1The earthquake-related disturbances in ionosphere and project of the first China seismo-electromagnetic satellite显示文摘Based on the case studies and statistical analysis of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances mainly from DEMETER satellite,ground-based GPS and ionosounding data,this paper summarizes the statistical characteristics of earthquake-related ionospheric disturbances,including electromagnetic emissions,plasma perturbations and variation of energetic particle flux.According to the main results done by Chinese scientists, fusing with the existed study from global researches,seismo-ionospheric disturbances usually occurred a few days or hours before earthquake occurrence.Paralleling to these case studies,lithosphere-atmosphere-ionosphere (LAI) coupling mechanisms are checked and optimized.A thermo-electric model was proposed to explain the seismo-electromagnetic effects before earthquakes.A propagation model was put forward to explain the electromagnetic waves into the ionosphere.According to the requirement of earthquake prediction research,China seismo-electromagnetic satellite,the first space-based platform of Chinese earthquake stereoscopic observation system,is proposed and planned to launch at about the end of 2014.It focuses on checking the LAI model and distinguishing earthquake-related ionospheric disturbance.The preliminary design for the satellite will adopt CAST-2000 platform with eight payloads onboard.It is believed that the satellite will work together with the ground monitoring network to improve the capability to capture seismo-electromagnetic information,which is beneficial for earthquake monitoring and prediction researches.Xuhui Shen Xuemin Zhang Lanwei Wang Huaran Chen Yun Wu Shigeng Yuan Junfeng Shen Shufan Zhao Jiadong Qian Jianhai Ding 2011Earthquake Science2011,24,6:13
2Short-term and imminent geomagnetic anomalies of the Wenchuan M_S8.0 earthquake and exploration on earthquake forecast显示文摘The diurnal variation of the geomagnetic vertical component is exhibited mainly by changes of phase and amplitude before strong earthquakes.Based on data recorded by the network of geomagnetic observatories in China for many years, the anomalous features of the appearance time of the minima of diurnal variations(i.e, low-point time) of the geomagnetic vertical components and the variation of their spatial distribution(i.e, phenomena of low-point displacement) have been studied before the Wenchuan MS8.0 earthquake.The strong aftershocks after two months' quiescence of M6 aftershocks of the MS8.0 event were forecasted based on these studies.There are good correlativities between these geomagnetic anoma-lies and occurrences of earthquakes.It has been found that most earthquakes occur near the boundary line of sudden changes of the low-point time and generally within four days before or after the 27th or 41st day counting from the day of the appearance of the anomaly.In addition, the imminent anomalies in diurnal-variation amplitudes near the epicentral areas have also been studied before the Wenchuan earthquake.Wuxing Wang Jianhai Ding Surong Yu Yongxian Zhang 2009Earthquake Science2009,22,2:2

SURVEY OF GLOBAL SEISMICITY A total of 23 earthquakes with M_s ≥ 7.0 occurred over the world in 1997 according to the determination of the Chinese Seismic Station Network. The strongest one was the Kamchatka peninsula earthquake (M_s 7.9, December 5, 1997) (Fig. 1). 4Heritability estimations of ammonia tolerance and survival of ridgetail white prawn Exopalaemon carinicauda显示文摘Ridgetail white prawn Exopalaemon carinicauda is an important economic marine species in China.To improve the germplasm quality of cultured E.carinicauda,for the fi rst time,we estimated the heritability of ammonia tolerance and survival of E.carinicauda,covering 263 full-sib families in multiple generations.Analysis models including binary linear animal model(BLA),binary linear sire-dam model(BLSD),probit threshold animal model(PTA),and probit threshold sire-dam model(PTSD)were used.The estimated heritability of tolerance to ammonia in diff erent models ranged from 0.09 to 0.22,and that of survival rate ranged from 0.06 to 0.16.Concerning the tolerance to ammonia,both the PTSD and BLSD models showed comparatively better prediction accuracies(0.48 and 0.47,respectively)than PTA and BLA models(0.40 and 0.26,respectively),while to the survival rate,all four models presented relatively low predictive abilities(0.16-0.26).This study provided important information for the future breeding program of E.carinicauda.Ding LÜ Chengsong ZHANG Yang YU Jianhai XIANG Fuhua LI 2022Journal of Oceanology and Limnology2022,40,4:0

7A Review of the Status of Seismicity in 1994显示文摘A total of 48 earthquakes with M_s ≥5.0 occurred in China in 1994 (29 on the Chinese mainland and offshore, 19 in Taiwan). Among them 9 earthquakes were of M_s ≥6.0 (4 on the mainland and offshore, 5 in Taiwan). The M_s 7.3 earthquake that occurred in Taiwan Straits on September 16 was the greatest one offshore, which was generally included in the mainland area according to the previous statistics. The strongest earthquake occurred in Sulawesi, Indonesia (M_s7.8, November 5, 1998).
