| 1 | Failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body with a weak coal interlayer显示文摘Using an MTS 815 testing machine,the deformation and failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body containing a weak coal interlayer has been investigated and described in this paper.Uniaxial loading leads to the appearance of mixed cracks in the coal body which induce instability and lead to bursts in coal.If the mixed crack propagates at a sufficiently high speed to carry enough energy to damage the roof rock,then coal and rock bursts may occur-this is the main mechanism whereby coal bumps or coal and rock bursts occur after excavation unloading.With increasing confining pressure,the failure strength of a rock-coal-rock combined body gradually increases,and the failure mechanism of the coal interlayer also changes,from mixed crack damage under low confining pressures,to parallel crack damage under medium confining pressures,and finally to single shear crack damage or integral mixed section damage under high confining pressures.In general,it is shown that a weak coal interlayer changes the form of overall coal damage in a rock-coal-rock combined body and reduces the overall stability of a coal body.Therefore,the whole failure behavior of a rock-coal-rock combined body in large cutting height working faces is controlled by these mechanisms. | Zuo Jianping Wang Zhaofeng Zhou Hongwei Pei Jianliang Liu Jianfeng | 2013 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2013,23,6: | 32 |

| 3 | Vertical Vibration of Moving Strip in Rolling Process Based on Beam Theory显示文摘The shape and thickness qualities of strip are influenced by the vibration of rolling mill.At present,the researches on the vibration of rolling mill are mainly the vertical vibration and torsional vibration of single stand mill,the study on the vibration of tandem rolling mill is rare.For the vibration of tandem rolling mill,the key problem is the vibration of the moving strip between stands.In this paper,considering the dynamic of moving strip and rolling theory,the vertical vibration of moving strip in the rolling process was proposed.Take the moving strip between the two mills of tandem rolling mill in the rolling process as subject investigated,according to the theory of moving beam,the vertical vibration model of moving strip in the rolling process was established.The partial differential equation was discretized by Galerkin truncation method.The natural frequency and stability of the moving strip were investigated and the numerical simulation in time domain was made.Simulation results show that,the natural frequency was strongly influenced by the rolling velocity and tension.With increasing of the rolling velocity,the first three natural frequencies decrease,the fourth natural frequency increases;with increasing of the unit tension,when the rolling velocity is high and low,respectively,the low order dimensionless natural frequency gradually decreases and increases,respectively.According to the stability of moving strip,the critical speed was determined,and the matching relationship of the tension and rolling velocity was also determined.This model can be used to study the stability of moving strip,improve the quality of strip and develop new rolling technology from the aspect of dynamics. | SUN Jianliang PENG Yan LIU Hongmin JIANG Guangbiao | 2009 | Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2009,22,5: | 23 |
| 4 | Clinical features and outcomes of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma based on nodal or extranodal primary sites of origin:Analysis of 1,085 WHO classified cases in a single institution in China显示文摘Objective: To explore the clinicobiologic features and outcomes of diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL)patients in China according to the primary site.Methods: A total of 1,085 patients diagnosed with DLBCL in National Cancer Center/Cancer Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences and Peking Union Medical College during a 6-year period were enrolled. Their clinical characteristics and outcomes were analyzed according to the primary site.Results: In the 1,085 patients, 679(62.6%) cases were nodal DLBCL(N-DLBCL) and 406 cases(37.4%) were extranodal DLBCL(EN-DLBCL). The most common sites of N-DLBCL were lymphonodus(64.8%), Waldeyer's ring(19.7%), mediastinum(12.8%) and spleen(2.7%), while in EN-DLBCL, stomach(22.4%), intestine(16.0%),nose and sinuses(8.9%), testis(8.4%), skin(7.9%), thyroid(6.9%), central nervous system(CNS)(6.4%), breast(5.7%), bone(3.4%), and salivary gland(2.7%) were most common. N-DLBCL patients tend to present B symptoms, bulky disease, and elevated LDH more often, while age >60 years, extranodal sites >1, Ann Arbor stage I or II, bone marrow involvement, and Ki-67 index >90% were usually seen in EN-DLBCL. The 5-year overall survival(OS) rate and progression-free survival(PFS) rate for all patients were 62.5% and 54.2%. The 5-year OS rate for patients with N-DLBCL and EN-DLBCL were 65.5% and 56.9%(P=0.008), and the 5-year PFS were57.0% and 49.0%(P=0.020). Waldeyer's ring originated DLBCL possessed the highest 5-year OS rate(83.6%) and PFS rate(76.9%) in N-DLBCL. The top five EN-DLBCL subtypes with favorable prognosis were stomach,breast, nose and sinuses, lung, salivary gland, with 5-year OS rate: 70.3%, 69.6%, 69.4%, 66.7% and 63.6%,respectively. While CNS, testis, oral cavity and kidney originated EN-DLBCL faced miserable prognosis, with 5-year OS rate of 26.9%, 38.2%, and 42.9%.Conclusions: In our study, primary sites were associated with clinical characteristics and outcomes. | 9 | Autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in chemotherapy-sensitive lymphoblastic lymphoma: treatment outcome and prognostic factor analysis显示文摘Objective: The study evaluated the effectiveness of autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(AHSCT) in the treatment of lymphoblastic lymphoma(LL).Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the data from 41 patients with chemotherapy-sensitive LL who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation(HSCT) from December 1989 to December 2009 in a single institution.Results: HSCT was conducted as first-line consolidation therapy and salvage therapy in 36 and 5 patients, respectively. The median follow-up was 97.1 months(range, 24.6-173.1 months). The 5-year overall survival(OS) and event-free survival(EFS) rate were 64% and 47% for the initially treated patients, respectively, and were both 20% for the relapsed ones. | 10 | Carbon dioxide adsorption of two-dimensional carbide MXenes显示文摘Two-dimensional carbide MXenes(Ti_3C_2T_x and V_2CT_x)were prepared by exfoliating MAX phases(Ti_3AlC_2 and V_2AlC)powders in the solution of sodium fluoride(NaF)and hydrochloric acid(HCl).The specific surface area(SSA)of as-prepared Ti_3C_2T_x was 21 m^2/g,and that of V_2CT_x was 9 m^2/g.After intercalation with dimethylsulfoxide,the SSA of Ti_3C_2T_x was increased to 66 m^2/g;that of V_2CT_x was increased to 19 m^2/g.Their adsorption properties on carbon dioxide(CO_2)were investigated under 0–4 MPa at room temperature(298 K).Intercalated Ti_3C_2T_x had the adsorption capacity of 5.79 mmol/g,which is close to the capacity of many common sorbents.The theoretical capacity of Ti_3C_2T_x with the SSA of 496 m^2/g was up to 44.2 mmol/g.Additionally,due to high pack density,MXenes had very high volume-uptake capacity.The capacity of intercalated Ti_3C_2T_(x )measured in this paper was 502 V·v^(–1).This value is already higher than volume capacity of most known sorbents.These results suggest that MXenes have some advantage features to be researched as novel CO_2 capture materials. | Bingxin WANG Aiguo ZHOU Fanfan LIU Jianliang CAO Libo WANG Qianku HU | 2018 | Journal of Advanced Ceramics2018,7,3: | 9 |

| 12 | Investigation of meso-failure behaviors of Jinping marble using SEM with bending loading system显示文摘In this study, the meso-failure mechanism and fracture surface of Jinping marble were investigated by means of scanning electron microscope(SEM) with bending loading system and laser-scanner equipment. The Yantang and Baishan marbles specimens from Jinping II hydropower station were used. Test results show that the fracture toughness and mechanical behaviors of Yantang marble were basically higher than those of Baishan marble. This is mainly due to the fact that Baishan marble contains a large percentage of dolomite and minor mica. Crack propagation path and fracture morphology indicated that the direction of tensile stress has a significant effect on the mechanical behaviors and fracture toughness of Baishan marble. For Yantang and Baishan marbles, a large number of microcracks around the main crack tip were observed when the direction of tensile stress was parallel to the bedding plane.Conversely, few microcracks occurred when the direction of tensile stress was perpendicular to the bedding plane. The presence of a large number of microcracks at the main crack tip decreased the global fracture toughness of marble. The results of three-point bending tests showed that the average bearing capacity of intact marble is 3.4 times the notched marble, but the ductility property of the defective marble after peak load is better than that of the intact marble. Hence, large deformation may be generated before failure of intact marbles at Jinping II hydropower station. The fractal dimension of fracture surface was also calculated by the cube covering method. Observational result showed that the largest fractal dimension of Yantang marble is captured when the direction of tensile stress is parallel to the bedding plane. However, the fractal dimension of fracture surface of Yantang and Baishan marbles with tensile stress vertical to the bedding plane is relatively small. | 15 | PhaseⅠdose-finding study of sorafenib with FOLFOX4 as firstline treatment in patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer显示文摘Objective: To determine the maximum tolerated dose(MTD), dose-limiting toxicity(DLT) and efficacy of sorafenib in combination with FOLFOX4(oxaliplatin/leucovorin(LV)/5-fluorouracil) as first-line treatment for advanced gastric cancer, we performed a phase I dose-finding study in nine evaluable patients with unresectable locally advanced or metastatic gastric cancer or gastroesophageal junction adenocarcinoma. Methods: According to modified Fibonacci method, the design of this study was to guide elevation of the sorafenib dosage to the next level(from 200 mg twice daily to 400 mg twice daily and then, if tolerated, 600 mg twice daily). If the patient achieved complete response(CR), partial response(PR) or stable disease(SD) after eight cycles of treatment, combination chemotherapy was scheduled to be discontinued and sorafenib monotherapy continued at the original dose until either disease progression or unacceptable toxicity. Results: In sorafenib 200 mg twice daily group, DLT was observed in 1 of 6 patients, and in 400 mg twice daily group, it was observed in 2 of 3 patients. Seven of 9(77.8%) evaluable patients achieved PR, with a median overall survival(OS) of 11.8 [95% confidence interval(CI): 8.9-14.7] months. | 18 | Investigation of non-isothermal and isothermal gasification process of coal char using different kinetic model显示文摘Isothermal and non-isothermal gasification kinetics of coal char were investigated by using thermogravimetric analysis(TGA) in CO2 atmosphere, and the experimental data were interpreted with the aids of random pore model(RPM), unreacted shrinking core model(URCM) and volume model(VM). With the increase of heating rate, gasification curve moves into high temperature zone and peak rate of gasification increases; with the increase of gasification temperature, gasification rate increases and the total time of gasification is shortened. The increase of both heating rate and gasification temperature could improve gasification process of coal char. Kinetics analysis indicates that experimental data agree better with the RPM than with the other two models. The apparent activation energy of non-isothermal and isothermal gasification of coal char using RPM is 193.9 k J/mol and 212.6 k J/mol respectively, which are in accordance with reported data. | 19 | Investigation of mechanical properties of fractured marbles by uniaxial compression tests显示文摘Uniaxial compression tests(UCTs)on 34 naturally fractured marble samples taken from the transportation tunnels of Jinping II hydropower station were carried out using the MTS815 Flex test GT rock testing system.Rockburst proneness index WET is determined for the marble samples with the UCTs.According to the number,size and spatial structure characteristics of the internal natural fractures of the marble samples,fractures are basically divided into 4 types,namely,single fracture,parallel fracture,intersectant fracture and mixed fracture.The mechanical properties of naturally fractured rocks(4 types)are analyzed and compared with those of intact rock samples(without natural fractures).Experimental results indicate that failure characteristics of fractured rocks are appreciably controlled by fracture distribution or fracture patterns.In comparison with intact rocks,the failure of fractured marbles is a locally progressive failure process and finally rocks fail abruptly.Statistically,the uniaxial compressive strengths(UCSs)of rocks with single,parallel,intersectant and mixed fractures are 0.72,0.69,0.59 and 0.46 times those of the intact rocks,respectively.However,the elastic modulus of the fractured Yantang marbles is generally not different from that of intact rocks.But the elastic moduli of Baishan marble with single,intersectant and mixed fractures are 0.61,0.62 and 0.45 times those of intact rocks,respectively.Experimental results also indicate that WET of fractured marbles is generally smaller than that of intact marbles,which implies that rockburst intensity of fractured marble in field may be controlled to some extent.In addition,the bearing capacity of surrounding rocks is also reduced,thus the surrounding rocks should be supported or reinforced timely according to practical conditions. | Hepine Xie Jianliang Pei Jianping Zuo Ru Zhang | 2011 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2011,3,4: | 5 |
| 20 | Optimizing Low-Temperature Heat Recovery in a Refinery Fluid Catalytic Cracking Unit Based on Pinch Analysis显示文摘In this paper, the research was focused on optimizing low-temperature heat recovery to adopt multi-effect distillation (MED) in desalination by pinch technology. And further analysis indicated that phase changes occurred during the heat recovery process. In such case, the feed stream was divided into two streams: the liquid feed stream and the gaseous feed stream. Through calculation, the optimal ΔTmin was established at 26 ℃, and the total cost of heat exchange process was only $1.098×106. By using the Problem Table Algorithm for pinch analysis, the temperature of the hot and the cold steams was 119 ℃ and 93 ℃, respectively. At a temperature higher than 119 ℃, all heat of the hot stream could not be cooled by the condenser, and the minimum heat load of utility (QH,min) was 440457.64 kW; and at a temperature below 93 ℃, all heat of the cold stream could not be provided by the heater, and the minimum cold load of utility (QC,min) was 1965993.85 kW.
