| 3 | Versatile subtypes of pericytes and their roles in spinal cord injury repair,bone development and repair显示文摘Vascular regeneration is a challenging topic in tissue repair. As one of the important components of the neurovascular unit(NVU),pericytes play an essential role in the maintenance of the vascular network of the spinal cord. To date, subtypes of pericytes have been identified by various markers, namely the PDGFR-β, Desmin, CD146, and NG2, each of which is involved with spinal cord injury(SCI) repair. In addition, pericytes may act as a stem cell source that is important for bone development and regeneration, whilst specific subtypes of pericyte could facilitate bone fracture and defect repair. One of the major challenges of pericyte biology is to determine the specific markers that would clearly distinguish the different subtypes of pericytes, and to develop efficient approaches to isolate and propagate pericytes. | 8 | Long-range ordering of composites for organic electronics:TIPS-pentacene single crystals with incorporated nano-fibers显示文摘Multi-component active materials are widely used for organic electronic devices, with every component contributing complementary and synergistic optoelectronic functions. Mixing these components generally leads to lowered crystallinity and weakened charge transport. Therefore, preparing the active materials without substantially disrupting the crystalline lattice is highly desired. Here, we show that crystallization of TIPS-pentacene from solutions in the presence of fluorescent nanofibers of a perylene bisimide derivative(PBI) leads to formation of composites with nanofiber guest incorporated in the crystal host. In spite of the binary composite structure, the TIPS-pentacene maintains the singlecrystalline nature. As a result, the incorporation of the PBI guest introduces additional fluorescence function but does not significantly reduce the charge transport property of the TIPS-pentacene host,exhibiting field-effect mobility as high as 3.34 cm^2 V^(-1) s^(-1) even though 26.4% of the channel area is taken over by the guest. | 9 | Performance of surface radiation products of Greenland Ice Sheet using in-situ measurements显示文摘Radiation is the direct energy source of the surface natural environment and the main driving force of climate change.It has increasingly become an important meteorological factor affecting the surface heat exchange and glacier mass balance,especially in the glacier changes of the Greenland Ice Sheet(Gr IS).Due to the harsh climatic conditions of Gr IS and sparse observed data,it has become an important way to obtain radiation data from reanalysis datasets.However,the applicability of these radiation data on Gr IS is uncertain and worth exploring.In this work,we evaluate five reanalysis datasets(the fifth generation of European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts(ERA5),European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts Interim Reanalysis(ERA-Interim),Japanese 55-year Reanalysis(JRA55),National Centers for Environmental Prediction Reanalysis II(NCEP2)and Modern-Era Retrospective analysis for Research and Applications,Version 2(MERRA-2))during 1997-2022 using observations from 26 Program for Monitoring the Greenland Ice Sheet(PROMICE)automatic weather stations(AWSs)and 3 K-transect AWSs on Gr IS.The conclusions are as follows:ERA5 has the best performances in downward shortwave radiation(SWD)as well as downward and upward longwave radiation(LWD and LWU),but the performance is not the best in upward shortwave radiation(SWU).Based on the radiation budget analysis with ERA5 during 1979-2022,the fluctuation of longwave radiation is greater than that of shortwave radiation.The seasonal variation of shortwave radiation is obvious,while that of longwave radiation is small.The increasing trend of longwave radiation may result from global warming,in which ice sheets absorb more solar radiation and the surface heats up significantly,emitting more LWU. | CHE Jiahang HUAI Baojuan SUN Weijun DING Minghu WANG Lei ZHANG Qinglin WU Jiake KANG Limin TENG Xinru YANG Xiaohong YAN Jinpei ZHAO Shuhui | 2023 | Advances in Polar Science2023,34,3: | 0 |
