Kinetics and mechanisms of mitotic inheritance of DNA methylation and their roles in aging-associated methylome deterioration显示文摘Mitotic inheritance of the DNA methylome is a challenging task for the maintenance of cell identity.Whether DNA methylation pattern in different genomic contexts can all be faithfully maintained is an open question.A replication-coupled DNA methylation maintenance model was proposed decades ago,but some observations suggest that a replication-uncoupled maintenance mechanism exists. However, the capacity and the underlying molecular events of replication-uncoupled maintenance are unclear.By measuring maintenance kinetics at the single-molecule level and assessing mutant cells with perturbation of various mechanisms,we found that the kinetics of replication-coupled maintenance are governed by the UHRF1–Ligase 1 and PCNA–DNMT1 interactions, whereas nucleosome occupancy and the interaction between UHRF1 and methylated H3K9 specifically regulate replication-uncoupled maintenance.Surprisingly,replication-uncoupled maintenance is sufficiently robust to largely restore the methylome when replication-coupled maintenance is severely impaired.However,solo-WCGW sites and other CpG sites displaying aging-and cancer-associated hypomethylation exhibit low maintenance efficiency, suggesting that although quite robust, mitotic inheritance of methylation is imperfect and that this imperfection may contribute to selective hypomethylation during aging and tumorigenesis. | Xuan Ming Zhuqiang Zhang Zhuoning Zou Cong Lv Qiang Dong Qixiang He Yangyang Yi Yingfeng Li Hailin Wang Bing Zhu | 2020 | Cell Research2020,30,11: | 4
EMPIRICAL LIKELIHOOD-BASED INFERENCE IN LINEAR MODELS WITH INTERVAL CENSORED DATA显示文摘An empirical likelihood approach to estimate the coefficients in linear model with interval censored responses is developed in this paper.By constructing unbiased transformation of interval censored data,an empirical log-likelihood function with asymptotic χ 2 is derived. The confidence regions for the coefficients are constructed. Some simulation results indicate that the method performs better than the normal approximation method in term of coverage accuracies. | He Qixiang Zheng Ming | 2005 | Applied Mathematics(A Journal of Chinese Universities)2005,20,3: | 3
Prototype test study on mechanical characteristics of segmental lining structure of underwater railway shield tunnel显示文摘Based on the first underwater railway shield tunnel, the Shiziyang shield tunnel of Guangzhou Zhujiang River, the prototype test was carried out against its segmental lining structure by using'multi-function shield tunnel structure test system'. And the mechanical characteristics of segmental lining structure using straight assembling and staggered assembling were studied deeply. The results showed that, the mechanical characteristics of segmental lining structure varied with the water pressures;especially after cracking, the high water pressure played a significant role in slowing down the growing inner force and deformation. It also testified that the failure characteristics varied with straight assembling structure and staggered assembling structure.Shear failure often occurred near longitudinal seam when using straight assembling. | He Chuan Feng Kun Yan Qixiang | 2014 | Engineering Sciences2014,12,2: | 3

Assessment of column aerosol optical properties using ground-based sun-photometer at urban Harbin, Northeast China显示文摘Aerosol plays a key role in determining radiative balance, regional climate and human health.Severe air pollution over Northeast China in recent years urges more comprehensive studies to figure out the adverse effects caused by excessive aerosols. In this study, column aerosol measurements over urban Harbin, a metropolis located at the highest latitude in Northeast China, during May 2016 to March 2017 were conducted using a CIMEL sun-photometer to analyze local aerosol properties and its variation from different aspects. According to the observations, aerosol optical depth at 440 nm(AOD_(440)) ranges from 0.07 up to 1.54, and the large variability in both AOD_(440) and Angstrom Exponent(AE_(440–870)) indicates the frequent change of aerosol types due of different emission sources. Coarse mode particles dominated Harbin during the studying period because of the long-range transported dust and probably the suspended snow crystals in winter. As the wavelength increases, relatively consistent decrease trends of single scattering albedo(SSA) and asymmetry factor(ASY) were observed in spring, autumn, and winter, indicating the presence of absorbing polluted aerosols. Mixed type(MIX) aerosol dominated the study region with a total percentage of 34%, and biomass burning and urban industry(BB/UI), clean continental(CC), and desert dust(DD) aerosols were found to be 31%, 27%, and 8%, respectively. The current work fills up the optical characteristics of aerosols in Harbin, and will contribute to the in-depth understanding of local aerosol variation and regional climate change over Northeast China. | Qixiang Chen Yuan Yuan Xing Huang Zhihong He Heping Tan | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,12: | 2

An experimental study of the isolation performance of trenches on ground-borne vibration from underground tunnels显示文摘This paper presents a study of the isolation performance of trenches on train-induced ground-bore vibration from underground tunnels.A series of model tests was conducted to perform the study. Both train loads and sinusoidal sweep loads were applied to the model tunnel invert by a shaker. The response of the soil at the surface of the ground was measured by accelerometers.Three types of isolation trenches,i.e.,an open trench,an expanded Polystyrene(EPS)-filled trench, and a Duxseal-filled trench, were modelled in the experiment. The results showed that the open trench and the EPS-filled trench increased the dynamic response of the surface soil in front of the trench, but the Duxseal-filled trench had little effect on the dynamic response of the soil on the surface in this area.Although all three types of isolation trenches reduced the response of the soil behind the trench, the open trench and the Duxseal-filled trench were clearly more effective. The test results also showed that,as the excitation frequency increased, the vibration isolation trench was more effective in the near field. The effects of the width, depth, and position of an open trench on isolation performance also were examined in the tests. | Yang Wenbo Shang Yingchao Liu Dexiong Zou Tao Yan Qixiang Fang Yong He Chuan | 2020 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,3: | 1

Centrifuge modelling of ground-borne vibrations induced by railway traffic in underground tunnels显示文摘Increased attention has been given to ground-borne vibrations induced by railway vehicles and to the effects of these vibrations as they propagate through the ground into nearby buildings.Various studies, mainly based on numerical methods as well as physical modelling, have been carried out to investigate this problem. To study the dynamic response of tunnels and the surrounding soil due to train-induced vibration loads,a centrifuge test was conducted with a small-scale model in 1 g and 50 g stress field environments. An aluminum tube was embedded in sand to model the underground tunnel.A small parallel pre-stressed actuator(PPA)was employed to apply vibration loads on the tunnel invert. The model responses were measured using accelerometers. Both time and frequency domain analyzes were performed. The test results demonstrated that electronic noise had a clear impact on the test results and should be eliminated. It also found that the dynamic response of both the tunnel and soil were affected by the stress field. Therefore,it is important to account for the stress field effects when assessing the ground-borne vibration from tunnels. | Yang Wenbo Qian Zhihao Tu Jiulin Zhou Ziyang Yan Qixiang Fang Yong He Chuan | 2022 | Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2022,21,2: | 1
Empirical Likelihood Approach for Treatment Effect in Pretest-Posttest Trial显示文摘The empirical likelihood approach is suggested to the pretest-posttest trial based on the constrains, which we construct to summarize all the given information. The author obtains a log-empirical likelihood ratio test statistic that has a standard chi-squared limiting distribution. Thus,in making inferences, there is no need to estimate variance explicitly, and inferential procedures are easier to implement.Simulation results show that the approach of this paper is more efficient compared with ANCOVA Ⅱ due to the sufficient and appropriate use of information. | Qixiang HE | 2012 | Chinese Annals of Mathematics,Series B2012,33,6: | 0
High-temperature ferromagnetic metallic phase in LaMnO_(3)/Sr_(3)Al_(2)O_(6)heterostructure显示文摘To achieve a flexible single-crystal multifunctional membrane, the freestanding process of a rigid epitaxial transition metal oxide thin film via a buffered water-dissolution sacrificial layer has attracted reasonable attentions.Owing to the difference in chemical potential, specific element affinity, and lattice constant between the target membrane and the sacrificial layer, the freestanding process may cause an indelible change of physics property once the target thin film is sensitive to the above factors. Here, the heterostructures composed of the generally adopted sacrificial layer Sr_(3)Al_(2)O_(6)(SAO)and LaMnO_(3)(LMO)have been systematically investigated. The electrical and magnetic properties of LMO show extreme sensitivity to the thickness of SAO(tSAO).Then we have also found that LMO/SAO heterostructures can exhibit the coexistence of two ferromagnetic phases, the significantly enhanced Curie temperature~342 K,and the large magnetoresistance-23.3%at 300 K,which is similar to the optimal-doped manganite such as La_(2/3)Sr_(1/3)MnO_(3).X-ray diffraction results show that continuously tunable strain from out-of-plane tension to relaxation and then to compression can be generated by adjusting tSAO.This strain can stabilize the migrated oxygen from LMO to SAO,which is induced by the large oxygen affinity difference between Bsite Mn and Al.It is believed that these unexpected electrical/magnetic phenomena are originated from the combined effects of interfacial element diffusion and strain. Our study provides a strategy for designing new magnetic phases, and a reference for the fundamental understanding of strongly correlated transition metal oxide systems in the freestanding process. | Di Wang Bin He Jinrui Guo Qixiang Wang Chaoqun Shi Yue Han Hong Fang Jie Wang Nana Zhang Peng Zhang Yanan Chen Changwen Zhang Weiming Lü Shishen Yan | 2022 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2022,,24: | 0
