1Land use changes and their relations with carbon cycles over the past 300 a in China显示文摘Land use and land cover in China have changed greatly during the past 300 a, indicated by the rapid abrupt decrease of forest land area and the rapid increase of cropland area, which can affect terrestrial carbon cycle greatly. The first-hand materials are used to analyze main characteristics for land use and land cover changes in China during the study period. The following conclusions can be drawn from this study. The cropland area in China kept increasing from 60.78×106 hm2 in 1661 to 96.09×106 hm2 in 1998. Correspondingly, the forest land area decreased from 248.13×106 hm2 in 1700 to 109.01×106 hm2 in 1949. Affected by such changes, the terrestrial ecosystem carbon storage decreased in the mean time. Car-bon lost from land use and land cover changes mainly consist of the loss from vegetation biomass and soil. In the past 300 a, about 3.70 PgC was lost from vegetation biomass, and emissions from soil ranged from 0.80 to 5.84 PgC. The moderate evaluation of soil losses was 2.48 PgC. The total loss from vegetation and soil was between 4.50 and 9.54 PgC. The moderate and optimum evaluation was 6.18 PgC. Such carbon losses distribution varied spatially from region to region. Carbon lost more significantly in Northeast China and Southwest China than in other regions, because losses of forest land in these two regions were far greater than in the other regions during the past 300 a. And losses of carbon in the other regions were also definite, such as Inner Mongolia, the western part of South China, the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, and the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. But the carbon lost very little from the traditional agricultural regions in China, such as North China and East China. 2The spatiotemporal characteristics of spring phenophase changes of Fraxinus chinensis in China from 1952 to 2007显示文摘We selected widely distributed and well observed plant species Fraxinus chinensis to study the formation mechanism of geographical distribution of the plant phenophase changes and revealed their spatiotemporal dynamics in China. Based on the first leaf date (FLD) data at 12 sites derived from Chinese Phenological Observation Network (CPON) and related meteorological data, we developed and validated the process-based model of FLD for Fraxinus chinensis. After reconstructing data series of FLD for Fraxinus chinensis over the study area from 1952 to 2007, we analyzed different spatiotemporal patterns of phenophase changes of this species. The results suggested that the process-based model was able to simulate the FLD accurately for Fraxinus chinensis on large spatial and temporal scales, because of the consideration of different budding rate responded to the air temperatures during the dormancy and the quiescence in accordance with the physiological mechanism of plants. The geographical distribution of the spring phenology in temperate regions was determined by the spatial pattern of daily average air temperature. The changes of FLD for Fraxinus chinensis revealed significant phenological advances in most areas. However, it showed delayed trends in a few sites. The overall average change trend was 1.1 days/decade. This result was consistent with the advanced trend in other regions of the North Hemisphere. The changes of FLD showed a noticeable regional variation with clearer advance in the north than in the south. The FLD in northern China showed an average advance as high as 2.0 days/decade (P<0.01). And the advance in northeastern and northwestern China was respectively 1.5 and 1.4 days/decade (P<0.01). Furthermore, eastern and central regions showed a minor trend, which was 1.0 days/decade (P<0.05). 3Frequency comparative study of coal-fired fly ash acoustic agglomeration显示文摘Particulate pollution is main kind of atmospheric pollution.The fine particles are seriously harmful to human health and environment.Acoustic agglomeration is considered as a promising pretreatment technology for fine particle agglomeration.The mechanisms of acoustic agglomeration are very complex and the agglomeration efficiency is affected by many factors.The most important and controversial factor is frequency.Comparative studies between high-frequency and low-frequency sound source to agglomerate coal- fired fly ash were carried out to investigate the influence of frequency on agglomeration efficiency.Acoustic agglomeration theoretical analysis,experimental particle size distributions (PSDs) and orthogonal design were examined.The results showed that the 20 kHz high-frequency sound source was not suitable to agglomerate coal-fired fly ash.Only within the size ranging from 0.2 to 0.25 μm the particles agglomerated to adhere together,and the agglomerated particles were smaller than 2.5 μm.The application of low-frequency (1000-1800 Hz) sound source was proved as an advisable pretreatment with the highest agglomeration efficiency of 75.3%,and all the number concentrations within the measuring range decreased.Orthogonal design L16 (4) 3 was introduced to determine the optimum frequency and optimize acoustic agglomeration condition.According to the results of orthogonal analysis,frequency was the dominant factor of coal-fired fly ash acoustic agglomeration and the optimum frequency was 1400 Hz.Jianzhong Liu Jie Wang Guangxue Zhang Junhu Zhou Kefa Cen 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,11:13

5Experimental Study on the Characteristics of CO_2 Hydrate Formation in Porous Media below Freezing Point显示文摘Porous medium has an obvious effect on the formation of carbon dioxide hydrate. In order to study the characteristics of CO2 hydrate formation in porous medium below the freezing point, the experiment of CO2 hydrate formation was conducted in a high-pressure 1.8-L cell in the presence of porous media with a particle size of 380 μm, 500 μm and 700 μm, respectively. The test results showed that the porous medium had an important influence on the process of CO2 hydrate formation below the freezing point. Compared with porous media with a particle size of 500 μm and 700 μm, respectively, the average hydrate formation rate and gas storage capacity of carbon dioxide hydrate in the porous medium with a particle size of 380 μm attained 0.016 14 mol/h and 65.094 L/L, respectively. 6Rumen microbiome structure and metabolites activity in dairy cows with clinical and subclinical mastitis显示文摘Background:Due to the high prevalence and complex etiology,bovine mastitis(BM)is one of the most important diseases to compromise dairy cow health and milk quality.The shift in milk compositions has been widely investigated during mastitis,but recent studies suggested that gastrointestinal microorganism also has a crucial effect on the inflammation of other peripheral tissues and organs,including the mammary gland.However,research focused on the variation of rumen inner-environment during mastitis is still limited.Therefore,the ruminal microbial profiles,metabolites,and milk compositions in cows with different udder health conditions were compared in the present study.Furthermore,the correlations between udder health status and ruminal conditions were investigated.Based on the somatic cell counts(SCC),California mastitis test(CMT)parameters and clinical symptoms of mastitis,60 lactating Holstein dairy cows with similar body conditions(excepted for the udder health condition)were randomly divided into 3 groups(n=20 per group)including the healthy(H)group,the subclinical mastitis(SM)group and the clinical mastitis(CM)group.Lactation performance and rumen fermentation parameters were recorded.And rumen microbiota and metabolites were also analyzed via 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing and untargeted metabolomics,respectively.Results:As the degree of mastitis increased,rumen lactic acid(LA)(P<0.01),acetate,propionate,butyrate,valerate(P<0.001),and total volatile fatty acids(TVFAs)(P<0.01)concentrations were significantly decreased.In the rumen of CM cows,the significantly increased bacteria related to intestinal and oral inflammation,such as Lachnospiraceae(FDR-adjusted P=0.039),Moraxella(FDR-adjusted P=0.011)and Neisseriaceae(FDR-adjusted P=0.036),etc.,were accompanied by a significant increase in 12-oxo-20-dihydroxy-leukotriene B4(FDR-adjusted P=5.97×10^(−9))and 10beta-hydroxy-6beta-isobutyrylfuranoeremophilane(FDR-adjusted P=3.88×10^(−10)).Meanwhile,in the rumen of SM cows,the Ruminiclostridium_9(FDR-adjusted P=0.042)and Enterorhabdus(FDR-adjusted P=0.043)were increased along with increasing methenamine(FDR-adjusted P=6.95×10^(−6)),5-hydroxymethyl-2-furancarboxaldehyde(5-HMF)(FDR-adjusted P=2.02×10^(−6))and 6-methoxymellein(FDR-adjusted P=2.57×10^(−5)).The short-chain fatty acids(SCFAs)-producing bacteria and probiotics in rumen,including Prevoterotoella_1(FDRadjusted P=0.045)and Bifidobacterium(FDR-adjusted P=0.035),etc.,were significantly reduced,with decreasing 2-phenylbutyric acid(2-PBA)(FDR-adjusted P=4.37×10^(−6)).Conclusion:The results indicated that there was a significant shift in the ruminal microflora and metabolites associated with inflammation and immune responses during CM.Moreover,in the rumen of cows affected by SM,the relative abundance of several opportunistic pathogens and the level of metabolites which could produce antibacterial compounds or had a competitive inhibitory effect were all increased.Yue Wang Xuemei Nan Yiguang Zhao Linshu Jiang Mengling Wang Hui Wang Fan Zhang Fuguang Xue Dengke Hua Jun Liu Junhu Yao Benhai Xiong 2021Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2021,12,3:6
7LES investigation of swirl intensity effect on unconfined turbulent swirling premixed flame显示文摘A finite reaction rate model is presented as a closure of large eddy simulation(LES) to numerically study an open premixed methane/air swirling flame. The resultant model is firstly validated by comparing with reported data and then employed to investigate the effect of swirling intensity on flow field, flame characteristics and combustion instability of the swirling flame. Three different swirl numbers are considered. The LES results show that as swirling intensity increases, the vortex entrainment and micro-mixing are enhanced, leading to more lean equivalent ratios at flame front; consequently, higher swirling number causes lower flame temperatures and slower CO oxidization; for all simulated swirl numbers,flame fronts are completely located out of the recirculation zones and anchored at the inner surface of the annular swirling steams; swirl number has a crucial effect on swirling flame extension toward radial and tangential dimensions and then significantly affects streamwise flame length, which is a great influencing factor on combustion instability; vortex-induced disturbance on flame in streamwise plays a critical role in combustion instability.Zhihua Wang Yanwei Xu Yu L Zhijun Zhou Junhu Zhou Kefa Cen 2014Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,33:6
8Premixed jet flame characteristics of syngas using OH planar laser induced fluorescence显示文摘Lean premixed flame characteristics of several typical low calorific value (LCV) syngases (basis CO/H2/CH4/CO2/N2),including bituminous coal,wood residue,corn core,and wheat straw gasification syngas,were investigated using OH planar laser induced fluorescence (PLIF) technology.OH radical distributions within the turbulent flame were measured for different turbulence intensities.Flame structures of syngases were analyzed and characterized with respect to burnt and unburnt regions,flame curvature (sharp cusp),local extinction (holes and penetration),OH reaction layer thickness,wrinkling,and other features,with OH-PLIF instantaneous images and statistical analysis.Results show that H2 content,LCV,and turbulence intensity are the most effective factors influencing the OH radical intensity and thickness of OH radical layers.The bituminous coal gasification syngas with relatively higher LCV and H2 content tends to burn out easily.Through changes in thickness of the OH radical layers and signal intensities,the reaction layer can be compressed by intensifying turbulence and thereby the combustion processes of syngas.YANG Li WANG ZhiHua ZHU YanQun LI ZhongShan ZHOU JunHu HUANG ZhenYu CEN KeFa 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,26:5
9Controlled growth and photoluminescence of highly oriented arrays of ZnO nanocones with different diameters显示文摘Large-scale oriented ZnO nanocone arrays were directly grown on zinc substrate through a hydro-thermal reaction of Zn foil with aqueous butylamine solution(3 mol/L) at 100-180 ℃ for 12 h.The syn-thesized products were characterized with X-ray diffraction,Raman spectrum,scanning electron mi-croscopy and transmission electron microscopy.The results showed that the ZnO nanocones were single crystalline with the wurtzite structure and grown along the [0001] direction.The diameter of nanocones is decreased with increasing the reaction temperature.A possible growth mechanism was also proposed to account for the formation of the ZnO nanocone arrays.The photoluminescence spectra of the ZnO nanocone arrays were studied at room temperature,two UV emission bands at 377 and 396 nm assigned to free exciton emission and exciton-exciton collision,respectively,and phonon replicas associated with 2-E2 phonon were observed in the PL spectra.MA JunHu YANG HeQing SONG YuZhe LI Li XIE XiaoLi LIU RuiNi WANG LinFang 2009Science China(Technological Sciences)2009,52,5:4
10Water-driven photoluminescence reversibility in CsPbBr_(3)/PDMSPUa composite显示文摘Strong ionic character endows all-inorganic perovskite nanocrystals(NCs)with particular optoelectronic features when interacting with common polar solvents,such as water.However,the interaction mechanism of water affecting perovskite NCs is still lack of in-depth understanding.This study systematically explores the roles of water on CsPbBr_(3) nanocrystals(CNCs)by finely controlling the polymer coating degree of polydimethylsiloxane-based polyurea(PDMS-PUa).Through this coating,the effect of water on CNCs is found to experience from“fluorescence quenching”owing to irreversible crystal decomposition towards“forward fluorescence reversibility”by crystal destruction and recrystallization.With gradually enhanced coating,a phenomenon of“reverse fluorescence reversibility”is further observed in that water begins to passivate the CNCs’defect states.Finally,“fluorescent balance”can be achieved with a thick enough coating,where water can hardly contact with the CNCs.Inspired by the fluorescence reversible mechanism discovered,a new wearable intelligent sensing skin is demonstrated by using the CsPbBr_(3)/PDMS-PUa composite as raw material.Both water contact and humidity change can be perceived through photoluminescence(PL)intensity,corresponding to stimuli-responsive sensory nerves of human skin.It is expected that these findings will shed some new lights on perovskite NCs.Junhu Cai Chenhui Wang Xinpei Hu Yuanyuan Ye Lijuan Zhong Enguo Chen Yun Ye Sheng Xu Jie Sun Qun Yan Tailiang Guo 2022Nano Research2022,15,7:4
11Solid phase microwave-assisted fabrication of Fe-doped ZIF-8 for single-atom Fe-N-C electrocatalysts on oxygen reduction显示文摘Fe-N-C endowed with inexpensiveness,high activity,and excellent anti-poisoning power have emerged as promising candidate catalysts for oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Single-atom Fe-N-C electrocatalysts derived from Fe-doped ZIF-8 represent the top-level ORR performance.However,the current fabrication of Fe-doped ZIF-8 relies on heavy consumption of time,energy,cost and organic solvents.Herein,we develop a rapid and solvent-free method to produce Fe-doped ZIF-8 under microwave irradiation,which can be easily amplified in combination with ball-milling.After rational pyrolysis,Fe-N-C catalysts with atomic FeN4 sites well dispersed on the hierarchically porous carbon matrix are obtained,which exhibit exceptional ORR performance with a half-wave potential of 0.782 V(vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE))and brilliant methanol tolerance.The assembled direct methanol fuel cells(DMFCs)endow a peak power density of 61 mW cm^(-2) and extraordinary stability,highlighting the application perspective of this strategy.Xinlong Xu Xiaoming Zhang Zhangxun Xia Ruili Sun Huanqiao Li Junhu Wang Shansheng Yu Suli Wang Gongquan Sun 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3:2
12Effects of the physical and chemical properties of petroleum coke on its slurryability显示文摘In this study, the effects of particle size distribution (PSD), chemical composition and pore structure of petroleum coke on the slurryability of petroleum coke water slurry (PCWS) were investigated. Four petroleum cokes were studied, and they showed completely different slurryability. The solid concentration at fixed viscosity (i.e. apparent viscosity of 1000 mPa) (SCFV) of four PCWSs is different from each other, with the highest value of 70.9%, and lowest of 62.1%. The apparent viscosity of the four PCWSs all increased with an increase of the solid concentration. The results showed that the PSD, inherent moisture content, specific surface area and pore volume of petroleum coke were key factors to affect the slurryability. 13Topotactically constructed nickel-iron(oxy)hydroxide with abundant in-situ produced high-valent iron species for efficient water oxidation显示文摘The low efficiency of oxygen evolution reaction(OER) is regarded as one of the major roadblocks for metal-air batteries and water electrolysis.Herein,a high-performance OER catalyst of NiFe_(0.2)(oxy)hydroxide(NiFe_(0.2)-O_(x)H_(y)) was developed through topotactic transformation of a Prussian blue analogue in an alkaline solution,which exhibits a low overpotential of only 263 mV to reach a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2) and a small Tafel slope of 35 mV dec-1.Ex-situ/operando Raman spectroscopy results indicated that the phase structure of NiFe_(0.2)-O_(x)H_(y) was irreversibly transformed from the type of α-Ni(OH)_(2) to γ-NiOOH with applying an anodic potential,while ex-situ/operando 57Fe Mossbauer spectroscopic studies evidenced the in-situ production of abundant high-valent iron species under OER conditions,which effectively promoted the OER catalysis.Our work elucidates that the amount of high-valent iron species in-situ produced in the NiFe(oxy)hydroxide has a positive correlation with its water oxidation reaction performance,which further deepens the understanding of the mechanism of NiFe-based electrocatalysts.Zhichong Kuang Song Liu Xuning Li Meng Wang Xinyi Ren Jie Ding Rile Ge Wenhui Zhou Alexandre IRykov Moulay TSougrati Pierre-Emmanuel Lippens Yanqiang Huang Junhu Wang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:2

15Direct numerical simulation of hydrogen turbulent lifted jet flame in a vitiated coflow显示文摘The direct numerical simulation (DNS) method with 16 steps detailed chemical kinetics was applied to a lifted turbulent jet flame with H2/N2 fuel issuing into a wide hot coflow of lean combustion products,at temperature of 1045 K and low oxygen concentrations. The chemical reactions were handled by the library function of CHEMKIN which was called by the main program in every time step. Parallel com-putational technology based on message passing interface method (MPI) was used in the simulation. All the cases were run by 12 CPUs on a high performance computer system. Faver-averaged DNS re-sults were obtained by long time averaging the transient profile and compared with the experimental data. The roll-up and evolution of the vortices in jet flame were well captured. The vortices in the same rotating direction attracted each other and those in different rotating directions repulsed each other. Through complex interactions between vortices,the original symmetrical vortex structure could be converted into nonsymmetrical and more complex structures by combination,distortion and splitting of the vortices. The transient profiles of H,OH and H2O mass fraction at 5.76 ms showed the flame structure in jet flame,especially the autoignition regions clearly. The lift-off height was about 9 d―11 d,in agreement with the experimental observation. At the corner point of the flame sheet indicated by OH and H profiles,the combustion was always enhanced by the flame curvature and extended resident time. The profiles of turbulence intensities show that the flames were diffused from the original two outside flame sheets into the core. 18Classification of Country Patterns in the World Based on Their Levels of Economy and Emission Process of Greenhouse Gases显示文摘According to the authoritative data involving social economic indicators and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission from the international universal database,the levels and processes of economic development and GHG emission in major economic groups,nations and regions of the world are simultaneously analyzed.Obtaining Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and emission per capita from various countries and regions in the past 40 years as the standard,countries and regions in the world are divided into six groups:countries with low emission per capita and low economic level (IA),countries with low emission per capita and medium economic level (IIA),countries with low emission per capita and high economic level (IIIA),countries with high emission per capita and medium economic level (IIB),countries with high emission per capita and high economic level (IIIB),countries with high emission per capita and low economic level (IB).Countries belong to IB are quite rare in the study period,while the first five groups correspond to the poor regions,main developing countries,economically transitional countries with rapid economic development,rich islands and developed North America and Europe respectively.Data analysis shows that there is a close relationship between emission and economic development of different countries and regions.The composition relationship between economic development of different countries and regions is relatively stable over a long period of time.From 1970 to 2005,rising trends existed in the economic development of most countries and regions.However,the emission had a significant increase in a small part of countries and regions.In other words,for those with high emission,the emission level is always high.But for those with low GHG emission,the emission does not increase too much.The main processes of the change of countries pattern from IA to IIA and from II B to IIIB,occurring in the 1970s and from the late 1970s to the 1980s respectively.That result has a significant enlightening effect in understanding the relationship between emission and economic development and its historical process of various countries and in choosing the position of our country in the future climate diplomatic negotiations.Dai Junhu Ge Quansheng Xiao Shufang Wang Mengmai 2011Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2011,9,4:1
