1Catastrophe Model of Steam Flow Excitation Vibration in Steam Turbine Governing Stage显示文摘汽流激振是影响大型汽轮机组安全运行的主要故障之一。根据突变理论、非线性振动理论以及流体动力学,从机理分析的角度出发,对汽轮机调节级在部分进汽下导致的汽流激振突变性能进行了定量分析。建立了部分进汽情况下调节级气流激振力模型,以及考虑汽流激振力的调节级非线性动力学模型,通过基于突变理论的推导,得到了调节级汽流激振的尖点突变流形和分岔集,确定了系统汽流激振突变的影响因子,讨论了振幅突变与影响因子的相关性,划分了系统工作的突变区域。最后,利用数值计算方法对汽流激振的幅值响应进行了分析,分析结果验证了基于突变理论的汽流激振突变分析方法的正确性。研究成果为汽轮机汽流激振突变性能的研究提供了一条新的途径。LI Jianlan GUO Xuhong YU Chen HUANG Shuhong 2013中国电机工程学报2013,33,11:8

3Methods for assessing the grooving corrosion of high-frequency electric resistance welded pipes显示文摘Grooving corrosion is a major form of corrosion and is prone to occur when high-frequency electric resistance welded (HFW) pipes are being used.Therefore,grooving corrosion is one of the performance indexes of HFW products.Grooving corrosion usually occurs along the welding fusion line,resulting in one or more corrosion grooves.The main factors affecting grooving corrosion include the contents of alloying elements and impurities (especially sulphur) in the steel,the microstructure of the welds and the steel substrate,welding parameters and the service environment as well.In this study,the existing methods for assessing grooving corrosion were systematically reviewed,improvements and new methods were proposed and developed to overcome the shortcomings of the existing methods,such as inaccuracy and excessive research time.By comparison with the existing methods,the operational procedures and the characteristics of the new methods are introduced,and issues regarding the behavior of grooving corrosion and their assessment methods,which both need further research,are discussed in this study.WANG Wei QI Huibin LIU Changsheng ZHOU Qingjun QIAN Yuhai SHEN Jianlan 2010Baosteel Technical Research2010,4,3:5
4Role of serum lactate dehydrogenase levels in evaluating efficacy of interventional therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘Objective The aim of the study was to investigate the role of serum lactate dehydrogenase(LDH) levels in evaluating the efficacy of transcatheter arterial chemoembolization(TACE) for primary liver cancer.Methods A total of 52 patients with liver cancer admitted in our hospital(Huangzhou District People's Hospital, Huanggang, China) from June 2015 to December 2017 were selected and divided into control group(LDH of ≤ 450 U/L, n = 26) and observation group(LDH of > 450 U/L, n = 26), based on the pretreatment level of LDH. Based on the changes in serum LDH levels before and after treatment, patients were classified into two groups: LDH increased group(22 cases) and LDH decreased group(30 cases). The relationship between LDH levels and efficacy of TACE treatment was analyzed in the four groups retrospectively. Results No significant difference was seen in the clinical characteristics(gender, median age, performance status Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group, and staging system) between the control and observation groups. The efficacy rate in the control group was 57.7%, whereas that in the observation group was 42.3%(P > 0.05). The 1-year survival rate in the observation group was 53.8% and that in the control group was 84.6%(P < 0.05).Conclusion Serum LDH levels may be of clinical value in evaluating the efficacy of TACE in patients with hepatocellular carcinoma.Zhihong Wang Hong Ji Qiong Qiu Jianlan Wang 2018Oncology and Translational Medicine2018,4,6:4

7Assessment of biological changes in wheat seedlings induced by ^(12)C^(6+)-ion irradiation显示文摘The present study was designed to evaluate the effect of 12 6+ C ion beam (10~80 Gy) on biological changes of wheat seedlings. Reactive oxygen species (ROS)-related biomarkers and the quantification of plant survival and growth were examined at 10 day after carbon ions irradiation (LET: 30.8 keV/μm). The results showed that heavy ions obviously enhanced ROSs reflected by the production of O2 and H2O2 as well as TBARS, and - treatment with 20 Gy achieved the peak value, suggesting that higher mutagenic potential may occur at 20 Gy. Simultaneously, increase of SOD activity was induced by heavy ions to counteract ROS accumulation. On the other hand, higher doses at 40 and 80 Gy inhibited wheat growth and survival in comparison with the control, and reversely lower doses at 10 or 20 Gy stimulated wheat growth and survival. 9Use of Support Vector Regression Based on Mean Impact Value Model to Identify Active Compounds in a Combination of Curcuma longa L.and Glycyrrhiza extracts显示文摘A support vector regression based on the mean impact value (MIV) model was constructed to identify the bioactive compounds inhibiting proliferation of He La cells in a combination of turmeric (Curcuma longa L.)and liquorice (Glycyrrhiza) extracts.The quantitative chemical fingerprint from 50 batches of turmeric and liquorice extracts was established using high performance liquid chromatography hyphenated to an ultraviolet visible detector.Qualitative results were obtained using ultra performance liquid chromatography coupled with electrospray ionization quadrupole time-of-flight tandem mass spectrometry.A total of 46 peaks (peaks 1–15 from turmeric and 16–46 from liquorice) were selected as 'common peaks' for analysis.The inhibitory effect of the combined extracts on He La cells was measured by MTT (3- (4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide) assay.It was found that 15 compounds (peaks:8,12,30,24,46,11,14,9,3,1,44,18,7,45 and 43)possessing high absolute MIV exhibited a significant correlation with the cytotoxicity against He La cells; most of these have already been confirmed with potential cytotoxicity in previous research.The important potential application of the present model can be extended to help discover active compounds from complex herbal medicine prior to traditional bioassay-guided separation.It is considered that this could be a useful tool for redeveloping herbal medicine based on the use of these active compounds.Jianlan Jiang Qingjie Tan Weifeng Li Xinyun Du Ningzhi Liu 2017Transactions of Tianjin University2017,23,3:2
10Investigation on overvoltage caused by vacuum circuit breaker switching off shunt reactor in offshore wind farms显示文摘The multiple reignitions of vacuum circuit braker(VCB)while switching off the shunt reactor in an offshore wind farm(OWF)would produce a high overvoltage.The post-arc process of ion movement in the vacuum interrupter is analysed.Considering the sheath growth and ion concentration variation,the expression for dielectric recovery strength inside the VCB interrupter is derived.A novel VCB model is implemented in the environment of electromagnetic transient programme based on the new reignition criterion.Then,the switching overvoltage is computed and analysed in detail.For the OWF with high rising rate of transient recovery voltage,the sheath growth must be considered in the VCB model;otherwise,the overvoltage may be underestimated.Using resistor–capacitor(RC)snubber,a new installation scheme is proposed to suppress the overvoltage in the OWF.The results indicate that the proposed scheme can not only reduce the peak and steepness of overvoltage but also damp the high-frequency oscillation.It would not affect the steady-state operation of OWF.Besides,the capacitor of RC snubber normally does not bear the electric stress,and its life expectancy would be greatly enhanced.Zhi Zheng Qiuqin Sun Jianlan Yang She Chen Feng Wang Lipeng Zhong 2022High Voltage2022,7,5:2

16Effect of curcumin on nitric oxide synthase expression in lipopolysaccharide-activated microglia cells and the anti-oxidative effect of curcumin显示文摘BACKGROUND: It has been demonstrated that curcumin can increase the activities of various anti-oxidase in blood and tissue, effectively eliminate various free radicals, reduce the production of peroxisome, and alleviate oxidative stress reaction. Whether it has the same effect on microglia? OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of curcumin on the expressions of inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB), and superoxide dismutase (SOD) in microglial cell line BV stimulated by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). DESIGN: An observational comparative study. SETTING: Research Room of Biochemistry, Medical College of Nantong University. MATERIALS: Mice microglia cell line BV, iNOS and NF-κB reporter gene plasmids were presented by Dr. Bhat.NR. from the Medical University of South Carolina (USA). Curcumin was produced by the Xi'an Branch of China Chengdu Scholar Bio-Tech. Co.,Ltd.; LPS (E.Coli O26:B6), anti-mice iNOS monoclonal antibody, horseradish peroxidase labeled goat-anti-mice IgG were the products of Sigma Company (USA). METHODS: The experiments were carried out in the Research Room of Biochemistry, Medical College of Nantong University from May 2006 to April 2007. ① Detection of iNOS: The cells were seeded onto 24-well plate at the density of 1×105, After the cells had adhered to the cover glasses, the cells were grouped as negative control group (the primary antibody was replaced by phosphate buffered solution PBS); normal control group (the cells were normally cultured); LPS-treated group (the cells were treated with LPS for 24 hours); curcumin+LPS group (the cells were treated with curcumin for 1 hour and LPS for 24 hours). The expressions of iNOS protein were detected with immunocytochemical staining. ② Determination of iNOS and NF-κB gene activities: According to the introduction of the kit for transfection, iNOS or NF-κB report gene plasmids were transiently transfected with LipofectamineTM2000 liposomes into the cells in the 24-well plate for 24 hours. The cells were divided into normal control group (the cells were normally cultured after transfected with report gene plasmids); blank plasmid group (the cells were normally cultured after transfected with blank plasmids); LPS-treated group (the cells were treated with LPS for 4 hours after transfected with report gene plasmids); curcumin+LPS group (the cells were treated with curcumin for 1 hour and LPS for 24 hours after transfected with report gene plasmids). The content of luciferase in the cell lysis buffer was determined after cell lysis. ③ Determination of SOD activity: The cells were seeded into culture bottle at the density of 1×106, and the divided into four groups, including normal control group (the cells were normally cultured); LPS-treated group (the cells were treated with LPS for 24 hours); curcumin+LPS group (the cells were treated with curcumin for 1 hour and LPS for 24 hours); vitamin C+LPS group (the cells were treated with vitamin C for 1 hour and LPS for 24 hours). The SOD activity was determined with xanthine oxidase and quantitative colorimetric assay. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES: The expressions of iNOS protein, iNOS and NF-κB, and the activity of SOD were observed. RESULTS: ① Expression of iNOS protein in microglia: The expression of iNOS protein in the LPS-treated group was obviously higher than that in the negative control group (P < 0.01); Those in the curcumin+LPS group were significantly decreased as compared with that in the LPS-treated group (P < 0.01). ② Expressions of iNOS and NF-κB genes: The expressions of iNOS and NF-κB genes in the LPS-treated group were significantly higher than those in the normal control group (P < 0.01); Those in the curcumin+LPS group were significantly lower than those in the LPS-treated group (P < 0.01). ③ SOD activity: The activity of SOD in the LPS-treated group was significantly lower than those in the normal control group (P < 0.01). It in the curcumin+LPS group and vitamin C +LPS group was significantly higher than that in the LPS-treated group (P < 0.01).
