| 1 | The mass and heat transfer process through the door seal of refrigeration显示文摘As one of the main reasons causing leakage heat load in a refrigerator,mass and heat transfer through refrigerator door seal is of great importance to be studied.In this paper,a model is presented for numerical simulation of mass and heat transfer process through refrigerator door seal,and an experiment apparatus is designed and set up as well for comparison.A two-dimensional model and tracer gas method are used in simulation and experiment,respectively.It can be found that the relative deviations of air infiltration rate between the simulated results and experimental results were less than 1%,and the temperature difference errors at two special points of the door seal were less than 2.03℃.In conclusion,the simulated results are in good agreement with the experimental results.This paper initially sets up a model that can accurately simulate the heat and mass transfer through the refrigerator door seal,and the model can be used in refrigerator door seal optimization research in the follow-up study. | Haoshu Tan Xinzhou Song Ying Zhang Maogang He | 2017 | Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2017,25,8: | 3 |

| 8 | Selection and Evaluation of Dry and Isentropic Organic Working Fluids Used in Organic Rankine Cycle Based on the Turning Point on Their Saturated Vapor Curves显示文摘The organic Rankine cycle(ORC)is a popular technique used in the utilization of low-grade thermal energy.Among wet,dry,and isentropic organic working fluids,the latter two types are more appropriate for ORC systems.In this paper,the definition of turning point on saturated vapor curve of dry fluid and isentropic fluid was given according to the shape of the saturated curve of working fluids in a T-s diagram.On this basis,the model of near-critical region triangle was established.Using this model,the thermodynamic performance of 57 kinds of dry and isentropic organic working fluids in ORC was evaluated.The performance includes the relation between turning point temperature and cycle thermal efficiency,the relation between near-critical region triangle area and cycle thermal efficiency,the relation between near-critical region triangle area and exergy at turning point temperature,the relation between near-critical region triangle area and reciprocal value of slope of saturated vapor curve.Moreover,working fluid selection was also conducted in terms of heat source type.It was found through theoretical analysis results that the popular R123 is an acceptable choice especially for the utilization of closed type heat source.Considering it will be phased out in near future,then cis-butene,butane,trans-butene,and isobutene are worth studying as its successor.Dodecane is worthy of attention and further research and it can be a good choice for utilization of open type heat source. | ZHANG Xinxin ZHANG Congtian HE Maogang WANG Jingfu | 2019 | Journal of Thermal Science2019,28,4: | 1 |

| 12 | Thermodynamic and Economic Studies of a Combined Cycle for Waste Heat Recovery of Marine Diesel Engine显示文摘In the present study,the thermodynamic and economic performance of a combined thermodynamic cycle formed by an ORC and a Kalina cycle,which can simultaneously recover waste heat of exhaust gas and cooling water of marine engine,has been analyzed.Two typical marine engines are selected to be the waste heat source.Six economic indicators are used to analyze the economic performance of this combined thermodynamic cycle system with different marine engine load and under practical comprehensive operating condition of marine engine.The results of the present study show that the combined thermodynamic cycle system with R123 as organic working fluid has the best performance.The system with cis-butene has the worst economic performance.Under practical comprehensive operating conditions of ships,R123 has the shortest Payback Periods,which are 8.51 years and 8.14 years for 8 S70 ME-C10.5 engine and 5G95 ME-C10.5 engine,respectively.Correspondingly,payback Periods of Cyclopentane are 11.95 years and 11.90 years.The above values are much shorter than 25 years which are the lifetime of a marine ship.Under practical comprehensive operating conditions of ships,the combined cycle system can provide output power which is at least equivalent to 25%of engine power.Considering that R123 will be phased out in near future,cyclopentane may be its good successor.Cyclopentane can be used safely by correct handling and installing according to manufacturer's instructions. | ZHANG Xinxin CAO Min HE Maogang WANG Jingfu | 2022 | Journal of Thermal Science2022,31,2: | 0 |

| 14 | Crystalline order and disorder in dusty plasmas investigated by nonequilibrium molecular dynamics simulations显示文摘The particle structure of a complex system has been explored through a unique Evans' s homogenous nonequilibrium molecular dynamics(HNEMD) simulation technique. The crystalline order–disorder structures(OD-structures) and the corresponding energies of three-dimensional(3 D) nonideal complex systems(NICSs) have been measured over a wide range of plasma states(■, κ) for a body-centered cubic(BCC) structure. The projected technique provides accurate ODstructures with fast convergence and applicable to very small size effect for different temperatures(≡ 1/■) and constant force field(F~*) values. The OD-structure obtained through HNEMD approach is found to be reasonable agreement and more reliable than those earlier identified by simulation approaches and experimental data of NICSs. New simulations of OD-structures show that dusty plasma remains in crystalline(strongly coupled) state at lower temperature and constant F*values, for the whole simulation runs. Our investigations show that the crystalline structure is changed and the particle structure switches from intermediate to disorder(nonideal gaseous) state with an increase of the system's temperature. It has been shown that the long range order shifts toward lower temperature with increasing κ.
