| 1 | 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents显示文摘Syncope belongs to the transient loss of consciousness(TLOC), characterized by a rapid onset, short duration, and spontaneous complete recovery. It is common in children and adolescents, accounting for 1% to 2% of emergency department visits.Recurrent syncope can seriously affect children's physical and mental health, learning ability and quality of life and sometimes cardiac syncope even poses a risk of sudden death. The present guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was developed for guiding a better clinical management of pediatric syncope. Based on the globally recent development and the evidence-based data in China, 2018 Chinese Pediatric Cardiology Society(CPCS) guideline for diagnosis and treatment of syncope in children and adolescents was jointly prepared by the Pediatric Cardiology Society, Chinese Pediatric Society, Chinese Medical Association(CMA)/Committee on Pediatric Syncope, Pediatricians Branch, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Committee on Pediatric Cardiology, Chinese College of Cardiovascular Physicians, Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA)/Pediatric Cardiology Society, Beijing Pediatric Society, Beijing Medical Association(BMA). | 2 | Function of note strings in Japanese Tit alarm calls to the Common Cuckoo:a playback experiment显示文摘Background: Birds produce alarm calls to convey information about threats. Some Passerine alarm calls consist of several note strings, but few studies have examined their function. Previous studies have shown that Japanese Tits(Parus minor) can alter the calling rate and number and combination of notes in response to predators. We previously found the combinations of note types in Japanese Tit alarm calls to be significantly different in response to the Sparrowhawk(Accipiter nisus) and Common Cuckoo(Cuculus canorus).Methods: Through playback experiments, we tested whether the note strings in Japanese Tit alarm calls to the Common Cuckoo have different functions in conveying information. The note strings of selected alarm calls were divided into the categories of C and D, and different calls were then constructed separately based on the two note string categories. Original alarm calls(C–D), C calls and D calls were played back to male Japanese Tits during the incubation period.Results: Male Japanese Tits had a significantly stronger response to C calls than to C–D calls, and they showed a significantly stronger response to both C and C–D calls than to D calls, suggesting that Japanese Tits discriminated between the C and D calls.Conclusions: Our study demonstrated that the C-and D-category note strings of Japanese Tit alarm calls to the Common Cuckoo have different functions, which supports the previous finding that different note strings in an alarm call can provide different information to receivers. | 3 | Flexible lead-free BFO-based dielectric capacitor with large energy density,superior thermal stability,and reliable bending endurance显示文摘As an essential energy-stored device,the inorganic dielectric film capacitor plays an irreplaceable role in high-energy pulse power technology area.In this work,propelled by the challenge of overcoming the bottlenecks of inflexibility and inferior energy storage density of the pure BiFeO3 films,the mica with high bendability and thermal stability is adopted as substrate,and the relaxor ferroelectric(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3) is introduced to form solid solution to introduce relaxor behavior.The subsequently fabricated 0.3Bi(Fe_(0.95)Mn_(0.05))O_(3)-0.7(Sr_(0.7)Bi_(0.2))TiO_(3)(BFMO-SBT)thin film capacitor exhibits a high recoverable energy storage density(W_(rec)=61 J cm^(-3))and a high efficiency(η=75%)combined with a fast discharging rate(23.5 μs)due to the large polarization difference(ΔP=59.4 μC cm^(-2)),high breakdown strength(E_(b)=3000 kV cm^(-1)),and the strong relaxor dispersion(γ=1.78).Of particular importance is the capacitor presents excellent stability of energy storage performance,including a wide working temperature window of -50-200℃,fatigue endurance of 108 cycles,and frequency range of 500 Hz-20 kHz.Furthermore,there are no obviously deteriorations on energy storage capability under various bending states and after 104 times of mechanical bending cycles.All these results indicate that BFMO-SBT on mica film capacitor has potential application in the future flexible electronics. | Changhong Yang Jin Qian Panpan Lv Haitao Wu Xiujuan Lin Kun Wang Jun Ouyang Shifeng Huang Xin Cheng Zhenxiang Cheng | 2020 | Journal of Materiomics2020,6,1: | 4 |

| 5 | High-entropy ferroelastic(10RE_(0.1))TaO_(4) ceramics with oxygen vacancies and improved thermophysical properties显示文摘The primary purpose of this work is to optimize the thermophysical properties of rare-earth tan-talate ceramics using the high-entropy effect.Here,the high-entropy rare-earth tantalate ceramic(Y_(0.1)Nd_(0.1)Sm_(0.1)Gd_(0.1)Dy_(0.1)Ho_(0.1)Er_(0.1)Tm_(0.1)Yb_(0.1)Lu_(0.1))TaO_(4)((10RE_(0.1))TaO_(4))is synthesized successfully.The lat-tice distortion and oxygen vacancy concentration are characterized firstly in the rare-earth tantalates.Notably,compared with single rare-earth tantalates,the thermal conductivity of(10RE_(0.1))TaO_(4) is reduced by 16%-45%at 100℃ and 22%-45%at 800℃,and it also presents lower phonon thermal conductivity in the entire temperature range from 100 to 1200℃.The phonon thermal conductivity(1.0-2.2 W m^(-1) K^(-1),100-1200℃)of(10RE_(0.1))TaO_(4) is lower than that of the currently reported high-entropy four-,five-and six-component rare-earth tantalates.This is the result of scattering by the ferroelastic domain,lattice distortion associated with size and mass disorder,and point defects,which target low-,mid-and high-frequency phonons.Furthermore,(10RE_(0.1))TaO_(4),as an improved candidate for thermal barrier coatings materials(TBCs),has a higher thermal expansion coefficient(10.5×10^(-6)K^(-1) at 1400℃),lower Young’s modulus(123 GPa)and better high-temperature phase stability than that of single rare-earth tantalates. | Jun Wang Xiaoyu Chong Liang Lv Yuncheng Wang Xiaolan Ji Haitao Yun Jing Feng | 2023 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,26: | 4 |
| 6 | miR395-regulated sulfate metabolism exploits pathogen sensitivity to sulfate to boost immunity in rice显示文摘MicroRNAs (miRNAs) play important roles in plant physiological activities. However, their roles and molecular mechanisms in boosting plant immunity, especially through the modulation of macronutrient metabolism in response to pathogens, are largely unknown. Here, we report that an evolutionarily conserved miRNA, miR395, promotes resistance to Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) and X. oryzae pv. oryzicola (Xoc), two destructive bacterial pathogens, by regulating sulfate accumulation and distribution in rice. Specifically, miR395 targets and suppresses the expression of the ATP sulfurylase gene OsAPS1, which functions in sulfate assimilation, and two sulfate transporter genes, OsSULTR2;1 and OsSULTR2;2, which function in sulfate translocation, to promote sulfate accumulation, resulting in broad-spectrum resistance to bacterial pathogens in miR395-overexpressing plants. Genetic analysis revealed that miR395-triggered resistance is involved in both pathogen-associated molecular pattern-triggered immunity and R gene-mediated resistance. Moreover, we found that accumulated sulfate but not S-metabolites inhibits proliferation of pathogenic bacteria, revealing a sulfate-mediated antibacterial defense mechanism that differs from sulfur-induced resistance. Furthermore, compared with other bacteria, Xoo and Xoc, which lack the sulfate transporter CysZ, are sensitive to high levels of extracellular sulfate. Accordingly, miR395-regulated sulfate accumulation impaired the virulence of Xoo and Xoc by decreasing extracellular polysaccharide production and biofilm formation. | 8 | Electropolymerization of cobalt porphyrins and corroles for the oxygen evolution reaction显示文摘Developing large-scale electrocatalysts using molecular complexes for the oxygen evolution reaction(OER)is of great importance. Herein, four cobalt porphyrins and corroles are deposited on electrode substrates using a simple and fast electropolymerization method. Our results showed that Co-1-P@CC, formed by electropolymerizing Co tetrakis(p-N-pyrrolylphenyl)porphyrin(Co-1-P) on carbon cloth(CC), is the most active OER catalyst in the examined Co porphyrins and corroles in alkaline aqueous solutions by displaying an onset overpotential of 380 m V. | 9 | Selenylation Modification of Degraded Polysaccharide from Enteromorpha prolifera and Its Biological Activities显示文摘Polysaccharide extracted from Enteromorpha prolifera possessed excellent biological activities,but its molecular weight was greatly high which influenced the activity.Organic Se had higher biological activities and was safer than inorganic Se species.In the present study,Enteromorpha polysaccharide was degraded to low molecular weight by free-radical degradation method of H_2O_2 and ascorbic acid.By single factor and orthogonal experiments,the optimal degradation conditions were reaction time of 2 h,reaction temperature of 50℃,H_2O_2/ascorbic acid(n/n=1:1)concentration of 15 mmol L^(-1),and solid-liquid ratio of 1:50(g mL^(-1)).Then,the degraded polysaccharide was chemically modified to obtain its selenide derivatives by nitric acid-sodium selenite method.The selenium content was 1137.29μg g^(-1),while the content of sulfate radical had no change.IR spectra indicated that the selenite ester group was formed.Degraded polysaccharide selenide was characterized and evaluated for antioxidant,antifungal and antibacterial activities.The results showed that degraded polysaccharide selenide had strong capacity of scavenging DPPH and·OH free radical.It had significant antibacterial properties for Escherichia coli,Bacillus subtilis and Salmonella spp.,and it also had significant antifungal properties for Apple anthrax.The result ascertained degradation and selenylation modification did not change the main structure of polysaccharides.It was possible that free-radical degradation was an effective way for enhancing antioxidant activity to decrease molecular weight of polysaccharides. | LV Haitao DUAN Ke SHAN Hu | 2018 | Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Comparing electrocatalytic hydrogen and oxygen evolution activities of first-row transition metal complexes with similar coordination environments显示文摘Developing cheap and efficient electrocatalysts for water splitting is required for energy conversion techniques.Many first-row transition metal complexes have been shown to be active for the hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)and oxygen evolution reaction(OER).Metal ions play crucial roles in these catalytic processes,but the activity dependence on the nature of metal ions has been rarely studied due to the difficulty to compare metal complexes with different coordination environments.We herein reported the synthesis of a series of metal complexes of azido-substituted porphyrin(1),in which metal ions have very similar coordination environments.By grafting 1-M(M=Mn,Fe,Co,Ni,and Cu)onto alkynefunctionalized carbon nanotubes(CNTs)through the same covalent connection,the resulted hybrids 1-M@CNT were all active and robust for both electrocatalytic HER and OER in alkaline aqueous solutions.Among these hybrids,1-Fe@CNT displayed the highest electrocatalytic activity for HER,while 1-Co@CNT was the most active one for OER.Moreover,a two-electrode water electrolysis cell assembled with 1-Fe@CNT as the cathode and 1-Co@CNT as the anode required smaller applied bias potential by210 mV to get 10 mA/cm^(2)current density as compared to that assembled with Pt/C and Ir/C with the same amount of metal loading.This work is significant to correlate HER and OER activity with the nature of first-row transition metal ions and to highlight promising potential applications of molecular electrocatalysis in water splitting. | Xiaotong Jin Xialiang Li Haitao Lei Kai Guo Bin Lv Hongbo Guo Dandan Chen Wei Zhang Rui Cao | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,12: | 1 |
| 19 | Development of High Intensity Beam Emittance Measurement Unit显示文摘Three sets of High Intensity Beam Emittance Measurement Units (HIBEMUs) are being developed at Peking University. They are HIBEMU-2 (slit-wire type, one direction), HIBEMU-3 (Allison scanner type, one direction) and HIBEMU-4 (slit-wire type, two directions). For HIBEMU-2 and HIBEMU-3, more recent work has been done on software redesign in order to measure beam emittance and to draw phase diagram more efficiently and precisely. Software for control and data processing of them were developed in Labveiw environment, trying to improve calculation rationality and to offer user-friendly interface. Mechanical modification was also done for HIBEMU-3, mainly concentrating on the protection of Faraday cups from being overheated by the high intensity beam and also from interference of secondary electrons. This paper will also cover the mechanical structure as well as the software development of HIBEMU-4, which is a two-direction emittance scanner newly designed and manufactured for the high energy beam transport (HEBT) of Peking University Neutron Imaging FaciliTY (PKUNIFTY). | 20 | Controllable assembly of nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon with different pore structures onto CNTs for excellent lithium storage显示文摘Mesoporous carbon nanomaterials have shown a great application potential in energy storage and conversion fields due to their outstanding conductivity,tunable pore structure,and good chemical stability.Nevertheless,how to accurately control the pore structure,especially directly assembling the mesoporous carbon onto different substrates remains a big challenge.Herein,we have successfully assembled two kinds of highly nitrogen-doped mesoporous carbon onto carbon nanotubes(NMC/CNTs)based on a facile cooperative assembly process assisted by triblock PEO_(20)PPO_(70)PEO_(20)(P123)and PEO_(106)PPO_(70)PEO_(106)(F127)copolymers.The experimental results indicate that the P_(123)/F_(127)mass ratio has a profound effect on the pore structure,leading to the formation of NMC/CNTs composites with spherical pore structure(S-NMC/CNTs)and cylindrical pore structure(CNMC/CNTs).In virtue of fast electron/ion transfer kinetics,the as-prepared S-NMC/CNTs anode demonstrates an excellent electrochemical performance for lithium-ion batteries,and it delivers a high reversible capacity of 588.1 mAh∙g^(−1)at the current of 0.1 A∙g^(−1)after 100 cycles,along with a superior cycling stability.Specifically noted,the controlled assembly route developed in our work can also be applied to other support materials with different structures and compositions. | Haitao Li Xiao Fang Fengting Lv Wei Yu Hui Cheng Haijiao Zhang | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,3: | 0 |
