| 2 | Residual lifetime prediction model of nonlinear accelerated degradation data with measurement error显示文摘For the product degradation process with random effect(RE), measurement error(ME) and nonlinearity in step-stress accelerated degradation test(SSADT), the nonlinear Wiener based degradation model with RE and ME is built. An analytical approximation to the probability density function(PDF) of the product's lifetime is derived in a closed form. The process and data of SSADT are analyzed to obtain the relation model of the observed data under each accelerated stress. The likelihood function for the population-based observed data is constructed. The populationbased model parameters and its random coefficient prior values are estimated. According to the newly observed data of the target product in SSADT, an analytical approximation to the PDF of its residual lifetime(RL) is derived in accordance with its individual degradation characteristics. The parameter updating method based on Bayesian inference is applied to obtain the posterior value of random coefficient of the RL model. | 3 | Horizontal-Based Orchestration for Multi-Domain SFC in SDN/NFV-Enabled Satellite/Terrestrial Networks显示文摘It's promising to use Software-Defined Networking(SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization(NFV) to integrate satellite and terrestrial networks. To construct network service function chains in such a multi-domain environment, we propose a horizontal-based Multi-domain Service Function Chaining(Md-SFC) orchestration framework. In this framework, multi-domain orchestrators can coordinate with each other to guarantee the end-to-end service quality. Intra-domain orchestrators also coordinate SDN controllers and NFV management components to implement intra-domain service function chains. Based on this, we further propose a heuristic SFC mapping algorithm with a cooperative inter-domain path calculation method to map service function chains to infrastructures. In this method, master multi-domain orchestrator and intra-domain orchestrators coordinate to select proper inter-domain links. We compare the cooperative method with a naive uncooperative way that domains' topology information is provided to the master multi-domain orchestrator and it calculates the shortest inter-domain path between intra-domain service function chains directly. Simulation results demonstrate that our solution is feasible. It is able to construct end-to-end performance guaranteed service function chain by horizontal-based cooperation. | 4 | Comparison of the effects of aluminum and iron(Ⅲ)salts on ultrafiltration membrane biofouling in drinking water treatment显示文摘Coagulation plays an important role in alleviating membrane fouling, and a noticeable problem is the development of microorganisms after long-time operation, which gradually secrete extracellular polymeric substances(EPS). To date, few studies have paid attention to the behavior of microorganisms in drinking water treatment with ultrafiltration(UF)membranes. Herein, the membrane biofouling was investigated with different aluminum and iron salts. We found that Al_2(SO_4)_3·18 H_2O performed better in reducing membrane fouling due to the slower growth rate of microorganisms. In comparison to Al_2(SO_4)_3·18H_2O,more EPS were induced with Fe_2(SO_4)_3·x18H_2O, both in the membrane tank and the sludge on the cake layer. We also found that bacteria were the major microorganisms, of which the concentration was much higher than those of fungi and archaea. Further analyses showed that Proteobacteria was dominant in bacterial communities, which caused severe membrane fouling by forming a biofilm, especially for Fe_2(SO_4)_3·x18H_2O. Additionally, the abundances of Bacteroidetes and Verrucomicrobia were relatively higher in the presence of Al_2(SO_4)_3·18 H_2O,resulting in less severe biofouling by effectively degrading the protein and polysaccharide in EPS. A parameter estimation method based on modified expectation maximum(EM) algorithm is proposed to obtain the estimated value of fixed coefficient and the priori value of random coefficient in the model. The posterior value of the random coefficient and the current degradation state of target device are updated synchronously by the state space model(SSM) and the Kalman filter algorithm. | 13 | The effects of hydrogen peroxide pre-oxidation on ultrafiltration membrane biofouling alleviation in drinking water treatment显示文摘Pre-oxidation is widely used to reduce ultrafiltration membrane fouling.However,the variation in the composition of microbial communities and extracellular polymeric substances(EPSs) accompanying pre-oxidation in drinking water treatment has received little attention.In this study,hydrogen peroxide(H_2O_2) was used in a coagulationultrafiltration process with Al_2(SO_4)_3·18H_2O.A long-term reactor experiment(60 d) showed that pre-oxidation alleviated membrane fouling,mainly due to its inhibition of microbial growth,as observed by flow cytometry measurements of the membrane tank water.Further analysis of the formed cake layer demonstrated that the corresponding levels of EPS released from the microbes were lower with than without H_2O_2 treatment.In comparison to polysaccharides,proteins dominated the EPS.2 D-electrophoresis showed little difference(p > 0.05,Student's t-test) in the composition of proteins in the cake layer between the treatments with and without H_2O_2.The molecular weights of proteins ranged from approximately 30–50 kDa and the majority of isoelectric points ranged from 6 to 8.Highthroughput sequencing showed that the predominant bacteria were Proteobacteria,Bacteroidetes,and Verrucomicrobia in both cake layers.However,the relative abundance of Planctomycetes was higher in the cake layer with H_2O_2 pre-oxidation,which was likely probably due to the strong oxidative resistance of its cell wall.Overall,our findings clarify the fundamental molecular mechanism in H_2O_2 pre-oxidation for ultrafiltration membrane bio-fouling alleviation in drinking water treatment. | Xing Wang Baiwen Ma Yaohui Bai Huachun Lan Huijuan Liu Jiuhui Qu | 2018 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2018,30,11: | 4 |

| 17 | Application of Neural Network in Fault Location of Optical Transport Network显示文摘Due to the increasing variety of information and services carried by optical networks, the survivability of network becomes an important problem in current research. The fault location of OTN is of great significance for studying the survivability of optical networks. Firstly, a three-channel network model is established and analyzing common alarm data, the fault monitoring points and common fault points are carried out. The artificial neural network is introduced into the fault location field of OTN and it is used to judge whether the possible fault point exists or not. But one of the obvious limitations of general neural networks is that they receive a fixedsize vector as input and produce a fixed-size vector as the output. Not only that, these models is even fixed for mapping operations (for example, the number of layers in the model). The difference between the recurrent neural network and general neural networks is that it can operate on the sequence. In spite of the fact that the gradient disappears and the gradient explodes still exist in the neural network, the method of gradient shearing or weight regularization is adopted to solve this problem, and choose the LSTM (long-short term memory networks) to locate the fault. The output uses the concept of membership degree of fuzzy theory to express the possible fault point with the probability from 0 to 1. Priority is given to the treatment of fault points with high probability. The concept of F-Measure is also introduced, and the positioning effect is measured by using location time, MSE and F-Measure. The experiment shows that both LSTM and BP neural network can locate the fault of optical transport network well, but the overall effect of LSTM is better. The localization time of LSTM is shorter than that of BP neural network, and the F1-score of LSTM can reach 0.961566888396156 after 45 iterations, which meets the accuracy and real-time requirements of fault location. | 19 | Effect of amino acid mutation at position 127 in 3A of a rabbitattenuated foot-and-mouth disease virus serotype Asia1 on viral replication and infection显示文摘An amino acid mutation(R127→I) in the 3A non-structural protein of an FMDV serotype Asia1 rabbit-attenuated ZB strain was previously found after attenuation of the virus. To explore the effects of this mutation on viral replication and infection, the amino acid residue isoleucine(I) was changed to arginine(R) in the infectious cDNA clone of the rabbit-attenuated ZB strain by sitedirected mutagenesis, and the R127-mutated virus was rescued. BHK monolayer cells and suckling mice were inoculated with the R127-mutated virus to test its growth property and pathogenicity, respectively. The effects of the R127 mutation on viral replication and virulence were analyzed. The data showed that there was a slight difference in plaque morphology between the R127-mutated and wild-type viruses. The growth rate of the mutated virus was lower in BHK-21 cells and its virulence in suckling mice was also attenuated. | 20 | Safety of SARS-CoV-2 vaccines:a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials显示文摘Background Various modalities of vaccines against coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),based on different platforms and immunization procedures,have been successively approved for marketing worldwide.A comprehensive review for clinical trials assessing the safety of COVID-19 vaccines is urgently needed to make an accurate judgment for mass vaccination.Main text A systematic review and meta-analysis was conducted to determine the safety of COVID-19 vaccine candidates in randomized controlled trials(RCTs).Data search was performed in PubMed,Embase,Cochrane library,Scopus,Web of Science,and MedRxiv.Included articles were limited to RCTs on COVID-19 vaccines.A total of 73,633 subjects from 14 articles were included to compare the risks of adverse events following immunization(AEFI)after vaccinating different COVID-19 vaccines.Pooled risk ratios(RR)of total AEFI for inactivated vaccine,viral-vectored vaccine,and mRNA vaccine were 1.34[95%confidence interval(CI)1.11–1.61,P<0.001],1.65(95%CI 1.31–2.07,P<0.001),and 2.01(95%CI 1.78–2.26,P<0.001),respectively.No significant differences on local and systemic AEFI were found between the first dose and second dose.In addition,people aged≤55 years were at significantly higher risk of AEFI than people aged≥56 years,with a pooled RR of 1.25(95%CI 1.15–1.35,P<0.001).Conclusions The safety and tolerance of current COVID-19 vaccine candidates are acceptable for mass vaccination,with inactivated COVID-19 vaccines candidates having the lowest reported AEFI.Long-term surveillance of vaccine safety is required,especially among elderly people with underlying medical conditions. | Musha Chen Yue Yuan Yiguo Zhou Zhaomin Deng Jin Zhao Fengling Feng Huachun Zou Caijun Sun | 2021 | Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,4: | 2 |
