| 1 | Cooperative task assignment of multiple heterogeneous unmanned aerial vehicles using a modifed genetic algorithm with multi-type genes显示文摘The task assignment problem of multiple heterogeneous unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),concerned with cooperative decision making and control,is studied in this paper.The heterogeneous vehicles have different operational capabilities and kinematic constraints,and carry limited resources(e.g.,weapons) onboard.They are designated to perform multiple consecutive tasks cooperatively on multiple ground targets.The problem becomes much more complicated because of these terms of heterogeneity.In order to tackle the challenge,we modify the former genetic algorithm with multi-type genes to stochastically search a best solution.Genes of chromosomes are different,and they are assorted into several types according to the tasks that must be performed on targets.Different types of genes are processed specifcally in the improved genetic operators including initialization,crossover,and mutation.We also present a mirror representation of vehicles to deal with the limited resource constraint.Feasible chromosomes that vehicles could perform tasks using their limited resources under the assignment are created and evolved by genetic operators.The effect of the proposed algorithm is demonstrated in numerical simulations.The results show that it effectively provides good feasible solutions and fnds an optimal one. | Deng Qibo Yu Jianqiao Wang Ningfei | 2013 | Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2013,26,5: | 31 |

| 3 | Variations in equilibrium line altitude of the Qiyi Glacier,Qilian Mountains,over the past 50 years显示文摘Based on observations of the equilibrium line altitude(ELA)of the Qiyi Glacier in the Qilian Mountain,we established a statistical model between ELA and its major influencing factors,warm season air temperature(air temperature averages for September,July and August)and cold season precipitation(total precipitation in the period January through March).Warm season air temperature was the leading climatic factor influencing ELA variations.The glacier ELA ascends(descends)172 m when warm season air temperature increases(decreases)by 1°C,and ascends(descends)62 m when cold season precipitation decreases(increases)by 10%.In the period 1958-2008,the glacier ELA showed a general increasing trend,ascending 230 m and reaching its highest altitude in 2006 at 5131 m a.s.l.,close to the glacier summit.If future climate is similar to that in the period 2001-2008,the Qiyi Glacier will not stabilize until it retreats by 2.08 km. | WANG NingLian HE JianQiao PU JianChen JIANG Xi JING ZheFan | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,33: | 22 |

| 5 | Tracing the major source area of the mountainous runoff generation of the Heihe River in northwest China using stable isotope technique显示文摘Based on the data of δ18O in precipitation during the period of April 2006 through May 2007 in the upper catchment of the main stream of the Heihe River in the Qilian Mountains, we found that there existed an evident altitude effect on δ18O in precipitation, and the δ18O-altitude gradient was _0.18‰/100 m. When δ18O in river water at the outlet of the mountainous drainage area of the main stream of the Heihe River was combined with the δ18O-altitude relation, it was realized that the mountainous runoff was generated mostly at high altitudes. | 6 | Effects of electroacupuncture and Chinese kidney-nourishing medicine on polycystic ovary syndrome in obese patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To explore the effect of electroacupuncture and Chinese kidney-nourishing medicine on insulin (INS), adiponectin (APN), leptin (LEP), and glucolipid metabolism of obese patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). METHODS: Sixty-seven obese PCOS patients were randomly divided into two groups. Thirty-three patients in the acupuncture-medicine group were treated three times a week with electroacupuncture at the Tianshu (ST 25), Zhongwan (CV 12), Qihai (CV 6), Sanyinjiao (SP 6), Geshu (BL 17), and Cil-iao (BL 32) acupoints. They also took the Chinese drug, Tiankui capsule, for 3 months as a course of treatment. Point-taking and treatment in the electroacupuncture group of 34 patients was the same as those in the acupuncture-medicine group. We observed and compared the changes in the obesity-related indexes of body weight (BW), body mass index (BMI), and waist-hip ratio (WHR), as well as fasting plasma glucose (FPG), fasting insulin (FINS), APN, and LEP. RESULTS: BW, BMI, WHR, and FINS decreased and insulin sensitivity index (ISI) and APN were higher in the acupuncture-medicine group than in the electroacupuncture group (P<0.01). There was no obvious difference in LEP between the two groups (P>0.05). CONCLUSION: Acupuncture combined with medicine is better than just electroacupuncture for obese PCOS patients by improving obesity-related indexes, insulin sensitivity, and APN level. | 8 | Restudies on Body Surface of Dung Beetle and Application of Its Bionics Flexible Technique显示文摘A scanning electron microscope was used to observe the structures of the setae on the surface of a dung beetle Copris ochus, Motschulsky. There are lots of setae on the body surface, especially on the ventral part surface and lateral to the legs which are different in size, arrangement and shape. These setae have different lengths and many thorns on the whole seta. The top ends of these setae stand up without furcations which direct uprightly towards the surface of the touched soil. By the method of removing these setae, getting the insect weight before and after digging into the dung we affirm farther that the setae on the beetle body surface form the anti-stick and non-adherent gentle interface. | 9 | A distributed surface energy and mass balance model and its application to a mountain glacier in China显示文摘Based on the field observations on Qiyi Glacier during the warm season of 2007,using a digital elevation model(DEM,15 m resolution),we developed a distributed surface energy-and mass-balance model with an hourly resolution.The model described the effect of topography on shortwave solar radiation,and used a new parameterization for glacier albedo.The model was applied to Qiyi Glacier in the Qilian Mountain,China,for the period 20:00 30 June to 12:00 10 October 2007,to simulate the firn-line changes,the temporal and spatial variations of mass balance,and the glacial meltwater runoff.The results indicated that the patterns of altitudinal profile of glacier mass-balance were affected mainly by the altitudinal profile of albedo,and the status of the glacier mass balance was influenced directly by the values of albedo.The parameter sensitivity test showed that the model was sensitive to the air temperature lapse rate and precipitation gradient,and also sensitive to the threshold temperature for solid/liquid precipitation.Furthermore,the climate sensitivity test showed that the mass balance was more sensitive to air temperature than precipitation,and the response of mass balance to air temperature change was nonlinear while the response to precipitation change linearly.The negative mass balance trend of the glacier can not be reversed when precipitation increases by 20%and meanwhile air temperature rises by 1°C. | JIANG Xi WANG NingLian HE JianQiao WU XiaoBo SONG GaoJu | 2010 | Chinese Science Bulletin2010,55,20: | 11 |
| 10 | Effect of herb-partitioned moxibustion on pain and quality of life in women with endometriosis: a protocol for a randomized clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of herb-partitioned moxibustion(HPM) on pain and quality of life in women with endometriosis.METHODS: Thirty-six patients will be randomly assigned to a treatment group or a wait-list control group. The treatment group will receive 12 sessions of HPM in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region for 3 months. Wait-list participants will not receive any specific treatments until the trial is completed.RESULTS: The primary outcome measure is pain intensity assessed by a Visual Analogue Scale at baseline, months 1, 2, and 3 in the treatment period,and months 4, 5, and 6 in the follow-up period. | 11 | Resistance reduction by bionic coupling of the earthworm lubrication function显示文摘Based on the biological coupling theory, the resistance reduction characteristic of the surface morphology and surface wettability of the earthworm were studied in this paper. The parameters of surface dorsal pore and corrugation were extracted. According to these parameters, the lubrication mechanism of the earthworm surface was analyzed. The distribution of the pores and surface morphology were designed and the bionic coupling samples were prepared. The positive pressure, lubricant flow rate and advancing velocity were selected as the experiment factors while the soil friction resistance as observed object. According to the obtained data of bionic coupling samples from the testing system of biologic signal for tiny soil adhesion test, the optimal samples from the bionic coupling resistance reduction tests were selected through the range analysis. Compared to the normal ones, the soil resistance of bionic coupling samples was reduced by 76.8%. | 12 | Experimental detection of the inner core translational triplet显示文摘The translational oscillation of the solid inner core is one of the Earth’s fundamental normal modes, which is also called Slichter mode. The normal mode should be split to form a triplet due to the Earth’s rotation and ellipticity. In this study, according to the splitting pattern of Slichter mode, an attempt has been made to detect the possibility of Slichter triplet’s existence by using the product spectra of the long-term continuous gravity measurements from the superconducting gravimeters (SG) at 6 glob- ally-distributed permanent stations in the Global Geodynamics Projects network. The results indicate that the background noise level of the global SG observations is 0.0158 nm s–2 and the magnitude threshold of any global harmonic signals, which may be detected by the global SG, is 0.0152 nm s–2 in the subtidal frequency band from 0.162 to 0.285 cph in which Slichter triplet may occur. it implies that the signatures, related to the triplet, may be identified in the global SG observations, if they exist. It is found that there is a group of global harmonic signatures with the periods of 5.310, 4.995 and 4.344 h emerging significantly from the background noise in the global SG observations. They are in good agreement with the splitting pattern of Slichter mode. It implies that this group of signatures may be related to the inner core translational oscillations. | 14 | Hydrogeochemical and mineralogical characteristics related to heavy metal attenuation in a stream polluted by acid mine drainage:A case study in Dabaoshan Mine,China显示文摘Dabaoshan Mine,the largest mine in south China,has been developed since the 1970s.Acid mine drainage (AMD) discharged from the mine has caused severe environmental pollution and human health problems.In this article,chemical characteristics,mineralogy of ocher precipitations and heavy metal attenuation in the AMD are discussed based on physicochemical analysis,mineral analysis,sequential extraction experiments and hydrogeochemistry.The AMD chemical characteristics were determined from the initial water composition,water-rock interactions and dissolved sulfide minerals in the mine tailings.The waters,affected and unaffected by AMD,were Ca-SO4 and Ca-HCO3 types,respectively.The affected water had a low pH,high SO42 and high heavy metal content and oxidation as determined by the Fe2+ /Fe3+ couple.Heavy metal and SO42 contents of Hengshi River water decreased,while pH increased,downstream.Schwertmannite was the major mineral at the waste dump,while goethite and quartz were dominant at the tailings dam and streambed.Schwertmannite was transformed into goethite at the tailings dam and streambed.The sulfate ions of the secondary minerals changed from bidentate-to monodentate-complexes downstream.Fe-Mn oxide phases of Zn,Cd and Pb in sediments increased downstream.However,organic matter complexes of Cu in sediments increased further away from the tailings.Fe3+ mineral precipitates and transformations controlled the AMD water chemistry. | Huarong Zhao Beicheng Xia Jianqiao Qin Jiaying Zhang | 2012 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2012,24,6: | 8 |

| 16 | Study on characteristics of long-term gravity changes at Wuhan station显示文摘We consider the characteristics of long-term changes in non-tidal gravity and their implication to the local perturbations in barometric pressure and water storage and to the local vertical crustal movement using the long-term continuous gravity observations from a superconducting gravimeter (SG) at Wu-han station,together with the co-site measurements from a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver and an absolute gravimeter FG5. The observation results indicate that there are obvious seasonal variations in the long-term gravity changes measured with the SG. About 70 percent of the whole sea-sonal changes come from the contribution of the local disturbances in air pressure and water storage,while over 95 percent of the annual changes are attributed to the loading effects of these environmental perturbations. Due to the absence of direct measurements of the local water storage,especially those of the underground water,the global assimilating models of land water LaD (Land Dynamics) and GLDAS (Global Land Data Assimilation System) cannot virtually describe the real hydrologic distur-bances around the station. The resulting gravity changes,which are simulated theoretically by means of convolution integration of the loading Green’s functions and water models LaD and GLDAS,show significantly time delay of about 55 days from those measured with the SG. Compared with the meas-urements of the absolute gravity with the FG5,the long-term drift rate of the SG is determined as about 17.13 nms-2/a. From the co-site GPS measurements,it is found that the local crust is slowly subsiding at a rate of 3.71±0.16 mm/a,and the related gravity variation is estimated as 13.88±0.22 nms-2/a. In other words,the ratio of the changes in gravity and altitude related to the local vertical crustal movement is about -37.41 nms-2/cm. | 20 | Trajectory optimization of multiple quad-rotor UAVs in collaborative assembling task显示文摘A hierarchic optimization strategy based on the offline path planning process and online trajectory planning process is presented to solve the trajectory optimization problem of multiple quad-rotor unmanned aerial vehicles in the collaborative assembling task. Firstly, the path planning process is solved by a novel parallel intelligent optimization algorithm, the central force optimization-genetic algorithm(CFO-GA), which combines the central force optimization(CFO)algorithm with the genetic algorithm(GA). Because of the immaturity of the CFO, the convergence analysis of the CFO is completed by the stability theory of the linear time-variant discrete-time systems. The results show that the parallel CFO-GA algorithm converges faster than the parallel CFO and the central force optimization-sequential quadratic programming(CFO-SQP) algorithm. Then,the trajectory planning problem is established based on the path planning results. In order to limit the range of the attitude angle and guarantee the flight stability, the optimized object is changed from the ordinary six-degree-of-freedom rigid-body dynamic model to the dynamic model with an inner-loop attitude controller. The results show that the trajectory planning process can be solved by the mature SQP algorithm easily.
