1Accumulative deformation in railway track induced by high-speed traffic loading of the trains显示文摘Prediction and control of the permanent settlement of a track caused by traffic loading from trains is crucial to high-speed railway design and maintenance.In this study, a unified prediction model of accumulative deformation of geomaterials used in railway construction subjected to cyclic loadings is introduced and calibrated using physical model testing.Based on this versatile model, a calculation approach to determine the track structure settlement under repeated loadings caused by the movement of the wheel axle of the train is proposed.Regression analysis on the physical model testing is adopted to determine the parameters involved in the computational approach.Comparison of model test data and computed results shows that the parameters obtained from the back-analysis are consistent throughout the various testing conditions, and the proposed calculation approach is capable of satisfactorily predicting the accumulative settlement of the railway roadbed and subgrade soil for various axle loads and loading cycles.A case study of a high-speed railway is performed to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed approach in realistic engineering applications.The computation results from the settlement development of a roadbed and subgrade soil are presented and discussed.Bian Xuecheng Jiang Hongguang Chen Yunmin 2010Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2010,9,3:16
2Determination of Heterotic Groups and Heterosis Analysis of Yield Performance in indica Rice显示文摘To compare the heterosis levels among various groups of parental lines used extensively in China, identify foundational heterotic groups in parental pools and understand the relationship between genetic distance and heterosis performance, 16 parental lines with extensive genetic variation were selected from various sub-groups, and 39 hybrid combinations were generated and evaluated in Fujian and Hainan Provinces of China. The main results were as follows:(1) The 16 parental lines can be grouped into 7 sub-groups consisting of 1 maintainer sub-group and 6 restorer sub-groups;(2) Mean grain yield of the restorer lines was higher than that of the maintainer lines, and mean yield of parental lines was higher than that of the hybrid combinations;(3) The two best heterotic patterns were II-32A × G5 and II-32A × G6, moreover, the order of restorer sub-groups according to grain yield, from the highest to lowest, was G7, G6, G5, G4, G3 and G2; High specific combining ability values were observed for combinations of II-32A × G5, II-32A × G6 and Tianfeng A × G7;(4) Hybrid combinations derived from II-32A crossed with 13 restorer lines had higher yield trait values(mid-parent heterosis, better-parent heterosis, standard heterosis over check and specific combining ability) than any other combinations;(5) Genetic distance was positively correlated with panicle number, grain length and length-to-width ratio(P < 0.05) and negatively correlated with grain width, grain yield, seed-setting rate, as well as mid-parent heterosis, standard heterosis over check, and specific combining ability for grain yield(P < 0.01). 3Use of genotype-environment interactions to elucidate the pattern of maize root plasticity to nitrogen deficiency显示文摘Maize(Zea mays L.) root morphology exhibits a high degree of phenotypic plasticity to nitrogen(N) de ficiency,but the underlying genetic architecture remains to be investigated Using an advanced BC_4F_3 population,we investigated the root growth plasticity under two contrasted N levels and identi fied the quantitative trait loci(QTLs) with QTL-environment(Q×E)interaction effects. Principal components analysis(PCA) on changes of root traits to N de ficiency(D LN-HN) showed that root length and biomass contributed for 45.8% in the same magnitude and direction on the first PC,while root traits scattered highly on PC_2 and PC_3. Hierarchical cluster analysis on traits for D LN-HN further assigned the BC_4F_3 lines into six groups,in which the special phenotypic responses to N de ficiency was presented These results revealed the complicated root plasticity of maize in response to N de ficiency that can be caused by genotype environment(G×E) interactions. Furthermore,QTL mapping using a multi-environment analysis identi fied 35 QTLs for root traits. Nine of these QTLs exhibited signi ficant Q×E interaction effects. 4Dark matter direct search sensitivity of the PandaX-4T experiment显示文摘The Panda X-4T experiment, a 4-ton scale dark matter direct detection experiment, is being planned at the China Jinping Underground Laboratory. In this paper we present a simulation study of the expected background in this experiment. In a 2.8-ton fiducial mass and the signal region between 1-10 keV electron equivalent energy, the total electron recoil background is found to be 4.9 × 10^(-5) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). The nuclear recoil background in the same region is 2.8 × 10^(-7) kg^(-1) d^(-1) keV^(-1). 5Experimental study on dynamic load magnification factor for ballastless track-subgrade of high-speed railway显示文摘The magnitude of dynamic load produced by high-speed trains depends on many factors,of which train speed is the most critical one.However,it is quite difficult to determine the effect of train speed on dynamic load using the theoretical methods due to the complexity of the interaction between vehicle and track-subgrade.Thus large-scale model test has gradually become an important approach for studying dynamic responses of ballastless track-subgrade of high-speed railway.In this study,a full-scale model of ballastless track-subgrade was constructed in accordance with the design and construction standards for Shanghai-Nanjing intercity high-speed railway line firstly.Then,the dynamic strain of slab and the dynamic earth pressure of subgrade were measured by conducting single wheel axle excitation test.In addition,the relationship between the dynamic load magnification factor(DLF) and the train speed was obtained.Finally,the DLF of track-subgrade under different train speeds was proposed,similar to that given by German Railway Standard.Renpeng Chen Xing Zhao Zuozhou Wang Hongguang Jiang Xuecheng Bian 2013Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2013,5,4:5
6Delineation of Potential Mineral Resources RegionBased on Geo-anomaly Unit显示文摘The geological anomaly unit method (GAUM) is a new way to delineate and evaluate ore finding targets in line with the “geological anomaly ore finding theory”. Comprehensive ore finding information from geological, geochemical and geophysical data is used for quantitative measurement of the “ore forming geological anomaly unit” in this paper. 7Fractal derivative multi-scale model of fluid particle transverse accelerations in fully developed turbulence显示文摘The Tsallis distribution and the stretched exponential distribution were successfully used to fit the experimental data of turbulence particle acceleration published in Nature (2001), which manifested a clear departure from the normal distribution. These studies, however, fall short of a clear physical mechanism behind the statistical phenomenological description. In this study, we propose a multi- scale diffusion model which considers both normal diffusion in molecular-scale and anomalous diffu- sion in vortex-scale, and the latter is described by a novel fractal derivative modeling approach. 8Enhancing phosphorus uptake efficiency through QTL-based selection for root system architecture in maize显示文摘Root system architecture(RSA) plays an important role in phosphorus(P) acquisition,but enhancing P use efficiency(PUE) in maize via genetic manipulation of RSA has not yet been reported.Here,using a maize recombinant inbred line(RIL) population,we investigated the genetic relationships between PUE and RSA,and developed P-efficient lines by selection of quantitative trait loci(QTLs) that coincide for both traits.In low-P(LP) fields,P uptake efficiency(Pup E) was more closely correlated with PUE(r =0.48-0.54),and RSA in hydroponics was significantly related to Pup E(r=0.25-0.30) but not to P utilization efficiency(Put E).QTL analysis detected a chromosome region where two QTLs for PUE,three for Pup E and three for RSA were assigned into two QTL clusters,Cl-bin3.04 a and Cl-bin3.04 b.These QTLs had favorable effects from alleles derived from the large-rooted and high-Pup E parent.Marker-assisted selection(MAS) identified nine advanced backcross-derived lines carrying Cl-bin3.04 a or Cl-bin3.04 b that displayed mean increases of 22%e26% in PUE in LP fields.Furthermore,a line L224 pyramiding Clbin3.04 a and Cl-bin3.04 b showed enhanced Pup E,relying mainly on changes in root morphology,rather than root physiology,under both hydroponic and field conditions.These results highlight the physiological and genetic contributions of RSA to maize Pup E,and provide a successful study case of developing P-efficient crops through QTL-based selection.Riliang Gu Fanjun Chen Lizhi Long Hongguang Cai Zhigang Liu Jiabo Yang Lifeng Wang Huiyong Li Junhui Li Wenxin Liu Guohua Mi Fusuo Zhang Lixing Yuan 2016Journal of Genetics and Genomics2016,43,11:3

11Formation of CaO-TiO_2-MgO-Al_2O_3 dual phase inclusion in Ti stabilized stainless steel显示文摘The formation of CaO-TiO_2-MgO-Al_2O_3 dual phase inclusion in 321 stainless steel was investigated in the laboratory. The result indicated that the condition for the formation of CaOTiO_2-MgOAl_2O_3 in 321 steel is [Ca]>0.001wt%, [Ti]>0.1wt%, and [Al]>0.01wt%. 12High-speed and high-power germanium photodetector with a lateral silicon nitride waveguide显示文摘Up to now, the light coupling schemes of germanium-on-silicon photodetectors(Ge-on-Si PDs) could be divided into three main categories:(1) vertical(or normal-incidence) illumination, which can be from the top or back of the wafer/chip, and waveguide-integrated coupling including(2) butt coupling and(3) evanescent coupling. In evanescent coupling the input waveguide can be positioned on top, at the bottom, or lateral to the absorber. Here,to the best of our knowledge, we propose the first concept of Ge-on-Si PD with double lateral silicon nitride(Si_(3)N_(4)) waveguides, which can serve as a novel waveguide-integrated coupling configuration: double lateral coupling. The Ge-on-Si PD with double lateral Si_(3)N_(4) waveguides features uniform optical field distribution in the Ge region, which is very beneficial to improving the operation speed for high input power. The proposed Ge-on-Si PD is comprehensively characterized by static and dynamic measurements. The typical internal responsivity is evaluated to be 0.52 A/W at an input power of 25 mW. The equivalent circuit model and theoretical 3 dB optoelectrical(OE) bandwidth investigation of Ge-on-Si PD with lateral coupling are implemented. Based on the small-signal(S21) radio-frequency measurements, under 4 mA photocurrent, a 60 GHz bandwidth operating at-3 V bias voltage is demonstrated. When the photocurrent is up to 12 mA, the 3 dB OE bandwidth still has 36 GHz. With 1 mA photocurrent, the 70, 80, 90, and 100 Gbit/s non-return-to-zero(NRZ) and 100,120, 140, and 150 Gbit/s four-level pulse amplitude modulation clear openings of eye diagrams are experimentally obtained without utilizing any offline digital signal processing at the receiver side. In order to verify the highpower handling performance in high-speed data transmission, we investigate the eye diagram variations with the increase of photocurrents. The clear open electrical eye diagrams of 60 Gbit/s NRZ under 20 mA photocurrent are also obtained. 15Recent Advances in Two-Dimensional Magnets:Physics and Devices towards Spintronic Applications显示文摘The emergence of low-dimensional nanomaterials has brought revolutionized development of magnetism,as the size effect can significantly influence the spin arrangement.Since the first demonstration of truly two-dimensional magnetic materials(2DMMs)in 2017,a wide variety of magnetic phases and associated properties have been exhibited in these 2DMMs,which offer a new opportunity to manipulate the spin-based devices efficiently in the future.Herein,we focus on the recent progress of 2DMMs and heterostructures in the aspects of their structural characteristics,physical properties,and spintronic applications.Firstly,the microscopy characterization of the spatial arrangement of spins in 2D lattices is reviewed.Afterwards,the optical probes in the light-matter-spin interactions at the 2D scale are discussed.Then,particularly,we systematically summarize the recent work on the electronic and spintronic devices of 2DMMs.In the section of electronic properties,we raise several exciting phenomena in 2DMMs,i.e.,long-distance magnon transport,field-effect transistors,varying magnetoresistance behavior,and(quantum)anomalous Hall effect.In the section of spintronic applications,we highlight spintronic devices based on 2DMMs,e.g.,spin valves,spin-orbit torque,spin field-effect transistors,spin tunneling field-effect transistors,and spin-filter magnetic tunnel junctions.At last,we also provide our perspectives on the current challenges and future expectations in this field,which may be a helpful guide for theorists and experimentalists who are exploring the optical,electronic,and spintronic properties of 2DMMs.Vertikasari PNingrum Bowen Liu Wei Wang Yao Yin Yi Cao Chenyang Zha Hongguang Xie Xiaohong Jiang Yan Sun Sichen Qin Xiaolong Chen Tianshi Qin Chao Zhu Lin Wang Wei Huang 2020Research2020,,1:2
16New Seismic Attribute Technology for Predicting Dissolved Pore-Fracture of Deeply Buried Platform Margin Reef-Beach System in Northeast Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘The large reef complexes of the Upper Permian Changxing Formation, with a significant breakthrough for petroleum exploration, are an important target for petroleum exploration in the Yuanba area of the Sichuan Basin in SW China. The storage space types of reef complexes are dominated by the dissolved pore-fracture(DPF). However, using only single geophysical methods, it is difficult to predict effective distribution of DPF. Based on a combination of geological models and geophysics technology, this study proposes two new geophysical methods, including anisotropy coherence technique(ACT) and fracture intensity inversion(FII), to research the characteristics of DPF by faciescontrolling in Changxing Formation in Yuanba area. Two major findings are presented as follows:(1) the characteristics of DPF varying with facies are the result of different diagenetic and petrophysical property. The intensity of DPF decreases from reef and bioclastic bank to interbank sea and slope;(2) ACT can qualitatively identify the distribution of DPF with no-directional and dispersed distribution, while FII can quantitatively characterize the intensity of DPF development within various sedimentary facies.
