1Kinetics of the accumulation of group 2 innate lymphoid cells in IL-33-induced and IL-25-induced murine models of asthma:a potential role for the chemokine CXCL16显示文摘ILC2s are implicated in asthma pathogenesis, but little is known about the mechanisms underlying their accumulation in airways.We investigated the time course of ILC2 accumulation in different tissues in murine models of asthma induced by a serial per-nasalchallenge with ovalbumin (OVA), house dust mice (HDM), IL-25 and IL-33 and explored the potential roles of ILC2-attractingchemokines in this phenomenon. Flow cytometry was used to enumerate ILC2s at various time points. The effects of cytokines andchemokines on ILC2 migration were measured in vitro using a chemotaxis assay and in vivo using small animal imaging. Comparedwith saline and OVA challenge, both IL-25 and IL-33 challenge alone induced significant accumulation of ILC2s in the mediastinallymph nodes, lung tissue and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of challenged animals, but with a distinct potency and kinetics. In vitro,IL-33 and CXCL16, but not IL-25 or CCL25, directly induced ILC2 migration. Small animal in vivo imaging further confirmed that asingle intranasal provocation with IL-33 or CXCL16 was sufficient to induce the accumulation of ILC2s in the lungs followinginjection via the tail vein. Moreover, IL-33-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38, Akt, JNK and NF-κB, whileCXCL16-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38 and Akt. These data support the hypothesis that epitheliumderived IL-25 and IL-33 induce lung accumulation of ILC2s, while IL-33 exerts a direct chemotactic effect in this process. 5High-throughput development and applications of the compositional mechanical property map of the β titanium alloys显示文摘By a combination of the nanoindentation and electron probe microanalysis(EPMA)techniques,the traditional diffusion couple technique is extended to map the mechanical property of β-type Ti alloys over a wide composition range,which can be utilized to develop very versatile novel bio-Ti alloys for hard tissue re placements in arti ficial bones,joints,and dental implants.To create complete single-phase composition ranges of Ti-based bcc solid solution,12 types of bcc Ti-Nb-Zr-Mo/Ti-Nb-Zr-Ta quaternary diffusion couples were fabricated and annealed at 1273 K for 25 h.In this way,the composition-mechanical property relationships in the vast composition space of Ti-based alloys were established using EPMA and nanoindentation probes.Notably,the measured composition-dependent Young’s moduli,hardness,and elastic recovery as well as the derived ratio of hardness to Young’s modulus,and the ratio of the cube of hardness to the square of Young’s modulus,in the developed compositional mechanical property database,were visualized in a five-dimensional scatter plot.This enables an effective tool to screen the Ti-Nb-Zr-based alloys fororthopedic and dental applications according to different clinical requirements,and to rationalize the fundamental mechanical relationships in the rapid development of β-Ti alloys.Jinfeng Ling Dandan Huang Kewu Bai Wei Li Zhentao Yu Weimin Chen 2021Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,12:3
6Fractional Fourier domain equalization for single carrier broadband wireless systems显示文摘In this paper,a novel single carrier equalization approach in the fractional Fourier domain(FRFD) is proposed.It can remove all the inter-symbol interference(ISI) and avoid the considerable noise enhancement of the frequency domain-zero forcing(FD-ZF) equalizer.As the fractional Fourier transform makes a chirp spread,the impulse response of the deep fading channel may be flattened in some orders of the FRFD while it would be greatly attenuated in the FD.By searching for an optimal order under certain criterion,we take advantages of the ZF algorithm to mitigate the effects of the ISI completely.This approach can overcome the contradiction between the ISI mitigation and the noise enhancement of the FD-ZF equalizer.Theoretical analysis and simulation results show that the proposed FRFD-ZF equalizer can achieve a significant performance and have the same computation cost O(N log N) as the conventional FD linear equalizer,especially in the frequencyselective deep-fading channels.HUANG KeWu TAO Ran WANG Yue 2012Science China(Information Sciences)2012,55,10:2
