| 1 | Chimeric antigen receptor-modified T cells for the immunotherapy of patients with EGFR-expressing advanced relapsed/refractory non-small cell lung cancer显示文摘The successes achieved by chimeric antigen receptor-modified T(CAR-T) cells in hematological malignancies raised the possibility of their use in non-small lung cancer(NSCLC). In this phase I clinical study(NCT01869166), patients with epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)-positive(>50% expression), relapsed/refractory NSCLC received escalating doses of EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cells were generated from peripheral blood after a 10 to 13-day in vitro expansion. Serum cytokines in peripheral blood and copy numbers of CAR-EGFR transgene in peripheral blood and in tissue biopsy were monitored periodically. Clinical responses were evaluated with RECIST1.1 and immune-related response criteria, and adverse events were graded with CTCAE 4.0. The EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell infusions were well-tolerated without severe toxicity. Of 11 evaluable patients, two patients obtained partial response and five had stable disease for two to eight months. The median dose of transfused CAR+ T cells was 0.97×10~7 cells kg^(-1)(interquartile range(IQR), 0.45 to 1.09×10~7 cells kg^(-1)). Pathological eradication of EGFR positive tumor cells after EGFR-targeted CAR-T cell treatment can be observed in tumor biopsies, along with the CAR-EGFR gene detected in tumor-infiltrating T cells in all four biopsied patients. | 2 | Removing local irregularities of triangular meshes with highlight line models显示文摘The highlight line model is a powerful tool in assessing the quality of a surface. It increases the ffexibility of an interactive design environment. In this paper, a method to generate a highlight line model on an arbitrary triangular mesh is presented. Based on the highlight line model, a technique to remove local shape irregularities of a triangular mesh is then presented. The shape modification is done by solving a minimization problem and performing an iterative procedure. The new technique improves not only the shape quality of the mesh surface, but also the shape of the highlight line model. | 4 | Comprehensively-modified polymer electrolyte membranes with multifunctional PMIA for highly-stable all-solid-state lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Polyethylene oxide(PEO)-based electrolytes have obvious merits such as strong ability to dissolve salts(e.g.,LiTFSI)and high flexibility,but their applications in solid-state batteries is hindered by the low ion conductance and poor mechanical and thermal properties.Herein,poly(m-phenylene isophthalamide)(PMIA)is employed as a multifunctional additive to improve the overall properties of the PEO-based electrolytes.The hydrogen-bond interactions between PMIA and PEO/TFSI-can effectively prevent the PEO crystallization and meanwhile facilitate the LiTFSI dissociation,and thus greatly improve the ionic conductivity(two times that of the pristine electrolyte at room temperature).With the incorporation of the high-strength PMIA with tough amide-benzene backbones,the PMIA/PEO-LiTFSI composite polymer electrolyte(CPE)membranes also show much higher mechanical strength(2.96 MPa),thermostability(4190℃)and interfacial stability against Li dendrites(468 h at 0.10 mA cm-2)than the pristine electrolyte(0.32 MPa,364℃and short circuit after 246 h).Furthermore,the CPE-based LiFePO4/Li cells exhibit superior cycling stability(137 mAh g^-1 with 93%retention after 100 cycles at 0.5 C)and rate performance(123 mAh g^-1 at 1.0 C).This work provides a novel and effective CPE structure design strategy to achieve comprehensively-upgraded electrolytes for promising solid-state battery applications. | Lehao Liu Jinshan Mo Jingru Li Jinxin Liu Hejin Yan Jing Lyu Bing Jiang Lihua Chu Meicheng Li | 2020 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2020,29,9: | 3 |
| 5 | Water boosted CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)separation in L-arginine functionalized metal–organic framework显示文摘The separation of CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)mixture by CO_(2)-selective sorbents is an energy-efficient C_(2)H_(2)purification technique,but is strategically challenging due to their similar molecular size and physicochemical properties.Meanwhile,water is inevitable in CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)mixture and it is usually a significant barrier because of its competitive adsorption with CO_(2).To address this challenge,herein,we report the first example of metal–organic framework(MOF)that exhibits water-boosted CO_(2)adsorption and CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)separation by anchoring L-arginine(ARG)on the Zr6 cluster of MOF-808.The CO_(2)affinity and capacity in the resulting MOF-808-ARG are markedly facilitated by the presence of water,while the C_(2)H_(2)adsorption is significantly suppressed.Specifically,CO_(2)adsorption capacities in adsorption isotherm and breakthrough measurement are increased to 143%and 184%,respectively.In addition,the wet MOF-808-ARG exhibits the record CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)selectivity of 1,180 under zero coverage.Breakthrough experiments reveal that CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)mixture can be completely separated and the result of mass spectrometry indicates that the C_(2)H_(2)purity in the outlet is up to 99.9%.In situ infrared(IR)results and density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal the water-promoted CO_(2)adsorption mechanism that the formation of bicarbonate products in the presence of water is thermodynamically and kinetically more favorable than that without water.Moreover,MOF-808-ARG also possesses excellent water stability and excellent regeneration of CO_(2)adsorption.This work provides a new paradigm by transforming the negative effects of water into positive ones for CO_(2)/C_(2)H_(2)separation. | Hejin Zhu Wenjuan Xue Hongliang Huang Lvyun Chen Haoyu Liu Chongli Zhong | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,5: | 2 |

| 8 | A NOVEL SVM ENSEMBLE APPROACH USING CLUSTERING ANALYSIS显示文摘A novel Support Vector Machine(SVM) ensemble approach using clustering analysis is proposed. Firstly,the positive and negative training examples are clustered through subtractive clus-tering algorithm respectively. Then some representative examples are chosen from each of them to construct SVM components. At last,the outputs of the individual classifiers are fused through ma-jority voting method to obtain the final decision. Comparisons of performance between the proposed method and other popular ensemble approaches,such as Bagging,Adaboost and k.-fold cross valida-tion,are carried out on synthetic and UCI datasets. The experimental results show that our method has higher classification accuracy since the example distribution information is considered during en-semble through clustering analysis.
