| 1 | A modified method of discontinuity trace mapping using three-dimensional point clouds of rock mass surfaces显示文摘This paper presents an automated method for discontinuity trace mapping using three-dimensional point clouds of rock mass surfaces.Specifically,the method consists of five steps:(1)detection of trace feature points by normal tensor voting theory,(2)co ntraction of trace feature points,(3)connection of trace feature points,(4)linearization of trace segments,and(5)connection of trace segments.A sensitivity analysis was then conducted to identify the optimal parameters of the proposed method.Three field cases,a natural rock mass outcrop and two excavated rock tunnel surfaces,were analyzed using the proposed method to evaluate its validity and efficiency.The results show that the proposed method is more efficient and accurate than the traditional trace mapping method,and the efficiency enhancement is more robust as the number of feature points increases. | Keshen Zhang Wei Wu Hehua Zhu Lianyang Zhang Xiaojun Li Hong Zhang | 2020 | Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2020,12,3: | 6 |
| 2 | Injectable melatonin-loaded carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCS)-based hydrogel accelerates wound healing by reducing inflammation and promoting angiogenesis and collagen deposition显示文摘Carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCS)-based hydrogels have antibacterial activity,and have shown the abilities of preventing wound infection,promoting cell proliferation,accelerating collagen deposition,and stimulating hyaluronic acid formation during wound healing.As a hormone produced by the pineal gland in humans and animals,melatonin promotes skin wound healing by regulating the release of inflammatory mediators and accelerating the proliferation and migration of cells,angiogenesis,and collagen deposition.However,the combined effects of CMCS and melatonin on wound healing remain unclear.Injectable CMCS-based hydrogels containing melatonin were prepared,and their healing effects were evaluated using a full-thickness cutaneous wound model in rats.Compared with the control and the hydrogel with no melatonin groups,the melatonin-loaded hydrogel significantly increased the percentage of wound closure,promoted the proliferation of granulation tissue and re-epithelialization,and accelerated collagen deposition.Additionally,the melatonin-loaded hydrogel promoted angiogenesis and vascular endothelial growth factor receptor protein expression and increased the expression of cyclooxygenase-2 and inducible nitric oxide synthase.The melatonin-loaded hydrogel also markedly increased the expression of collagen III,α-smooth muscle actin,and transforming growth factor-β1 proteins and reduced collagen I expression.These results suggest that the melatonin-loaded hydrogel promoted granulation tissue formation and accelerated wound healing by reducing inflammation and promoting angiogenesis and collagen deposition. | Kai Chen Changci Tong Jinge Yang Peifang Cong Ying Liu Xiuyun Shi Xu Liu Jun Zhang Rufei Zou Keshen Xiao Yuyang Ni Lei Xu Mingxiao Hou Hongxu Jin Yunen Liu | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,4: | 2 |

| 17 | 人类无细胞真皮在脐疝外科治疗中的应用显示文摘Purpose: The management of giant omphalocele presents a major challenge to pediatric surgeons. Current treatment modalities often result in wound infection, fascial separation, and abdominal domain loss. Human acellular dermis (Allo-Derm), as a primary abdominal fascial substitute, may prevent these complications. We present our experience with its application in neonates with giant omphalocele. Methods: Charts of patients with giant omphalocele from January 2003 to September 2004 were reviewed and data collected regarding wound healing, rate of infection, ventilatory support, and outcome. Results: Three neonates underwent abdominal wall closure with Allo-Derm (gestati- onal ages: 38, 37, and 28 weeks; birthweights 2880, 2640, and 1160 g, respectively). All had cardiac anomal- ies; 1 required cardiac surgery and 1 was ventilatordependent, secondary to pulmonary hypoplasia. Omphalocele repair was performed on day-of-life 9, 2, and 87. No fascial dehiscence or infection was encountered. Neovascularization was noted by day 7. Two died of cardiopulmonary disease (6 months and 1 year). The third exhibited normal growth and development without complication. Conclusions: Allo-Derm provides visceral coverage without compromising cardiopulmonary function, diminishing abdominal domain, or requiring multiple operations, allowing prompt treatment of associated anomalies. Allo-Derm represents an exciting alternative in the treatment of giant omphalocele. Further study is required to determine long-term benefits. | Kapfer S.A.
