1Characterizing the antibiotic resistance genes in a river catchment: Influence of anthropogenic activities显示文摘Previous studies on environmental antibiotics resistance genes(ARGs) have focused on the pollution sources such as wastewater treatment plants, aquaculture and livestock farms,etc. Few of them had addressed this issue in a regional scale such as river catchment. Hence,the occurrence and abundances of 23 ARGs were investigated in surface water samples collected from 38 sites which located from the river source to estuary of the Beijiang River.Among them, 11 ARGs were frequently detected in this region and 5 ARGs(sul I, sul II, tet B,tet C, and tet W) were selected for their distribution pattern analysis. The abundances of the selected ARGs were higher in the upstream(8.70 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) and downstream areas(3.17 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA) than those in the midstream areas(1.23 × 10~6 copies/ng DNA), which was positively correlated to the population density and number of pollution sources. Pollution sources of ARGs along the Beijiang River not only had a great impact on the abundances and diversity, but also on the distribution of specific ARGs in the water samples. Both sul I and sul II were likely originated from aquaculture farms and animal farms,tet W gene was possibly associated with the mining/metal melting industry and the electric waste disposal and tet C gene was commonly found in the area with multiple pollution sources.However, the abundance of tet B was not particularly related to anthropogenic impacts. 3A Reduced Reachability Tree for a Class of Unbounded Petri Nets显示文摘As a powerful analysis tool of Petri nets, reachability trees are fundamental for systematically investigating many characteristics such as boundedness, liveness and reversibility.This work proposes a method to generate a reachability tree,called ω RT for short, for a class of unbounded generalized nets called ω-independent nets based on new modified reachability trees(NMRTs). ω RT can effectively decrease the number of nodes by removing duplicate and ω-duplicate nodes in the tree, and verify properties such as reachability, liveness and deadlocks.Two examples are provided to show its superiority over NMRTs in terms of tree size.Shouguang Wang Mengdi Gan Mengchu Zhou Dan You 2015IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2015,2,4:2
4Studies on reaction mechanisms and distinct chemiluminescence from cyanoimino neonicotinoids triggered by peroxymonosulfate in advanced oxidation processes显示文摘In this study, we proposed a novel method to investigate the advanced oxidation process of neonicotinoids(NNIs) from the perspective of concomitant chemiluminescence(CL) reaction. It was found that in the presence of cobalt ions with cyanoimino NNIs, acetamiprid(ACE) and thiacloprid(THI), could promote peroxymonosulfate and Ru(bpy)_(3)^(2+) to produce strong CL, but no CL occurred with nitro-involved NNIs as alternatives. Experimental dada from UV absorption spectra and chemiluminescence spectra suggested that new cyclic compounds might be formed during the reaction. Based on the results of free radical scavenging experiment and mass spectra, a new degradation and reaction mechanism of cyanoiminocontaining NNIs was proposed. ACE or THI were first attacked by SO_(4)^(·-) to form benzyl radicals, which in turn reacted with the carbon atoms of cyano group through electrophilic addition reaction in the formation of intramolecular ring. Then a redox reaction between Ru(bpy)_(3)^(3+) and imino group immediately took place with CL emission(610 nm).
