1Semi-hot Stamping as an Improved Process of Hot Stamping显示文摘Reducing the forming load,deletion of springback,increasing the formability of sheets as well as producing high strength parts are the main reasons to apply hot stamping process.Hot stamping process and 22MnB5 steels are the state of the art process and grades,respectively;however novel processes and steel grades are under considerations.In the current research,behavior of the steel grade MSW1200 blanks under semi and fully hot stamping processes was characterized.During semi-hot stamping process,the blank was firstly heated to a temperature of about 650℃ and then formed and quenched in the die assembly,simultaneously.Microstructure and mechanical properties of semi and fully hot stamped blanks were studied and the results were compared with those of normally water/air quenched blanks.The hot stamped blanks attained the strength values as high as water quenched blanks.The highest ductility and consequently,the best formability were achieved for the blank which had been semi-hot stamped.It was concluded that for the mentioned steel,semi-hot stamping process could be considered as an improved thermo-mechanical process which not only guaranteed a high formability,but also led to ultra high strength values.Malek Naderi Mostafa Ketabchi Mahmoud Abbasi Wolfgang Bleck 2011Journal of Materials Science & Technology2011,27,4:15
2High Temperature Deformation Behavior of 4340 Steel: Activation Energy Calculation and Modeling of Flow Response显示文摘The 4340 steel is extensively utilized in several industries including automotive and aerospace for manufacturing a large number of structural components.Due to the importance of thermo-mechanical processing in the production of steels,the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)characteristics of 4340steel were investigated.Namely,hot compression tests on 4340steel have been performed in a temperature range of 900-1200℃and a strain rate range of 0.01-1s-1 and the strain of up to 0.9.The resulting flow stress curves show the occurrence of dynamic recrystallization.The flow stress values decrease with the increase of deformation temperature and the decrease of strain rate.The microstructure of 4340steel after deformation has been studied and it is suggested that the evolution of DRX grain structures can be accompanied by considerable migration of grain boundaries.The constitutive equations were developed to model the hot deformation behavior.Finally based on the classical stress-dislocation relations and the kinematics of the dynamic recrystallization;the flow stress constitutive equations for the dynamic recovery period and dynamic recrystallization period were derived for 4340steel,respectively.The validity of the model was demonstrated by demonstrating the experimental data with the numerical results with reasonable agreement.S V Sajadifar G G Yapici M Ketabchi B Bemanizadeh 2013Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2013,20,12:5
3Hot Deformation Characteristics of 34CrMo4 Steel显示文摘The 34CrMo4(AISI 4130)steel is extensively utilized in the compressed natural gas cylinders.Due to the importance of thermomechanical processing in the production of these cylinders,the dynamic recrystallization(DRX)characteristics of 34CrMo4 steel were investigated.The effect of hot deformation parameters such as temperature and strain rate on the dynamic restoration processes of a 34CrMo4 alloy was studied.Hot compression tests were performed in the temperature range of 900 to 1100 ℃ and the strain rate range of 0.001 to 0.1 s-1.Hot workability of this alloy has been analyzed by employing flow localization parameter.The flow curves observed are typical of occurrence of dynamic recrystallization and have exhibited single or multiple peaks in flow stress curve before reaching steady state,depending on the temperature and strain rates.The flow stress decreases with the increase of deformation temperature and the decrease of strain rate.Finally the activation energy obtained in this research is 490.749 kJ/mol.S V Sajadi Far M Ketabchi M R Nourani 2010Journal of Iron and Steel Research(International)2010,17,12:4

5搅拌摩擦焊接过程中搅拌针锥角和预热对温度分布的影响(英文)显示文摘搅拌摩擦焊(FSW)被广泛应用在工业上,用来连接有色金属,尤其是铝合金。采用基于有限元分析的三维模型研究FSW过程中铜C11000的热特性。模型包含了搅拌头的机械作用和待焊接材料的热性能,以材料和搅拌针以及轴肩之间的摩擦作为热源。结果表明,温度的预测结果与实验结果具有良好的一致性。此外,数值模拟方法可以简单地应用于测量搅拌头下方工件的温度。研究了预热温度和搅拌针锥角对温度分布的影响。搅拌针锥角的增加可提高焊缝周围的温度,但预热不会影响焊缝周围的温度分布。R.
