1Report on Childhood Obesity in China(8):Effects and Sustainability of Physical Activity Intervention on Body Composition of Chinese Youth显示文摘Objectives To determine whether a large-scale physical activity intervention could affect body composition in primary school students in Beijing,China.Methods The study design was one-year cluster randomized controlled trial of physical activity intervention(20 min of daily exercise in the classroom) with an additional year of follow-up among 4 700 students aged 8-11 years at baseline.Results After the one-year intervention,BMI increased by 0.56 kg/m^2(SD 1.15) in the intervention group and by 0.72 kg/m^2(SD 1.20) in the control group,with a mean difference of-0.15 kg/m^2(95%CI:-0.28 to-0.02).BMI z score decreased by-0.05(SD 0.44) in the intervention group,but increased by 0.01(SD 0.46) in the control group,with a mean difference of-0.07(-0.13 to-0.01).After another year of follow up,compared to the control group,children in the intervention group had significantly lower BMI(-0.13,-0.25 to-0.01),BMI z score(-0.05,-0.10 to-0.01),fat mass(-0.27 kg,-0.53 to-0.02) and percent body fat(-0.53,-1.00 to-0.05).The intervention had a more pronounced effect on weight,height,BMI,BMI z score,and body composition among obese children than among normal weight or overweight children.Compared to the control group,the intervention group had a significantly higher percentage of children who maintained or reduced their BMI z score at year 1(P=0.008) and year 2(P=0.04).Conclusions These findings suggest that 20 min of daily moderate to vigorous physical activity during the school year is a feasible and effective way to prevent excessive gain of body weight,BMI,and body fatness in primary school students.YAN-PING LI XIAO=QI HU EVERT G. 2Novel hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites for dramatically enhanced electromagnetic absorbing properties显示文摘In order to prevent the microwave leakage and mutual interference,more and more microwave absorbing devices are added into the design of electronic products to ensure its routine operation.In this work,we have successfully prepared MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) hierarchical composites by one-pot hydrothermal method and focused on the relationship between structures and electromagnetic absorbing properties.Supported by comprehensive characterizations,M0S_(2) nanosheets were proved to be anchored on the surface and interlayer of Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) through a hydrothermal process.Additionally,TiO_(2) nanoparticles were obtained in situ.Due to these hierarchical structures,the MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites showed greatly enhanced microwave absorbing performance.The MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites exhibit a maximum reflection loss value of -33.5 dB at 10.24 GHz and the effective absorption bandwidth covers 3.1GHz(13.9-17 GHz)at the thickness of 1.0 mm,implying the features of wide frequency and light weight.This work in the hierarchical structure of MoS_(2)/TiO_(2)/Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x) composites opens a promising door to the exploration of constructing extraordinary electromagnetic wave absorbents.Heng DU Qipeng ZHANG Biao ZHAO Frank MARKEN Qiancheng GAO Hongxia LU Li GUAN Hailong WANG Gang SHAO Hongliang XU Rui ZHANG Bingbing FAN 2021Journal of Advanced Ceramics2021,10,5:4
3Anti-solvent engineering for efficient semitransparent CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite solar cells for greenhouse applications显示文摘With ideal combination of benefits that selectively converts high photon energy spectrum into electricity while transmitting low energy photo ns for photos yn thesis,the CH3NH3PbBr3 perovskite solar cell(BPSC)is a promising candidate for efficient greenhouse based building integrated photovoltaic(BIPV)applications.However,the efficiency of BPSCs is still much lower than their theoretical efficiency.In general,interface band alignment is regarded as the vital factor of the BPSCs whereas only few reports on enhancing perovskite film quality.In this work,highly efficient BPSCs were fabricated by improving the crystallization process of CH3NH3PbBr3 with the assistance of anti-solvents.A new anti-solvent of diphenyl ether(DPE)was developed for its strong interaction with the solvents in the perovskite precursor solution.By using the anti-solvent of DPE,trap-state density of the CH3NH3PbBr3 film is reduced and the electron lifetime is enhanced along with the large-grain crystals compared with the samples from conventional anti-solvent of chlorobenzene.Upon preliminary optimization,the efficiencies of typical and semitransparent BPSCs are improved to as high as 9.54%and 7.51%,respectively.Optical absorption measurement demonstrates that the cell without metal electrode shows 80%transparency in the wavelength range of 550-1000 nm that is perfect for greenhouse vegetation.Considering that the cell absorbs light in the blue spectrum before 550 nm,it offers very high solar cell efficiency with only 17.8%of total photons,while over 60%of total photons can transm让through for photosynthesis if a transparent electrode can be obtained such as indium doped SnO2.Waqas Siddique Subhani Kai Wang Minyong Du Xiuli Wang Ningyi Yuan Jianning Ding Shengzhong(Frank)Liu 2019Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,7:3
4Cardiomyocyte peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorαis essential for energy metabolism and extracellular matrix homeostasis during pressure overload-induced cardiac remodeling显示文摘Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptorα(PPARα),a ligand-activated nuclear receptor critical for systemic lipid homeostasis,has been shown closely related to cardiac remodeling.However,the roles of cardiomyocyte PPARαin pressure overload-induced cardiac remodeling remains unclear because of lacking a cardiomyocyte-specific Ppara-deficient(Ppara^(ΔCM))mouse model.This study aimed to determine the specific role of cardiomyocyte PPARαin transverse aortic constriction(TAC)-induced cardiac remodeling using an inducible Ppara^(ΔCM) mouse model.Ppara^(ΔCM) and Pparafl/fl mice were randomly subjected to sham or TAC for 2 weeks.Cardiomyocyte PPARαdeficiency accelerated TAC-induced cardiac hypertrophy and fibrosis.Transcriptome analysis showed that genes related to fatty acid metabolism were dramatically downregulated,but genes critical for glycolysis were markedly upregulated in Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts.Moreover,the hypertrophy-related genes,including genes involved in extracellular matrix(ECM)remodeling,cell adhesion,and cell migration,were upregulated in hypertrophic Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts.Western blot analyses demonstrated an increased HIF1αprotein level in hypertrophic Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts.PET/CT analyses showed an enhanced glucose uptake in hypertrophic Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts.Bioenergetic analyses further revealed that both basal and maximal oxygen consumption rates and ATP production were significantly increased in hypertrophic Pparafl/fl hearts;however,these increases were markedly blunted in Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts.In contrast,hypertrophic Ppara^(ΔCM) hearts exhibited enhanced extracellular acidification rate(ECAR)capacity,as reflected by increased basal ECAR and glycolysis but decreased glycolytic reserve.These results suggest that cardiomyocyte PPARαis crucial for the homeostasis of both energy metabolism and ECM during TAC-induced cardiac remodeling,thus providing new insights into potential therapeutics of cardiac remodeling-related diseases.Xia Wang Xin-xin Zhu Shi-yu Jiao Dan Qi Bao-qi Yu Guo-min Xie Ye Liu Yan-ting Song Qing Xu Qing-bo Xu Frank JGonzalez Jie Du Xiao-min Wang Ai-juan Qu 2022Acta Pharmacologica Sinica2022,43,5:3
5Stochastic DoS Attack Allocation Against Collaborative Estimation in Sensor Networks显示文摘In this paper,denial of service(DoS)attack management for destroying the collaborative estimation in sensor networks and minimizing attack energy from the attacker perspective is studied.In the communication channels between sensors and a remote estimator,the attacker chooses some channels to randomly jam DoS attacks to make their packets randomly dropped.A stochastic power allocation approach composed of three steps is proposed.Firstly,the minimum number of channels and the channel set to be attacked are given.Secondly,a necessary condition and a sufficient condition on the packet loss probabilities of the channels in the attack set are provided for general and special systems,respectively.Finally,by converting the original coupling nonlinear programming problem to a linear programming problem,a method of searching attack probabilities and power to minimize the attack energy is proposed.The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is verified by simulation examples.Ya Zhang Lishuang Du Frank L.Lewis 2020IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2020,7,5:2
