Further Information of the Associated Li Deposits in the No.6 Coal Seam at Jungar Coalfield, Inner Mongolia, Northern China显示文摘Total 138 coal samples and 14 parting samples were taken from the No. 6 Seam of the Jungar Coalfield, Inner Mongolia. These samples were analysed by optical microscopy, sequential chemical extraction procedure (SCEP), inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS), X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), and scanning electron microscope in conjunction with an energy-dispersive X-ray spectrometer (SEM-EDX) analysis. The results indicate that the Li contents have reached the industrial grade of the coal associated Li deposit, and the total Li reserves have reached 2406600 tons, that is, 5157000 tons Li2O in the No. 6 seam in the Jungar Coalfield. The sequential chemical extraction procedure results suggest that the Li concentration is mainly related to inorganic matter. The minerals in the coals consist of kaolinite, boehmite, chlorite-group mineral, quartz, calcite, pyrite, siderite and amorphous clay material. Some Li could be absorbed by clay minerals in the Li-bearing coal seam. The chlorite phase?could be?most likely the host for a part of Li. The Yinshan Oldland should be the most possible source of Li of the coal.SUN Yuzhuang ZHAO Cunliang LI Yanheng WANG Jinxi ZHANG Jianya JIN Zhe LIN Mingyue Wolfgang KALKREUTH 2013Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2013,87,4:33

Photogrammetry and Deep Learning显示文摘Deep learning has become popular and the mainstream technology in many researches related to learning, and has shown its impact on photogrammetry.According to the definition of photogrammetry, that is,a subject that researches shapes, locations, sizes, characteristics and inter-relationships of real objects from optical images, photogrammetry considers two aspects, geometry and semantics. From the two aspects,we review the history of deep learning and discuss its current applications on photogrammetry, and forecast the future development of photogrammetry. In geometry, the deep convolutional neural network(CNN)has been widely applied in stereo matching,SLAM and 3D reconstruction, and has made some effects but needs more improvement. In semantics, conventional methods that have to design empirical and handcrafted features have failed to extract the semantic information accurately and failed to produce types of“semantic thematic map”as 4D productions(DEM,DOM,DLG,DRG)of photogrammetry. This causes the semantic part of photogrammetry be ignored for a long time. The powerful generalization capacity, ability to fit any functions and stability under types of situations of deep leaning is making the automatic production of thematic maps possible. We review the achievements that have been obtained in road network extraction, building detection and crop classification, etc.,and forecast that producing high-accuracy semantic thematic maps directly from optical images will become reality and these maps will become a type of standard products of photogrammetry. At last,we introduce our two current researches related to geometry and semantics respectively. One is stereo matching of aerial images based on deep learning and transfer learning;the other is precise crop classification from satellite spatio-temporal images based on 3D CNN.Jianya GONG Shunping JI 2018Journal of Geodesy and Geoinformation Science2018,1,1:19

A robust and rapid algorithm for generating and transmitting multi-resolution three-dimensional models显示文摘Recent advances in 3D spatial data capture, such as high resolution satellite images and laser scanning as well as corresponding data proc- essing and modeling technologies, have led to the generation of large amounts of datasets on terrains, buildings, roads and other features. The rapid trans- mission and visualization of 3D models has become a ‘bottleneck’ of internet-based applications. This paper proposes a robust algorithm to generate multi-resolution models for rapid visualization and network transmission of 3D models. Experiments were undertaken to evaluate the performance of the proposed algorithm. Experimental results demon- strate that the proposed algorithm achieves good performance in terms of running speed, accuracy, encoding of multi-resolution models, and network transmission.YANG Bisheng LI Qingquan GONG Jianya 2006Chinese Science Bulletin2006,51,8:8
Deep neural network for remote-sensing image interpretation: status and perspectives显示文摘Deep neural networks(D N N s)refer to end-to-end mappings(i.e.from data to information)by stacking a large num ber of filters learned from massive samples.By courtesy of the comprehensive Earth observation platforms and convenient data access,remote-sensing practitioners are dealing with very large and ever-growing data volumes, which call for fast and transferrable machine-learning technologies for the large-scale geospatial information mining[l].While some progress has been made, research in deep-learning-based remote-sensing image interpretation is still in its infancy, mainly subject to insufficient annotation samples, high complexity of the model, and lack of in-depth integration between deep learning and remote sensing.Construction of diverse and representative remote-sensing benchmark datasets, further investigation on task-driven deep learning(i.e.the integration of deep learning and remotesensing physical mechanisms)and the efforts towards promoting the practicality of the networks should be considered in the agenda. In this context.Jiayi Li Xin Huang Jianya Gong 2019National Science Review2019,6,6:7
Object-level change detection based on full-scale image segmentation and its application to Wenchuan Earthquake显示文摘Aiming at object fragmentation and poor detection results caused by discontinuous segmentation scale in object-level change detection,a new object-level change detection method based on the full-scale object tree is presented in this paper. The core idea of this new algorithm is to establish the full-scale object tree based on convexity model theory and integrate full-scale image segmentation techniques and change detection into the whole process. Some Wenchuan Earthquake images are taken as an example to discuss the new method for earthquake damage detection and evaluation in urban area, landslide detection, and extraction of barrier lake boundary. The application shows that the new method is robust and it provides an advanced tool for the quantitative detection and evaluation of earthquake damage.GONG JianYa,SUI HaiGang,SUN KaiMin,MA GuoRui & LIU JunYi State Key Laboratory of Information Engineering in Surveying,Mapping and Remote Sensing,Wuhan University,Wuhan 430072,China 2008Science China(Technological Sciences)2008,51,S2:7
A Topology-Cognitive Algorithm Framework for Virtual Network Embedding Problem显示文摘The virtual network embedding/mapping problem is an important issue in network virtualization in Software-Defined Networking(SDN).It is mainly concerned with mapping virtual network requests, which could be a set of SDN flows, onto a shared substrate network automatically and efficiently.Previous researches mainly focus on developing heuristic algorithms for general topology virtual network. In practice however, the virtual network is usually generated with specific topology for specific purpose. Thus,it is a challenge to optimize the heuristic algorithms with these topology information. In order to deal with this problem,we propose a topology-cognitive algorithm framework, which is composed of a guiding principle for topology algorithm developing and a compound algorithm. The compound algorithm is composed of several subalgorithms, which are optimized for specific topologies. We develop star, tree, and ring topology algorithms as examples, other subalgorithms can be easily achieved following the same framework. The simulation results show that the topology-cognitive algorithm framework is effective in developing new topology algorithms, and the developed compound algorithm greatly enhances the performance of the Revenue/Cost(R/C) ratio and the Runtime than traditional heuristic algorithms for multi-topology virtual network embedding problem.HUANG Tao LIU Jiang CHEN Jianya LIU Yunjie 2014China Communications2014,11,4:7
Geospatial Service Web:towards integrated cyberinfrastructure for GIScience显示文摘A geospatial cyberinfrastructure is needed to support advanced GIScience research and education activities. However, the heterogeneous and distributed nature of geospatial resources creates enormous obstacles for building a unified and interoperable geospatial cyberinfrastructure. In this paper,we propose the Geospatial Service Web(GSW)to underpin the development of a future geospatial cyberinfrastructure. The GSW excels over the traditional spatial data infrastructure by providing a highly intelligent geospatial middleware to integrate various geospatial resources through the Internet based on interoperable Web service technologies. The development of the GSW focuses on the establishment of a platform where data, information, and knowledge can be shared and exchanged in an interoperable manner.Theoretically,we describe the conceptual framework and research challenges for GSW,and then introduce our recent research toward building a GSW.A research agenda for building a GSW is also presented in the paper.GONG Jianya WU Huayi ZHANG Tong GUI Zhipeng LI Zhenlong YOU Lan SHEN Shengyu ZHENG Jie GENG Jing QI Kunlun YANG Wenjing LI Zhenqiang YU Jingmin 2012Geo-Spatial Information Science2012,15,2:5

DATA MODEL AND VISUALIZATION OF 3D CITY LANDSCAPE BASED ON INTEGRATED DATABASES显示文摘Data acquisition and modeling are the two important, difficult and costful aspects in a Cybercity project. 2D-GIS is mature and can manage a lot of spatial data. Thus 3D-GIS should make the best of data and technology of 2D-GIS. Construction of a useful synthetic environment requires integration of multiple types of information like DEM, texture images and 3D representation of objects such as buildings. In this paper, the method for 3D city landscape data model and visualization based on integrated databases is presented. Since the data volume of raster are very huge, special strategies(for example, pyramid gridded method) must be adopted in order to manage raster data efficiently. Three different methods of data acquisition, the proper data structure and a simple modeling method are presented as well. At last, a pilot project of Shanghai Cybercity is illustrated.Li Deren Wang Yandong Zhu Qing Gong Jianya 1999Geo-Spatial Information Science1999,2,1:5
Advances in urban information extraction from high-resolution remote sensing imagery显示文摘The study of urban area is one of the hottest research topics in the field of remote sensing. With the accumulation of high-resolution(HR) remote sensing data and emerging of new satellite sensors, HR observation of urban areas has become increasingly possible, which provides us with more elaborate urban information. However, the strong heterogeneity in the spectral and spatial domain of HR imagery brings great challenges to urban remote sensing. In recent years, numerous approaches were proposed to deal with HR image interpretation over complex urban scenes, including a series of features from low level to high level, as well as state-of-the-art methods depicting not only the urban extent, but also the intra-urban variations. In this paper, we aim to summarize the major advances in HR urban remote sensing from the aspects of feature representation and information extraction. Moreover, the future trends are discussed from the perspectives of methodology, urban structure and pattern characterization, big data challenge, and global mapping.Jianya GONG Chun LIU Xin HUANG 2020Science China Earth Sciences2020,63,4:4
A DISTRIBUTED HYPERMAP MODEL FOR INTERNET GIS显示文摘The rapid development of Internet technology makes it possible to integrate GIS with the Internet, forming Internet GIS.Internet GIS is based on a distributed client/server architecture and TCP/IP & IIOP.When constructing and designing Internet GIS,we face the problem of how to express information units of Internet GIS.In order to solve this problem, this paper presents a distributed hypermap model for Internet GIS.This model provides a solution to organize and manage Internet GIS information units. It also illustrates relations between two information units and in an internal information unit both on clients and servers. On the basis of this model, the paper contributes to the expressions of hypermap relations and hypermap operations. The usage of this model is shown in the implementation of a prototype system.Yuan Xiangru Chen Nengcheng Gong Jianya 2000Geo-Spatial Information Science2000,3,4:4
THE SCHEME FOR THE DATABASE BUILDING AND UPDATING OF 1∶10 000 DIGITAL ELEVATION MODELS显示文摘The National Bureau of Surveying and Mapping of China has planned to speed up the development of spatial data infrastructure (SDI) in the coming few years. This SDI consists of four types of digital products,i.e.,digital orthophotos, digital elevation models, digital line graphs and digital raster graphs. For the DEM,a scheme for the database building and updating of 1∶10 000 digital elevation models has been proposed and some experimental tests have also been accomplished. This paper describes the theoretical (and/or technical) background and reports some of the experimental results to support the scheme.Various aspects of the scheme such as accuracy, data sources, data sampling, spatial resolution, terrain modeling, data organization, etc are discussed.ZHU Qing LI Zhilin GONG Jianya SUI Haigang 2000Geo-Spatial Information Science2000,3,2:4
Soil moisture estimation based on BeiDou Bl interference signal analysis显示文摘BeiDou Navigation Satellite System reflectometry(BDS-R) is an emerging area of BD(BeiDou) applications that uses multipath reflected signals in microwave remote sensing.Soil moisture estimation is one of the potential important applications of BDS-R.This study aims to investigate the feasibility of soil moisture estimation based on BD B1 band interference signals, which are composed of direct and reflected BD signals and can be readily captured using low-cost commercial BDS receivers. In this paper,a theoretical background for soil estimation from interference signals was introduced, and an analysis of field experimental data was conducted.First,a cosine model for the interference signal power was built, and a non-uniform power spectrum analysis was performed on the received interference signals to determine its main frequency. Then,a least squares curve fitting was applied on the interference signal power to extract its phase. The relationship between the soil moisture and the phase was then determined. Two months of experimental data were collected at BaoXie,Wuhan and analyzed for further inversion.Experimental results show that the phase of the interference signals increases with the increase of soil moisture. The correlation coefficient between the phase and the in-situ soil moisture value is approximately 0.8.Finally,the relationship between the phase and soil moisture is employed to estimate soil moisture. Results show that using BDS-R to measure soil moisture is feasible, which demonstrates a great potential of new application of the BD system.YAN SongHua ZHAO Fen CHEN NengCheng GONG JianYa 2016Science China(Information Sciences)2016,59,12:3
Functoriality of automorphic L-functions through their zeros显示文摘Let E be a Galois extension of Q of degree , not necessarily solvable. In this paper we first prove that the L-function L(s,π) attached to an automorphic cuspidal representation π of GLm(EA) cannot be factored nontrivially into a product of L-functions over E. Next, we compare the n-level correlation of normalized nontrivial zeros of L(s,π1)···L(s,πk), where πj, j = 1,...,k, are automorphic cuspidal representations of GLmj(QA), with that of L(s,π). We prove a necessary condition for L(s,π) having a factorization into a product of L-functions attached to automorphic cuspidal representations of specific GLmj(QA), j = 1,...,k. In particular, if π is not invariant under the action of any nontrivial σ∈ GalE/Q, then L(s,π) must equal a single L-function attached to a cuspidal representation of GLm (QA) and π has an automorphic induction, provided L(s,π) can factored into a product of L-functions over Q. As E is not assumed to be solvable over Q, our results are beyond the scope of the current theory of base change and automorphic induction. Our results are unconditional when m,m1,...,mk are small, but are under Hypothesis H and a bound toward the Ramanujan conjecture in other cases.LIU JianYa YE YangBo 2009Science China Mathematics2009,52,1:2
