| 1 | Utilization of Coal Fly Ash for the Production of Glass-ceramics With Unique Performances: A Brief Review显示文摘Coal fly ash is an industrial by-product generated during the combustion of coal for energy production. Due to the increasing annual consumption of coal power and the serious potential environmental threats of coal fly ash, a considerable amount of research on the utilization of coal fly ash has been undertaken worldwide. Vitrification seems to be one of the most promising options for reusing this industrial waste. This paper presents a short overview of the production of unique high performance glass-ceramics using coal fly ash as a raw material. A detailed description of the methodologies for the synthesis of glass-ceramics from coal fly ash and the principal crystal phases, corresponding property and possible usage of those materials are introduced. Investigations revealed that converting coal fly ash into high performance glass-ceramic materials is a promising new approach to improve the utilization of this industrial by-product. | 4 | PAPR reduction for FBMC-OQAM systems using P-PTS scheme显示文摘Filter bank multi-carrier(FBMC) with offset quadrature amplitude modulation(OQAM) has been regarded as one of the candidates for next generation broadband wireless communication systems. Being a multi-carrier technique, FBMC suffers from the inherent drawback of high peak-to-average power ratio(PAPR). And it has been turned out that conventional PAPR reduction schemes for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) systems are ineffective for FBMC-OQAM systems, due to the overlapping structure of FBMC-OQAM signals. In this paper, we propose an efficient PAPR reduction scheme based on a two-step optimization structure, named pretreated partial transmit sequence(P-PTS). The first step uses a multiple overlapping symbols joint optimization scheme that the phase rotation sequences for current symbol is determined and optimized according to previous overlapped symbols. And in the second step, it employs a novel segment PAPR reduction scheme based on PTS technique. | 5 | Supramolecular assembly of three d^(10) metal coordination polymers based on the naphthalene-1,8-dicarboxylate ligand:Syntheses,structures and luminescent properties显示文摘Three d10 tetranuclear complexes,Cd 4(1,8-nap) 4(2,2′-bipy) 4(H2O) 8·6H2O(1,8-nap=naphthalene-1,8-dicarboxylate and 2,2′bipy=2,2′-bipyridine)(1),Cd4(1,8-nap) 4(2,2′-bipy) 4(H2O) 8·6H2O(2) andZn4(1,8-nap) 4(2,2′-bipy) 4(H2O) 4·2H2O(3),have been synthesized under hydrothermal conditions and characterized by elemental analyses,IR and X-ray diffraction techniques. | 6 | Photometric Redshifts and Galaxy Clusters for DES DR2, DESI DR9, and HSC-SSP PDR3 Data显示文摘Photometric redshift(photoz)is a fundamental parameter for multi-wavelength photometric surveys,while galaxy clusters are important cosmological probes and ideal objects for exploring the dense environmental impact on galaxy evolution.We extend our previous work on estimating photoz and detecting galaxy clusters to the latest data releases of the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument(DESI)imaging surveys,Dark Energy Survey(DES)and Hyper Suprime-Cam Subaru Strategic Program(HSC-SSP)imaging surveys and make corresponding catalogs publicly available for more extensive scientific applications.The photoz catalogs include accurate measurements of photoz and stellar mass for about 320,293and 134 million galaxies with r<23,i<24 and i<25 in DESI DR9,DES DR2 and HSC-SSP PDR3 data,respectively.The photoz accuracy is about 0.017,0.024 and 0.029 and the general redshift coverage is z<1,z<1.2 and z<1.6,respectively for those three surveys.The uncertainty of the logarithmic stellar mass that is inferred from stellar population synthesis fitting is about 0.2 dex.With the above photoz catalogs,galaxy clusters are detected using a fast cluster-finding algorithm.A total of 532,810,86,963 and 36,566 galaxy clusters with the number of members larger than 10 is discovered for DESI,DES and HSC-SSP,respectively.Their photoz accuracy is at the level of 0.01.The total mass of our clusters is also estimated by using the calibration relations between the optical richness and the mass measurement from X-ray and radio observations.The photoz and cluster catalogs are available at Science DB(https://www.doi.org/10.11922/sciencedb.o00069.00003)and Paper Data Repository(https://doi.org/10.12149/101089). | Hu Zou Jipeng Sui Suijian Xue Xu Zhou Jun Ma Zhimin Zhou Jundan Nie Tianmeng Zhang Lu Feng Zhixia Shen Jiali Wang | 2022 | Research in Astronomy and Astrophysics2022,22,6: | 0 |
