| 4 | METASTABLE STATE TRANSFOR MATIONS OF Al_3Ti BASE ALLOYS DURING MECHANICAL MILLING AND SUBSEQUENT ANNEALING显示文摘Developing multi phase alloy is an effective approach for the strengthening and toughening of the L1 2 Al 3Ti alloy. A Nb modified Al 3Ti base alloy which has a L1 2 matrix and the precipitated second phase has been developed. Since the effect of second phase is strongly influenced by its size and distribution, high energy ball milling was employed to fabricate the alloy in comparison with the conventional casting process. It was found that structure evolution during mechanical milling is different for DO 22 , L1 2 and L1 2+DO 22 two phase alloys. The DO 22 Al 3Ti transformed only to a FCC structure even after long time milling. The ordering of L1 2 Al 67 Ti 25 Mn 8 decreased quickly and changed into a FCC structure after short time milling, subsequent milling led to the amorphous transition. The DO 22 phase in Al 3Ti Mn Nb alloys dissolved into the L1 2 matrix quickly in the early stage of milling and the matrix changed into a FCC supersaturated solid solution after 10 h milling, further milling led to the amorphous transition. Reordering of the metastable structures occurred during the annealing process. | 5 | Deformation and Dislocation Structure in L1_2 Titanium Trialuminide Alloys显示文摘The deformation behaviour and the nature of dislocations of the Al3Ti-base L12 alloya modified with Fe and Mn etc, were investigated. The results show that the deformation and fracture character istics are closely related to the alloy compositions. The effect of hot-working process on the room tem perature ductility is remarkable, not only resulting in an appreciable improvement of compressive properties but also showing a 0.28% plastic strain in tensile test. The SISF dissociation of a < 110>dislocations on {111} planes was found at room temperature. | 6 | Resistance of Tribolium castaneum to Phosphine and the Relationship between Complete Lethal Concentration and Exposure Time of Phosphine in Hainan Province显示文摘[Objective] The paper was to investigate the resistance of Tribolium castaneum to phosphine in Hainan Province. [Method] Using the measurement method of phosphine resistance of stored grain pests recommended by FAO,the phosphine resistance of eight strains of T. castaneum adults in Hainan Province was determined. [Result] The resistance coefficients of different strains of T. castaneum against phosphine ranged from 612 to 1 045,and all strains reached extremely high resistance level( Rf > 160). When the concentration of phosphine was 200 mL/m^3,Rf612,Rf826. 4 and Rf1045 strains had complete lethal time of 8,9 and 11 d,respectively. | 12 | Nonlinear wave in granular systems based on elastoplastic dashpot model显示文摘The dynamic dashpot models are widely used in EDEM commercial software.However,most dashpot models suffer from a serious numerical issue in calculating the granular chain because the denominator of damping force includes the initial impact velocity.Moreover,the existing dynamic dashpot models extended from the original Hertz contact law overestimated the contact stiffness in the elastoplastic contact phase.These two reasons above result in most dynamic dashpot models confronting some issues in calculating the multiple collision of the granular chain.Therefore,this investigation aims to propose a new composite dynamic dashpot model for the dynamic simulation of granular matters.First,the entire contact process is divided into three different phases:elastic,elastoplastic,and full plastic phases.The Hertz contact stiffness is still used in the elastic contact phase when the contact comes into the elastoplastic or full plastic phase.Hertz contact stiffness in the dynamic dashpot model is replaced by linearizing the contact stiffness from the Ma‐Liu(ML)model in each time step.Second,the whole contact behavior is treated as a linear mass‐spring‐damper model,and the damping factor is obtained by solving the single‐degree‐freedom underdamped vibration equation.The new dynamic dashpot model is proposed by combining the contact stiffnesses in different contact phases and corresponding damping factors,which not only removes the initial im-pact velocity from the denominator of damping force but also updates the contact stiffness based on the constitutive relation of the contact body when the contact comes into the elastoplastic or full plastic phase.Finally,a granular chain is treated as numerical examples to check the reasonability and effectiveness of the new dynamic dashpot model by comparing it to the experimental data.The simulation shows that the solitary waves obtained using the new dashpot model are more accurate than the dashpot model used in EDEM software. | Gengxiang Wang Caishan Liu | 2021 | International Journal of Mechanical System Dynamics2021,1,1: | 0 |
