9Eutectic Solidification in Al-13.0%Si Alloys with Combined Addition of Strontium and Boron显示文摘The influence of addition of boron(B) on eutectic solidification in a near-eutectic Al-13.0%Si alloy modified with strontium(Sr) was investigated using thermal analysis and macro/microstructure observation.Addition of B in the Sr-modified alloy leads to a considerable increase in nucleation temperature(TN,the minimum temperature prior to recalescence(TM) and growth temperature(TG).In the Sr-modified alloy,nucleation of eutectic might originate at the heterogeneous sites on the mold wall or in the melt near the wall,and eutectic solidification proceeds gradually towards the center,controlled by undercooling of melt.However,with addition of B in the Sr-modified alloy,undercooling required for eutectic nucleation became small,and hence eutectic solidification might occur almost simultaneously within whole casting,controlled by amount of heterogeneous sites.With excessive addition of B in the Sr-modified alloy,nucleation of eutectic grains was explosive within the whole casting and the power of Sr on eutectic solidification was completely poisoned.Hengcheng Liao,Ke Ding,Juanjuan Bi,Min Zhang,Huipin Wang and Lei Zhao School of Materials Science and Engineering,Southeast University,Nanjing 211198,China Jiangsu Key Laboratory for Advanced Metallic Materials,Nanjing 211189,China 2009Journal of Materials Science & Technology2009,25,4:1

19Mode-varying Cell Equalizer Based on Interleaved Parallel Multiple Transformers显示文摘In the application of long series batteries,there is always the phenomenon that multiple cells in a pack are unbalanced simultaneously.In view of this situation,a modevarying cell equalizer topology based on interleaved parallel multiple transformers is proposed in this paper.Every unit in this equalizer can freely switch between LLC resonance mode and 3-state LC quasi-resonance mode.The boosting effect of LLC structure is used to reduce the number of transformer’s total turns.When multiple equalizer units need to work in LLC mode simultaneously,interleaved parallel technology is used to limit secondary side equalization current ripple for long-term protection of battery life.A prototype was designed and built to validate the effect of a closed loop LLC mode control algorithm with a state-of-charge(SOC)based equalization scheme selection strategy.Experimental results including up to 88.52%efficiency in LLC mode with 90.7%efficiency in 3-state LC mode,and minute level balancing time show the proposed topology demonstrates excellent balancing performance.Qixing Wu Mingyu Gao Huipin Lin 2023CSEE Journal of Power and Energy Systems2023,9,2:0
20A Very Fast Pulsed Electron Gun for (e, 2e) and (e, 3e) Studies显示文摘Reaction microscope is a powerful tool for studying ion-atom/molecule dynamics, it can also be employed to investigate electron impact ionization processes. Traditionally these processes are studied by using the (e, 2e) or (e, 3e) techniques, most data are collected for single ionization and for very small scattering angles, i.e. (e, 2e), experimental data of double ionization (e, 3e)[1] and multiple ionization are scarce, because in most cases the efficiencies (mainly determined by solid angles) are extremely small for (e, 3e) processes, about 10^-7~10^-9.
