| 1 | Theoretical analysis of the harmonic characteristics of modular multilevel converters显示文摘To understand the operation principle of the modular multilevel converter(MMC)deeply,it is necessary to study the harmonic characteristics of the MMC theoretically.Besides,the analytical harmonic formulas of the MMC are useful in designing the main circuit,reducing the losses and improving the waveform quality.Based on the average switching function and the Fourier series harmonic analysis,this paper deduces the analytical expressions for such electrical quantities as the arm voltage,the arm current,the capacitor voltage,the capacitor current and the circulating current of the MMC.Finally,a digital model of a 21-level MMC-HVDC system is realized in PSCAD/EMTDC.The results of the analytical expressions coincide with the simulation results,which verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed analytical expressions. | XIAO HuangQing XU Zheng XUE YingLin TANG Geng | 2013 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2013,56,11: | 10 |
| 2 | Machine learning-based fast frequency response control for a VSC-HVDC system显示文摘HVDC system can realize a very fast frequency response to the disturbed system under a contingency because its active power control is decoupled from the frequency deviation.However,most of existing HVDC frequency control strategies are coupled with system primary frequency control and secondary frequency control.Since the traditional system frequency control is dominated by the thermal generators,the advantage of the fast response of the HVDC system is not made fully used.The development of a frequency response estimation based on a machine learning algorithm provides another approach to improve the frequency response capability of the HVDC system.Different from other frequency deviation tracking strategies,a machine learning based HVDC frequency response control can directly increase the power flow of a HVDC system by estimation of the system generator or load lost.In this paper,a fast frequency response control using a HVDC system for a large power system disturbance based on the multivariate random forest regression(MRFR)algorithm is proposed.The simulation is carried out with an integrated power system model based on the North American interconnections.The simulation results indicate that the proposed MRFR based frequency response control can significantly improve the frequency low point during an event,while stabilizing the frequency in advance. | Kaiqi Sun Huangqing Xiao Shengyuan Liu Yilu Liu | 2021 | CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2021,7,4: | 3 |
| 3 | Primitive trigeminal artery-cavernous sinus fistula and ICA-primitive trigeminal artery aneurysm: report of two cases and review of literatures显示文摘The authors described two cases with primitive trigeminal artery. Case 1 was a 32-year-old woman who suffered dizziness and a serious pulsatile intracranial bruit on the left ear, and sometimes associated with pulsatile intracranial bearing-pain on the left temporal side six months before she was admitted to the hospital. She also suffered from obvious diplopia on left lateral gaze for the last 5 months. She had suffered no recent trauma. Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) demonstrated a suspected intracranial aneurysm located in left cavernous sinus. Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) was performed and a primitive trigeminal artery-cavernous sinus fistula in left side was found. Intraluminal occlusion of the fistula was successfully performed immediately after angiography using 6 Guglielmi detachable coils (GDC), and the patient was cured finally. Case 2 was a 28-year-old woman who suffered a serious intermittent cephalodynia associated with soreness on the left body two years before she was admitted to the hospital. She had suffered no recent trauma. Magnetic resonance angiography(MRA) demonstrated a suspected intracavernous aneurysm of the right internal carotid artery, Digital subtraction angiography (DSA) was performed. Right internal carotid angiography showed a primitive trigeminal artery (PTA) run between the cavernous segment of the internal carotid artery and the distal portion of the basilar artery. On initiation of PTA of R-ICA a small wide-necked saccular aneurysm was incidentally visualized.
