| 2 | Influence of Cr^(3+) Concentration on SO_2 Removal over TiO_2 Based Multi-walled Carbon Nanotubes显示文摘In this study, titanium dioxide supported by multi-walled carbon nano tubes(MWCNTs/TiO_2) and Cr-doped TiO_2 supported by MWCNTs(MWNTs/Cr-TiO_2) were synthesized by the sol-gel method. The prepared samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, the BrunauerEmmett-Teller analysis, and the Raman spectroscopy. The oxidation and efficiency for removal of SO_2 in a simulated flue gas were investigated experimentally in a fixed-bed reactor. The 15% MWCNTs/Cr-Ti02 sample displayed excellent adsorption properties, and a SO_2 removal rate equating to 30.415 1 mg/g from the simulated flue gas containing 2 300 μg/g of SO_2, 8% of 02, and 5% of H20 was achieved under optimal conditions covering a temperature of 333.15 K, and a space velocity of 1 275 h^(-1). The adsorption process was enhanced because Cr doping modified the pore structure and inhibited the grain growth of TiO_2. In addition, the Freundlich and Langmuir models revealed that SO_2 was mainly adsorbed through chemical adsorption on the sample surfaces, and the thermodynamic model analysis indicated that the adsorption was a spontaneous, exothermic, and entropy-reducing process. The adsorption kinetics of SO_2 can be described by the pseudosecond-order kinetic and the Bangham dynamics models. | 3 | Association of single nucleotide polymorphisms of brain-derived neurotrophic factor gene and multidrug resistance 1 gene to refractory epilepsy in Chinese Han children显示文摘BACKGROUND:There are two hypotheses for the underlying cause of refractory epilepsy:'target'and'transport'.Studies have shown that brain-derived neurotrophic factor(BDNF) is over-expressed in refractory epilepsy.Multidrug resistance 1(MDR1) gene encodes for P-glycoprotein,the primary ATP-binding cassette transporter in the human body.Some single nucleotide polymorphisms of the MDR1 gene have been associated with refractory epilepsy. OBJECTIVE:To investigate the association between BDNF gene C270T polymorphism and MDR1 T-129C polymorphism with refractory epilepsy in Chinese Han children through the use of polymerase chain reaction(PCR)-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A case-control,genetic association study was performed at the Central Laboratory,Third Xiangya Hospital of Central South University from June 2005 to November 2007. PARTICIPANTS:A total of 84 cases of unrelated children with epilepsy,including 41 cases of refractory epilepsy and 43 cases of drug-responsive epilepsy,were enrolled.An additional 30 healthy,Chinese Han children,whose ages and gender matched the refractory epilepsy patients, were selected as normal controls. METHODS:Venous blood was collected and genomic DNA was extracted from the blood specimens.C270T polymorphism in BDNF gene and T-129C polymorphism in MDR1 gene were genotyped using PCR-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis.Association analysis using the Ftest and Chi-square test was statistically performed between C270T polymorphism in BDNF gene and T-129C polymorphism in MDR1 gene and refractory epilepsy. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The distribution of genotypes and allele frequencies of C270T polymorphism in BDNF gene and T-129C polymorphism in MDR1 gene. RESULTS:The distribution of CC,CT,and TT genotypes,as well as C and T allele frequencies,in the BDNF gene was not significantly different between the refractory epilepsy group, drug-responsive epilepsy group,or the normal control group(P>0.05).The distribution of TT genotype and T allele frequencies of the MDR1 gene was significantly different in the refractory epilepsy group compared with the drug-responsive epilepsy and normal control groups(P<0.05). Comparison of haplotype combinations demonstrated that there were no significant differences in combinations of TT+CC,TT+CT,TC+CC,and TC+CT among the three groups(P>0.05). | 5 | A Simplified Numerical Approach for the Prediction of Rainfall-Induced Retrogressive Landslides显示文摘Retrogressive landslides are common geological phenomena in mountainous areas and on onshore and offshore slopes. The impact of retrogressive landslides is different from that of other landslide types due to the phenomenon of retrogression. The hazards caused by retrogressive landslides may be increased because retrogressive landslides usually affect housing, facilities, and infrastructure located far from the original slopes. Additionally, substantial geomorphic evidence shows that the abundant supply of loose sediment in the source area of a debris flow is usually provided by retrogressive landslides that are triggered by the undercutting of water. Moreover, according to historic case studies, some large landslides are the evolution result of retrogressive landslides. Hence the ability to understand and predict the evolution of retrogressive landslides is crucial for the purpose of hazard mitigation. This paper discusses the phenomenon of a retrogressive landslide by using a model experiment and suggests a reasonably simplified numerical approach for the prediction of rainfall-induced retrogressive landslides. The simplified numerical approach, which combines the finite element method for seepage analysis, the shear strength reduction finite element method, and the analysis criterion for the retrogression and accumulation effect, is presented and used to predict the characteristics of a retrogressive landslide. The results show that this numerical approach is capable of reasonably predicting the characteristics of retrogressive landslides under rainfall infiltration, particularly the magnitude of each landslide, the position of the slip surface, and the development processes of the retrogressive landslide. | 8 | Primary Mg_(2)Si phase and Mg_(2)Si/α-Mg interface modified by Sn and Sb elements in a Mg-5Sn-2Si-1.5Al-1Zn-0.8Sb alloy显示文摘The microstructure of primary Mg_(2)Si and the interface of Mg_(2)Si/α-Mg modified by Sn and Sb elements in an as-cast Mg-5Sn-2Si-1.5Al-1Zn-0.8Sb(wt.%) alloy were investigated.In the primary Mg_(2)Si phase not only the Si atoms but also the Mg atoms could be substituted by Sn and Sb atoms,resulting in the slightly reduced lattice constant a of 0.627 nm.An OR of Mg_(2)Si phase and α-Mg in the form of[001]Mg_(2)Si‖[01■1]α,(220)Mg_(2)Si‖(0■12)αwas discovered.Between primary Mg_(2)Si phase and α-Mg matrix two transitional nano-particle layers were formed.In the rim region of primary Mg_(2)Si particle,Mg_(2)Sn precipitates sizing from 5 nm to 50 nm were observed.Adjacent to the boundary of primary Mg_(2)Si particle,luxuriant columnar crystals of primary Mg_(2)Sn phase with width of about 25 nm and length of about100 nm were distributed on the α-Mg matrix.The lattice constant of the Mg_(2)Sn precipitate in primary Mg_(2)Si particle was about 0.756 nm.Three ORs between Mg_(2)Sn and Mg_(2)Si were found,in which the Mg_(2)Sn precipitates had strong bonding interfaces with Mg_(2)Si phase.Three new minor ORs between Mg_(2)Sn phase and α-Mg were found.The lattice constant of primary Mg_(2)Sn phase was enlarged to 0.813 nm owing to the solution of Sn and Sb atoms.Primary Mg_(2)Sn had edge-to-edge interfaces with α-Mg.Therefore,the primary Mg_(2)Si particle and α-Mg were united and the interfacial adhesion was improved by the two nano-particles layers of Mg_(2)Sn phase. | Wenpeng Yang Ying Wang Hongbao Cui Guangxin Fan Xuefeng Guo | 2022 | Journal of Magnesium and Alloys2022,10,11: | 1 |

| 10 | Elite sd1 alleles in japonica rice and their breeding applications in northeast China显示文摘The Green Revolution gene sd1 has been used extensively in modern rice breeding,especially in indica cultivars.However,elite sd1 alleles and related germplasm resources used for japonica rice breeding have not been identified,and extensive efforts are needed for japonica rice breeding to obtain new dwarfing sources.Data from MBKbase-Rice revealed seven sd1 haplotypes in indica and four in japonica rice.Two new sd1 alleles were identified in indica rice.In 295 japonica accessions from northeast Asia,except for the weak functional allele SD1-EQ,sd1-r was the major allele,reducing plant height in comparison with SD1-EQ.Japonica germplasm resources carrying reported sd1 alleles were identified by genotype searching and further verified by literature search,genealogical analysis,and d Caps markers.Pedigrees and geographic distribution showed that sd1-r is an excellent allele widely used in northern China and Tohoku in Japan,and sd1-j is commonly used in east China and Kyushu in Japan.Dongnong-and Xiushui-series cultivars carrying sd1-r and sd1-j,respectively,are essential branches of the backbone parents of Chinese japonica rice,Akihikari and Ce21,with the largest number of descendants and derived generations.In semi-dwarf japonica rice breeding,sd1-d was introgressed into Daohuaxiang 2(DHX2).Dwarf and semi-dwarf lines carrying sd1-d were selected and designated as 1279 and 1280,respectively,after withstanding typhoon-induced strong winds and heavy rains in 2020,and are anticipated to become useful intermediate materials for future genetic research and breeding.This work will facilitate the introduction,parental selection,and marker-assisted breeding,and provide a material basis for the next step in identifying favorable genes that selected together with the sd1 alleles in japonica backbone parents. | Hanjing Sha Hualong Liu Guangxin Zhao Zhongmin Han Huilin Chang Jingguo Wang Hongliang Zheng Jifeng Zhang Yang Yu Yuqiang Liu Detang Zou Shoujun Nie Jun Fang | 2022 | The Crop Journal2022,10,1: | 0 |

| 13 | Different dietary starch patterns in lowprotein diets:effect on nitrogen efficiency,nutrient metabolism,and intestinal flora in growing pigs显示文摘Background:Protein releases amino acids faster than starch releases glucose in digestive tract of pigs fed lowprotein(LP)diets.Poor synchronization of dietary glucose and amino acids supply leads to compromised nitrogen efficiency.Dietary starch patterns modulation may improve this situation.Methods:Growing barrows(29.7±2.0 kg)were randomly allotted into 5 dietary treatments with LP diets consisting of different purified starches.Treatments included:waxy corn starch(W LP),corn starch+waxy corn starch(C+W LP),corn starch(C LP),pea starch+waxy corn starch(P+W LP)and pea starch(P LP).In the experiment,growth performance,protein deposition,nutrient metabolism,and fecal microbial community of pigs were investigated.In vitro starch digestion was used for predicting the in vivo glucose response.Results:Dietary starch in vitro glucose release profile was determined by starch source and the ratio of amylopectin and amylose.C+W LP treatment showed decreased total nitrogen excretion and plasma citrulline concentration and improved plasma leptin concentration among treatments(P<0.05).Besides,the highest nitrogen apparent biological value,whole-body protein deposition and growth performance and lowest urinary nitrogen excretion were also observed in C+W LP treatment.Compared with the other groups,C+W LP and C LP showed increased plasma pyruvate,IGF-1,and lipase concentrations(P<0.05).The W LP group presented dramatically increased plasma alanine and urea nitrogen concentration and decreased aldolase and leptin concentrations(P<0.05).Dietary starch patterns did not make an impact on bacterial richness and diversity,but changed the taxonomic and functional structures of the microbial communities.Microbial protein fermentation product(isobutyrate and isovalerate)presented increased in P LP treatments compared with the other treatments(P<0.05).Conclusions:Dietary starch patterns modulation can regulate dietary glucose release profile,nutrient metabolism,protein turnover,and fecal microbial fermentation in pigs.The optimal dietary glucose release profile effectively strengthened whole-body protein deposition and improve nitrogen efficiency and growth performance in growing pigs fed LP diets. | Junyan Zhou Lu Wang Lijie Yang Guangxin Yang Xiangfang Zeng Shiyan Qiao | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 0 |
| 14 | Identifying Key Environmental Factors Influencing Spatial Variation of Water Quality in Upper Shitoukoumen Reservoir Basin in Jilin Province,China显示文摘Based on the observed data in monitored drainage areas and GIS spatial analysis tools,watershed basic database of Shitoukoumen Reservoir Basin was built.The multivariate analysis and redundancy analysis(RDA) were used to analyze the spatial and temporal variations of water quality,identify the key environmental factors and their patterns influencing the spatial variation of water quality,and determine the main types and forms of the non-point source(NPS) pollutant export controlled by the key environmental factors.The results show that different patterns of environmental factors lead to great changes in water quality at spatial and seasonal scales.All selected environmental factors explain 64.5% and 68.2% of the spatial variation of water quality over dry season and rainy season,respectively,which shows clear seasonal difference.Over dry season,residential land is the most important environmental factor,which possesses 35.4% of the spatial variation,and drainage area is the second key environmental factor,which possesses 17.0% of spatial variation in the total variance.Over rainy season,slope length and drainage area are the key environmental factors,which possess 29.3% of the spatial variation together.Residential land influences nitrogen export by changing NH4+-N and particulate organic nitrogen(PON) discharge over dry season,and drainage area controls phosphorus export by regulating dissolved phosphorus(DP) drainage over dry season and phosphorus associated particulate(PAP) loss over rainy season,respectively.Although slope length is an important environmental factor,it does not influence NPS pollutant export.It is interesting that soil organic matter,as a minor environmental factor,highly determines phosphorus and nitrogen export by enhancing the DP,PAP and PON loss. | TANG Yanling ZHANG Guangxin YANG Yuesuo GAO Yingzhi | 2009 | Chinese Geographical Science2009,19,4: | 0 |

Then, the concept of TOPSIS is used to determine the positive and negative ideal points of the WDP according to bid prices, the technical and business experts' evaluation information. Further, the closeness coefficient of each bidder(candidate supplier) is obtained by calculating the distances to the positive and negative ideal points. Thus,the winning supplier can be determined according to the closeness coefficients. The composition and structure of the catalysts were characterized by means of IR, TPD, TPR, chemical analysis and so on. The catalytic performance for NO reduction was investigated. The results show that the mixed oxides have K2NiF4 structure. Other phases are found when x=1.2. The amount of Co 3+ and the lattice oxygen over Nd 2-x SrxCoO 4±λ increase with the increase of x.
