| 3 | Oncolytic Activity of Wild-type Newcastle Disease Virus HK84 Against Hepatocellular Carcinoma Associated with Activation of Type I Interferon Signaling显示文摘Background and Aims:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is listed as one of the most common causes of cancer-related death.Oncolytic therapy has become a promising treatment because of novel immunotherapies and gene editing technology,but biosafety concerns remain the biggest limitation for clinical application.We studied the the antitumor activity and biosafety of the wild-type Newcastle disease virus HK84 strain(NDV/HK84)and 10 other NDV strains.Meth-ods:Cell proliferation and apoptosis were determined by cell counting Kit-8 and fluorescein isothiocyanate Annexin V apoptosis assays.Colony formation,wound healing,and a xenograft mouse model were used to evaluate in vivo and in vitro oncolytic effectiveness.The safety of NDV/HK84 was tested in nude mice by an in vivo luciferase imaging system.The replication kinetics of NDV/HK84 in normal tis-sues and tumors were evaluated by infectious-dose assays in eggs.RNA sequencing analysis was performed to explore NDV/HK84 activity and was validated by quantitative real-time PCR.Results:The cell counting Kit-8 assays of vi-ability found that the oncolytic activity of the NDV strains differed with the multiplicity of infection(MOI).At an MOI of 20,the oncolytic activity of all NDV strains except the DK/JX/21358/08 strain was>80%.The oncolytic activities of the NDV/HK84 and DK/JX/8224/04 strains were>80%at both MOI=20 and MOI=2.Only NDV/HK84 had>80%oncolytic activities at both MOI=20 and MOI=2.We chose NDV/HK84 as the candidate virus to test the oncolytic effect of NDV in HCC in the in vitro and in vivo experiments.NDV/HK84 killed human SK-HEP-1 HCC cells without affecting healthy cells.Conclusions:Intratumor infection with NDV/HK84 strains compared with vehicle controls or positive controls indicated that NDV/HK84 strain specifically inhib-ited HCC without affecting healthy mice.High-throughput RNA sequencing showed that the oncolytic activity of NDV/HK84 was dependent on the activation of type I interferon signaling. | Liming Chen Yongdong Niu Jiating Sun Hong Lin Guoxi Liang Min Xiao Dongmei Shi Jia Wang Huachen Zhu Yi Guan | 2022 | Journal of Clinical and Translational Hepatology2022,10,2: | 1 |

| 9 | Evaluation of UAV-derived multimodal remote sensing data for biomass prediction and drought tolerance assessment in bioenergy sorghum显示文摘Screening for drought tolerance is critical to ensure high biomass production of bioenergy sorghum in arid or semi-arid environments. The bottleneck in drought tolerance selection is the challenge of accurately predicting biomass for a large number of genotypes. Although biomass prediction by lowaltitude remote sensing has been widely investigated on various crops, the performance of the predictions are not consistent, especially when applied in a breeding context with hundreds of genotypes. In some cases, biomass prediction of a large group of genotypes benefited from multimodal remote sensing data;while in other cases, the benefits were not obvious. In this study, we evaluated the performance of single and multimodal data(thermal, RGB, and multispectral) derived from an unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) for biomass prediction for drought tolerance assessments within a context of bioenergy sorghum breeding. The biomass of 360 sorghum genotypes grown under well-watered and water-stressed regimes was predicted with a series of UAV-derived canopy features, including canopy structure, spectral reflectance, and thermal radiation features. Biomass predictions using canopy features derived from the multimodal data showed comparable performance with the best results obtained with the single modal data with coefficients of determination(R2) ranging from 0.40 to 0.53 under water-stressed environment and0.11 to 0.35 under well-watered environment. The significance in biomass prediction was highest with multispectral followed by RGB and lowest with the thermal sensor. Finally, two well-recognized yieldbased drought tolerance indices were calculated from ground truth biomass data and UAV predicted biomass, respectively. | 11 | Effect of ethylene vinyl acetate content on the performance of VMD using HDPE co-blending membrane显示文摘Membranes were fabricated with high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) blend through thermally induced phase separation and were then used for vacuum membrane distillation (VMD). The membranes were supported by non woven polyester fabric with a special cellular structure. Different membrane samples were obtained by adjusting the polymer concentration, HDPE/EVA weight ratio, and coagulation bath temperature. The membranes were characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) analysis, contact angle test, and evaluation of porosity and pore size distribution. A series of VMD tests were conducted using aqueous NaCI solution (0.5 mol·L^-1) at a feed temperature of 65 ℃ and permeate side absolute pressure of 3 kPa. The membranes showed excellent performance in water permeation flux, salt rejection, and long-term sta-bility. | 12 | Production Dynamic Prediction Method of Waterflooding Reservoir Based on Deep Convolution Generative Adversarial Network(DC-GAN)显示文摘The rapid production dynamic prediction of water-flooding reservoirs based on well location deployment has been the basis of production optimization of water-flooding reservoirs.Considering that the construction of geological models with traditional numerical simulation software is complicated,the computational efficiency of the simulation calculation is often low,and the numerical simulation tools need to be repeated iteratively in the process of model optimization,machine learning methods have been used for fast reservoir simulation.However,traditional artificial neural network(ANN)has large degrees of freedom,slow convergence speed,and complex network model.This paper aims to predict the production performance of water flooding reservoirs based on a deep convolutional generative adversarial network(DC-GAN)model,and establish a dynamic mapping relationship between well location deployment and output oil saturation.The network structure is based on an improved U-Net framework.Through a deep convolutional network and deconvolution network,the features of input well deployment images are extracted,and the stability of the adversarial model is strengthened.The training speed and accuracy of the proxy model are improved,and the oil saturation of water flooding reservoirs is dynamically predicted.The results show that the trained DC-GAN has significant advantages in predicting oil saturation by the well-location employment map.The cosine similarity between the oil saturation map given by the trained DC-GAN and the oil saturation map generated by the numerical simulator is compared.In above,DC-GAN is an effective method to conduct a proxy model to quickly predict the production performance of water flooding reservoirs. | Liyuan Xin Xiang Rao Xiaoyin Peng Yunfeng Xu Jiating Chen | 2022 | Energy Engineering2022,119,5: | 0 |

| 17 | Design and test of self-propelled citrus seedling pots filling and placing machine显示文摘In order to address the problem of citrus seedling pot filling and transporting which is time-consuming and labor-intensive in China,a scheme for seedling pot filling and placing was proposed,and a self-propelled citrus seedling pot filling and placing machine was designed which can fill and place 48 pots at one time.Firstly,the rotary hopper door mechanism was designed,the movement of the hopper door was analyzed,and the connection between the opening size and the movement time of the hopper door was determined.Then,the transmission system of the machine was designed,the power consumption of the hopper movement and substrate stirring were calculated,and the power requirement of the transmission system was determined.The lifting structure of the seedling pots frame was analyzed,the size of the flipping structure of the cover plate was calculated,and the seedling pots frame was designed.After that,the substrate flow rate curve was measured through the substrate flow rate experiments,and the hopper-controlled movement speed was calculated.Furthermore,the experimental prototype was manufactured and tested.The test results indicate that the filling number of pots was 48 one time,the filling time was 30 s,and the seedling pots were fully filled and placed in order.The average filling mass of the seedling pots was 2.23 kg,and the average mass variation coefficient was 2.7%.The substrate mass which is scraped out is 0.81 kg,accounting for 0.76%of the total filling mass at one time.This designed machine had a reasonable structure and high filling efficiency.The reseach can provide a reference for the development and optimization of the citrus seedling pots filling and transporting machine. | Qinchao Xu Shanjun Li Jian Zhang Jiating Zhu Haibing Pan | 2023 | International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2023,16,1: | 0 |
