10Formation of Intragranular Ferrite During Isothermal/Thermomechanical Processes in a Medium Carbon V-Ti-N Microalloyed Steel显示文摘For a V-Ti-N microalloyed steel with 0.34%C-1.54%Mn,intragranular ferrite (IGF) was obtained in both isothermal austenite decomposition processes and thermomechanical processes simulating the industrial seamless tubing manufacture process.Results show that with decrease of the isothermal temperature in range of 600℃ down to 450℃,not only the morphology of IGF changed from equiaxed to acicular,but also the equiaxed IGF and the acicular IGF were refined.More importantly,it is found that the amount of equiaxed ferrite increased significantly in the thermomechanical process sample water quenched from 550℃ after 800℃ deformation than that in the isothermally treated sample at 550℃ sample without hot deformation.It implies that appropriate controlled deformation with controlled cooling can significantly promote equiaxed IGF formation,and not solely rely on nucleation mechanisms related with inclusions.Hot deformation of austenite without dynamic and complete static recrystallization causes high energy regions,therefore further promotes the nucleation potency of IGF.XU Lei 1,LIU Guo-quan 2,NIE Yu-zhu 1,WANG Xue-hui 1,MA E 1 (1.Hebei Iron and Steel Technology Research Institute,Shi Jiazhuang 050021,Hebei,China 2.School of Materials Science and Engineering /State Key Laboratory for Advanced Metals and Materials,University of Science and Technology Beijing,Beijing 100083,China) 2011Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2011,18,S1:0
11Research on the Monitoring System of CNC Grinding Process Based on Acoustic Emission显示文摘Using on-line monitoring during the CNC grinding process,the hazard case such as the crushing of grinding wheel and various safety accidents could be avoided,and the optimum time for dressing and replacing grinding wheel could also be determined,and hence,the service life of the grinding wheel could be prolonged and grinding quality could be improved. To overcome the limitation of some traditional techniques in which some parameters including the grinding power and force,torque and so on were monitored,the acoustic emission (AE) technique,which provides high sensitivity and responding speed,were developed in the present paper. The mechanism of AE during grinding was reviewed. Moreover,a virtual AE monitoring system,which could monitor the grinding state under different working conditions during the grinding,has been developed based on the Virtual Instruments technique. Some experiments were also performed on the internal grinder.
