| 1 | Environmental Suitability and Distribution of the Caucasian Rock Agama,Paralaudakia caucasia (Sauria:Agamidae) in Western and Central Asia显示文摘Predictive potential distribution modeling is crucial in outlining habitat usage and establishing conservation management priorities.In this paper we provide detailed data on the distribution of the Caucasian rock agama Paralaudakia caucasia,and use species distribution models(MAXENT) to evaluate environmental suitability and potential distribution at a broad spatial scale.Locality data on the distribution of P.caucasia have been gathered over nearly its entire range by various authors from f ield surveys.The distribution model of P.caucasia showed good performance(AUC=0.887),and predicted high suitability in regions mainly located in Tajikistan,north Pakistan,Afghanistan,southeast Turkmenistan,northeast Iran along the Elburz mountains,Transcaucasus(Azerbajan,Armenia,Georgia),northeastern Turkey and northward along the Caspian Sea coast in Daghestan,Russia.The identifi cation of suitable areas for this species will help to assess conservation status of the species,and to set up management programs. | Seyyed Saeed HOSSEINIAN YOUSEFKHANI Gentile Francesco FICETOLA Nasrullah RASTEGAR-POUYANI Natalia B ANANJEVA Eskandar RASTEGAR-POUYANI Rafaqat MASROOR | 2013 | Asian Herpetological Research2013，4，3： | 4 |
| 2 | Distribution and Environmental Suitability of the Smallscaled Rock Agama, Paralaudakia microlepis(Sauria: Agamidae) in the Iranian Plateau显示文摘Predictive potential distribution modeling is of increasing importance in modern herpetological studies and determination of environmental and conservation priorities. In this article we provided results of analysis and forecasts of the potential distribution of smallscaled rock agama Paralaudakia microlepis(Blanford, 1874) using the distribution models through Maxent(www.cs.princeton.edu/ ~ schapire / maxent). We made an attempt for comparison of input of bioclimatic factors and characteristics of biotope distribution for three species of genus Paralaudakia. Constructed model identified dissemination of Paralaudakia microlepis enough performance(AUC = 0.972 with dispersion 0.003). | 3 | Genetic diversity of HCV among various high risk populations(IDAs,thalassemia,hemophilia,HD patients) in Iran显示文摘Objective:To determine the patterns of distribution of HCV genotypes among high risk population in north of Iran.Methods:A cross-sectional study was conducted on 135 HCV RNA-positive high risk individuals including thalassemia,hemophilia,patients under hemodialysis and intravenous drug addicts.HCV genotypes were determined based on amplification with type-specific primers methods.Results:Among the 187 anti-HCV positive samples,only 135 (72.2%)gave HCV-RNA positvity.Over all,the most identified HCV type was genotype 3a(51.1%) followed by 1a(27.4%),1b(8.2%).Sixteen(11.9%)out of 135 HCV RNA-positive participants have infected with more than one genotype or subtypes as follow:1a/1b in 11(8.2%),2/3a in 3 (2.2%),and 1a/1b/3a in 2(1.5%).Stratification of participants revealed that HCV subtype 3a was more prominent in thalassemia,hemophilia and HD patients but 1a and 1b were frequent in intravenous drug addicts.Conclusions:This study is the first report on HCV genotypes among Iranian subjects with different exposure categories resided in Mazandaran.where genotype 3a was found to be the most frequent genotype in thalassemia,hemophilia,and hemodialysis patients but not in IDAs.Since the addiction age is decreasing in Iran and a lot of addicts are IDAs.it might change the subtype pattern of HCV in general population. | Rafiei A Darzyani Azizi M Taheri S Haghshenas MR Hosseinian A Makhlough A | 2013 | Asian Pacific Journal of Tropical Medicine2013，6，7： | 2 |
