1Smart scaffolds in bone tissue engineering: A systematic review of literature显示文摘AIM: To improve osteogenic differentiation and attachment of cells.METHODS: An electronic search was conducted inPub Med from January 2004 to December 2013. Studies which performed smart modifications on conventional bone scaffold materials were included. Scaffolds with controlled release or encapsulation of bioactive molecules were not included. Experiments which did not investigate response of cells toward the scaffold(cell attachment, proliferation or osteoblastic differentiation) were excluded. RESULTS: Among 1458 studies, 38 met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The main scaffold varied extensively among the included studies. Smart modifications included addition of growth factors(group Ⅰ-11 studies), extracellular matrix-like molecules(group Ⅱ-13 studies) and nanoparticles(nano-HA)(group Ⅲ-17 studies). In all groups, surface coating was the most commonly applied approach for smart modification of scaffolds. In group I, bone morphogenetic proteins were mainly used as growth factor stabilized on polycaprolactone(PCL). In group Ⅱ, collagen 1 in combination with PCL, hydroxyapatite(HA) and tricalcium phosphate were the most frequent scaffolds used. In the third group, nano-HA with PCL and chitosan were used the most. 2Rapid high-temperature synthesis of SAPO-34 nanoparticles显示文摘Decreasing particle size results in larger increase of external surface area and shorter diffusion path,both reducing mass and heat transfer resistances in catalysis and sorption.A rapid high-temperature hydrothermal synthesis method was developed to synthesize uniform nanoparticles of SAPO-34 zeolite with high crystallinity.To investigate the effects of temperature and synthesis time on purity and crys-tallinity of the final products,the crystallization temperature was increased from 468 to 673 K while the synthesis time was decreased from 24 h to 45 min.The products were characterized by XRD and SEM techniques.It was found that high temperature and short synthesis time reduce the particle size and change the morphology of the SAPO-34 final product.Mahdi Dargahi Hossein Kazemian Mohammad Soltanieh Sohrab Rohani Morteza Hosseinpour 2011Particuology2011,9,5:7
3A new method to determine the synergistic effects of area ratio and microstructure on the galvanic corrosion of LAS A508/309 L/308 L SS dissimilar metals weld显示文摘The synergistic effects of area ratio and microstructure on the galvanic corrosion of A508/309 L/308 L dissimilar metals weld(DMW)are studied by a multi-analytical approach.It was demonstrated that decreasing the anode/cathode surface area ratio obviously enhances the corrosion rate of A508,both locally and globally.Deeper analyses of the AFM results enabled quantitative comparison of the corrosion behaviour of the different surface constituents.It was revealed that in the galvanic interaction of the DMW,the grain refined region corrodes most,followed by the partial grain refined region and base metal matrix of the A508,respectively.The electrochemical localization index(LI)estimation method and AFM analysis both confirmed the presence of a mixed(localized and uniform)corrosion phenomenon occurring on the surface of the A508 anode metal in the galvanic interaction of the dissimilar metals.Finally,the degree of synergism equation was utilized to describe the synergistic effects of anode/cathode area ratio and the microstructure of the samples on the galvanic corrosion of LAS A508/309 L/308 L SS DMW.Bright O.Okonkwo Hongliang Ming Jianqiu Wang En-Hou Han Ehsan Rahimi Ali Davoodi Saman Hosseinpour 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,19:3
