1Effects of inorganic arsenic on growth and microcystin production of a Microcystis strain isolated from an algal bloom in Dianchi Lake,China显示文摘Our previous data have shown that inorganic arsenic concentrations were high in Dianchi Lake,China,where Microcystis blooms often occur.To explore the relationship between arsenic and the growth of Microcystis,the effects of arsenite[As(III)]and arsenate[As(V)]on the growth and toxin production of M.aeruginosa strain FACHB 905 were tested.Results showed that M.aeruginosa FACHB 905 was tolerant to inorganic arsenic and its growth was not inhibited when the concentration of As(III)was below 10-5 mol L-1 or that of As(V)below 10-3 mol L-1.Total microcystin production was stimulated in the presence of 10-7 mol L-1 As(III)and the response of this M.aeruginosa strain to As(III)seemed to be a typical inverted U-shaped hormesis.The content increase of microcystin-LR per cell indicated that the toxicity was enhanced as M.aeruginosa FACHB 905 was exposed to As(V).Considering the relatively high concentration of inorganic arsenic in Dianchi Lake(139μg L-1 in epilimnetic water),the origin of the M.aeruginosa strain,inorganic arsenic favors survival of M.aeruginosa FACHB 905 and may stimulate its microcystin production and cellular toxicity.GONG Yan AO HongYi LIU BiBo WEN Sheng WANG Zhi HU DingJing ZHANG XingZhong SONG LiRong LIU JianTong 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,22:6

7Stability and stabilization of discrete T-S fuzzy time-delay system based on maximal overlapped-rules group显示文摘The problems of stability and stabilization for the discrete Takagi-Sugeno(T-S) fuzzy time-delay system are investigated.By constructing a discrete piecewise Lyapunov-Krasovskii function(PLKF) in each maximal overlapped-rules group(MORG),a new sufficient stability condition for the open-loop discrete T-S fuzzy time-delay system is proposed and proved.Then the systematic design of the fuzzy controller is investigated via the parallel distributed compensation control scheme,and a new stabilization condition for the closed-loop discrete T-S fuzzy time-delay system is proposed.The above two sufficient conditions only require finding common matrices in each MORG.Compared with the common Lyapunov-Krasovskii function(CLKF) approach and the fuzzy Lyapunov-Krasovskii function(FLKF) approach,these proposed sufficient conditions can not only overcome the defect of finding common matrices in the whole feasible region but also largely reduce the number of linear matrix inequalities to be solved.Finally,simulation examples show that the proposed PLKF approach is effective.Songtao Zhang Xiaowei Zhao Jiantong Zhang 2016Journal of Systems Engineering and Electronics2016,27,1:1

12Versatile Functionalization of Carbon Nanomaterials by Ferrate(Ⅵ)显示文摘As a high-valent iron compound with Fe in the highest accessible oxidation state,ferrate(VI)brings unique opportunities for a number of areas where chemical oxidation is essential.Recently,it is emerging as a novel oxidizing agent for materials chemistry,especially for the oxidation of carbon materials.However,the reported reactivity in liquid phase(H2SO4 medium)is confusing,which ranges from aggressive to moderate,and even incompetent.Meanwhile,the solid-state reactivity underlying the“dry”chemistry of ferrate(VI)remains poorly understood.Herein,we scrutinize the reactivity of K2FeO4 using fullerene C60 and various nanocarbons as substrates.The results unravel a modest reactivity in liquid phase that only oxidizes the active defects on carbon surface and a powerful oxidizing ability in solid state that can open the inert C=C bonds in carbon lattice.We also discuss respective benefit and limitation of the wet and dry approaches.Our work provides a rational understanding on the oxidizing ability of ferrate(VI)and can guide its application in functionalization/transformation of carbons and also other kinds of materials.Ying Zhou Zhao‑Yang Zhang Xianhui Huang Jiantong Li Tao Li 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,3:1

14Drying-Mediated Self-Assembly of Graphene for Inkjet Printing of High-Rate Micro-supercapacitors显示文摘Scalable fabrication of high-rate micro-supercapacitors(MSCs)is highly desired for on-chip integration of energy storage components.By virtue of the special self-assembly behavior of 2D materials during drying thin films of their liquid dispersion,a new inkjet printing technique of passivated graphene micro-flakes is developed to directly print MSCs with 3D networked porous microstructure.The presence of macroscale through-thickness pores provides fast ion transport pathways and improves the rate capability of the devices even with solid-state electrolytes.During multiple-pass printing,the porous microstructure effectively absorbs the successively printed inks,allowing full printing of 3D structured MSCs comprising multiple vertically stacked cycles of current collectors,electrodes,and sold-state electrolytes.The all-solid-state heterogeneous 3D MSCs exhibit excellent vertical scalability and high areal energy density and power density,evidently outperforming the MSCs fabricated through general printing techniques.Szymon Sollami Delekta Mika‑Matti Laurila Matti Mantysalo Jiantong Li 2020Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,3:1
