| 1 | Zirconium-containing UiO-66 as an efficient and reusable catalyst for transesterification of triglyceride with methanol显示文摘Zirconium-based MOFs of the UiO family have attracted considerable attention due to their high thermal,chemical and mechanical stability. With the aim of further exploring the applications of zirconium-based UiO-66 in acid-catalyzed reactions and elucidating the effects of the defects in UiO-66 materials on their catalytic performances, in this work, a series of zirconium-containing UiO-66 samples were synthesized by varying the synthesis temperatures and BDC/Zr(terephthalic acid/ZrCl_4) ratios in the synthesis system.The synthesized UiO-66 samples were characterized by X-ray diffraction(XRD), N_2 adsorption-desorption,scanning electron microscopy(SEM), thermogravimetrical analysis(TGA), temperature-programmed desorption of NH_3(NH_3-TPD). Their catalytic performances were investigated in transesterification of tributyrin and soybean oil with methanol. The results showed that UiO-66 samples with different amounts of defects could be successfully prepared by varying the synthesis temperatures and/or the BDC/Zr ratios used in the synthesis system. The catalytic activities of the UiO-66 materials greatly depended on their linker defects and enhanced with the increase of the defect amount. The UiO-66 was an efficient catalyst for transesterification of tributyrin and soybean oil with methanol under mild reaction conditions and its catalytic activity was comparable to other solid acid catalysts reported in the literatures. | 3 | Structural engineering of sulfur-doped carbon encapsulated bismuth sulfide core-shell structure for enhanced potassium storage performance显示文摘Owing to the high theoretical capacity,metal sulfides have emerged as promising anode materials for potassium-ion batteries(PIBs).However,sluggish kinetics,drastic volume expansion,and polysulfide dissolution during charge/discharge result in unsatisfactory electrochemical performance.Herein,we design a core-shell structure consisting of an active bismuth sulfide core and a highly conductive sulfur-doped carbon shell(Bi2S3@SC)as a novel anode material for PIBs.Benefiting from its unique core-shell structure,this Bi2S3@SC is endowed with outstanding potassium storage performance with high specific capacity(626 mAh·g^(-1)under 50 mA·g^(-1))and excellent rate capability(268.9 mAh·g^(-1)at 1 A·g^(-1)).More importantly,a Bi2S3@SC//KFe[Fe(CN)6]full cell is successfully fabricated,which achieves a high reversible capacity of 257 mAh·g^(-1)at 50 mA·g^(-1)over 50 cycles,holding great potentials in practical applications.Density functional theory(DFT)calculations reveal that potassium ions have a low diffusion barrier of 0.54 eV in Bi2S3 due to the weak van der Waals interactions between layers.This work heralds a promising strategy in the structural design of high-performance anode materials for PIBs. | Changlai Wang Jian Lu Huigang Tong Shuilin Wu Dongdong Wang Bin Liu Ling Cheng Zhiyu Lin Lin Hu Hui Wang Wenjun Zhang Qianwang Chen | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,10: | 2 |
| 4 | Generation of strong magnetic fields with a laser-driven coil显示文摘As a promising new way to generate a controllable strong magnetic field, laser-driven magnetic coils have attracted interest in many research fields. In 2013, a kilotesla level magnetic field was achieved at the Gekko XⅡ laser facility with a capacitor–coil target. A similar approach has been adopted in a number of laboratories, with a variety of targets of different shapes. The peak strength of the magnetic field varies from a few tesla to kilotesla, with different spatiotemporal ranges. The differences are determined by the target geometry and the parameters of the incident laser. Here we present a review of the results of recent experimental studies of laser-driven magnetic field generation, as well as a discussion of the diagnostic techniques required for such rapidly changing magnetic fields.
