1Characterization of particle size distribution of mainstream cigarette smoke generated by smoking machine with an electrical low pressure impactor显示文摘Cigarette smoking is a particle-related exposure. Studying the characteristics of the particle size distribution of cigarette smoke can aid in providing knowledge of smoke aerosol attributes. We used an electrical low pressure impactor(ELPI) to measure the particle size distribution of mainstream cigarette smoke generated by a smoking machine and provided a continuum of particle sizes of cigarette smoke from a whole cigarette. The results showed that the aerodynamic diameters(D, geometric mean of a channel) of particles ranged from 0.021 to 1.956 μm, and the number concentrations were on the order of 105–109cm-3for different sizes of particles. The particle number of the size category below 0.1 μm approximated that of the category 0.1–2.0 μm, and the particles in the size category of 0.1–2.0 μm contributed extremely heavily to total particulate mass. 4The role of bacteria and its derived biomaterials in cancer radiotherapy显示文摘Bacteria-mediated anti-tumor therapy has received widespread attention due to its natural tumor-targeting ability and specific immune-activation characteristics.It has made significant progress in breaking the limitations of monotherapy and effectively eradicating tumors,especially when combined with traditional therapy,such as radiotherapy.According to their different biological characteristics,bacteria and their derivatives can not only improve the sensitivity of tumor radiotherapy but also protect normal tissues.Moreover,genetically engineered bacteria and bacteria-based biomaterials have further expanded the scope of their applications in radiotherapy.In this review,we have summarized relevant researches on the application of bacteria and its derivatives in radiotherapy in recent years,expounding that the bacteria,bacterial derivatives and bacteria-based biomaterials can not only directly enhance radiotherapy but also improve the anti-tumor effect by improving the tumor microenvironment(TME)and immune effects.Furthermore,some probiotics can also protect normal tissues and organs such as intestines from radiation via anti-inflammatory,anti-oxidation and apoptosis inhibition.In conclusion,the prospect of bacteria in radiotherapy will be very extensive,but its biological safety and mechanism need to be further evaluated and studied.Yu Zhang Ruizhe Huang Yunchun Jiang Wenhao Shen Hailong Pei Guanglin Wang Pei Pei Kai Yang 2023Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2023,13,10:0
5A Brief Introduction to the Seismotectonic Map of Xinjiang and Its Neighborhood显示文摘This paper briefly introduces the Seismotectonic Map of Xinjiang and its neighborhood in the scale of 1∶2500000.The map is amended,supplemented and expanded based of the newly compiled Seismotectonic Map of Xinjiang in scale 1∶1000000.The base map of this seismotectonic map is the geologic map of western China and its neighborhood compiled by Li Tingdong.The abundant new materials from related research,referential literatures and the analyses on remote sensing data were used in the compiling work.A database and relevant documents are built for nearly 300 active faults and 150 active folds.The basic information of the major active faults,especially those near the border areas in this map are introduced in this paper.Shen Jun Bai Meixiang Shi Guanglin 2013Earthquake Research in China2013,27,3:0
