceleration of the NL P-M denoising. | Min Yang Jianhai Zhang Fanyong Meng Sung-Jin Song Xingdong Li Wenli Liu Dongbo Wei | 2013 | Particuology2013,11,6: | 2 |

| 7 | Solvent-controlled synthesis strategy of multicolor emission carbon dots and its applications in sensing and light-emitting devices显示文摘Carbon dots(CDs),as a new kind of carbon-based luminescent nanomaterials,have drawn widespread attention in the fields of fluorescence sensing,optoelectronic devices,and biological imaging.This work uses citric acid(CA)and Nile Blue A(NBA)as precursors.By simply changing the solvent in the reaction,their bandgaps were systematically controlled,thereby successfully obtaining bright blue,yellow and red fluorescence emission CDs(B-,Y-and RCDs).The higher quantum yield(QY)of B-,Y-and RCDs are 64%,57%and 51%,respectively.The selected precursors and different solvents are the key to the formation of three emission CDs.Detailed characterization and density functional theory(DFT)calculations further indicate that the difference in emission color of CDs is due to the size of the sp^(2) conjugate domain.In addition,we used multicolor CDs as fluorescent probes to investigate their performance in detection.Among them,BCDs and YCDs can detect Sudan Red I with high selectivity and sensitivity.In the concentration range of 0 to 80 pM,the detection limits are 56 and 41 nM,respectively.Multicolor emitting phosphors and fluorescent films are also obtained by mixing CDs with other matrices.Using Ultraviolet(UV)chip as the excitation source and combining with multicolor fluorescent film and a certain proportion of B-,Y-,and RCDs/epoxy resin composites,bright monochromatic light-emitting diodes(LEDs)and white LED(WLED)with high color rendering index(CRI)were prepared.The above results indicate that the multicolor CDs prepared by us have great application potential in the fields of food safety control and optical devices. | Zhonghui Sun Fanyong Yan Jing Xu Hao Zhang Li Chen | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,1: | 1 |
