| 1 | Flexible electronics based on one-dimensional inorganic semiconductor nanowires and two-dimensional transition metal dichalcogenides显示文摘Flexible electronics technology is considered as a revolutionary technology to unlock the bottleneck of traditional rigid electronics that prevalent for decades, thereby fueling the next-generation electronics. In the past few decades, the research on flexible electronic devices based on organic materials has witnessed rapid development and substantial achievements, and inorganic semiconductors are also now beginning to shine in the field of flexible electronics. As validated by the latest research, some of the inorganic semiconductors, particularly those at low dimension, unexpectedly exhibited excellent mechanical flexibility on top of superior electrical properties.Herein,we bring together a comprehensive analysis on the recently burgeoning low-dimension inorganic semiconductor materials in flexible electronics, including one-dimensional(1D)inorganic semiconductor nanowires(NWs)and two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDs).The fundamental electrical properties, optical properties, mechanical properties and strain engineering of materials, and their performance in flexible device applications are discussed in detail. We also propose current challenges and predict future development directions including material synthesis and device fabrication and integration. | Kang Chen Junan Pan Weinan Yin Chiyu Ma Longlu Wang | 2023 | Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,11: | 1 |
| 2 | External field assisted hydrogen evolution reaction显示文摘As a clean, efficient, and sustainable energy, hydrogen is expected to replace traditional fossil energy.A series of studies focusing on morphology regulation, surface modification, and structural reconstruction have been devoted to improving the intrinsic catalytic activity of non-noble metal catalysts. However, complex system structure design and the mutual interference of various chemical components would hinder the further improvement of hydrogen evolution performance. In recent years, external field assisted hydrogen evolution reaction(HER)has become a new research hotspot.Herein,we systematically summarize the promoting effects of various external fields on catalytic hydrogen production from the aspects of system design and catalytic mechanism, including electric field, thermal field, optical field, magnetic field, and acoustic field.Ultimately,we discuss the key challenges facing this external field regulation strategy and put forward the prospect of future research topics. We sincerely expect that this review could not only provide a new insight into the basic mechanism of external-assisted catalysis, but also promote further research on improving HER performance from a more diverse and comprehensive perspective. | Jingwen Li Weinan Yin Junan Pan Yingbo Zhang Fengshun Wang Longlu Wang Qiang Zhao | 2023 | Nano Research2023,16,7: | 1 |

| 5 | Revealing sodium storage mechanism of hard carbon anodes through in-situ investigation of mechano-electrochemical coupling behavior显示文摘Hard carbon(HC)is considered a promising anode material for sodium-ion batteries due to its relatively low price and high specific capacity. However,HC still suffers from unclear reaction mechanisms and unsatisfactory cycling stability. The study of mechano-electrochemical coupling behavior by in-situ measurement techniques is expected to understand the sodium storage and degradation mechanisms. In this paper, the strain and stress evolution of HC anodes at different sodiation/desodiation depths and cycles are investigated by combining electrochemical methods, digital image correlation, and theoretical equations. The observation by monitoring the in-situ strain evolution during the redox process supports the“adsorption-intercalation/filling”mechanism in reduction and the“de-filling/de-intercalation-deso rption”mechanism in oxidation.Further studies have demonstrated that the strain and stress of the electrode show periodic changes accompanied by a continuous accumulation of residual stress during cycles, explaining the capacity degradation mechanism of HC from a mechanical perspective. In addition, when the higher current density is applied, the electrodes experience greater strain and stress associated with the Na+insertion rate. This work clarifies the Na-storage mechanism and the mechano-electrochemical coupling mechanism of HC anodes by in-situ strain measurement, which helps optimize and design the anode materials of sodium-ion batteries from the perspective of interface microstructure and multi-field coupling, such as in situ integrated interface structure design. | Mei Yang Zhenya Luo Xiao Wang Xinxin Cao Weiguo Mao Yong Pan Cuiying Dai Junan Pan | 2023 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,11: | 0 |
