| 1 | Lakes' state and abundance across the Tibetan Plateau显示文摘Understanding the changes in number and areal extent of lakes,as well as their abundance and size distribution is important for assessments of regional and global water resources,biogeochemical cycles,and changes in climate.In this study,changes in lake area greater than 1 km2are mapped using Landsat datasets,spanning the 1970s,1990,2000,and 2010.In addition,high-resolution images(GeoCover Landsat mosaic 2000,with a pixel size of 14.25 m)are used for the first time to map lakes as small as 0.001 km2across the entire Tibetan Plateau(TP).Results show that the numbers and areal extent of individual lakes[1 km2in size show a slight decrease between the 1970s and 1990,followed by a clear increase from 1990 to 2010.Ninety-nine new lakes are identified between the 1970s and 2010,71 of which are found between 1990 and 2010.This indicates the accelerated glacier melt and/or increased difference of precipitation minus evaporation since the 1990s.More than 80%of the lakes show an increase in their area between the 1970s and2010.The lake census,using 2000 imagery,shows that there are 32,843 lakes with a total area of 43,151.08±411.49 km2,which makes up 1.4%of the total area of the TP.Around 96%of all lakes are small,with an area\1 km2,while the 1,204 large lakes([1 km2)account for96%of the total lake area.The TP is subdivided into 12greater drainage basins,and of these the inner TP dominates in terms of the number of lakes(55.03%),the total area of lakes(66%),and lake density(0.026/km2compared to the mean,0.011/km2).A plot of lake abundance against size shows that the size distribution of lakes departs from a typical power-law distribution,but displays such a distribution at the mean elevation(4,715 m),with an r2value of 0.97 and a slope of-0.66.The slopes of the abundance-size equations from each of the 12 greater basins,and from all basins together,are larger than-1,supporting the inference that larger lakes,rather than the small lakes,contribute more to the total lake surface area across the TP.The lake inventory provided in this study,along with the assessment of lake size distribution,have important implications for estimates of water balance,for water resource management,and for lake area estimations in the TP. | Guoqing Zhang Tong Yao Hongjie Xie Kexiang Zhang Fujing Zhu | 2014 | Chinese Science Bulletin2014,59,24: | 33 |

| 4 | A recommended rate for application of Chaetomium globosum ND35 fungus fertilizer on poplar plantations in China显示文摘Previous studies showed that Chaetomium globosum ND35 fungus fertilizer can improve the microbial community structure and enzyme activities of replanted soil.However, it remains unclear whether can improve the physiological and ecological characteristics of plants under successive rotation.In this study, we investigated the photosynthetic, physiological, and biochemical indexes including photosynthetic parameters, chlorophyll fluorescence, and chlorophyll content of 1-year-old poplar seedlings under seven different doses(range from 0 to1.67 g kg^(-1)) of C.globosum ND35 fungus fertilizer to study the effects of fungus fertilizer on photosynthesis of Poplar.Our results showed that:(1) With increasing application of fungus fertilizer in replanted soil, chlorophyll content of poplar leaves(Chl) increased, while physiological indexes such as electron transport rate(ETR),net photosynthetic rate(P_n), quantum efficiency(U),nitrate reductase(NR) activity and root vigor initially increased and then declined.Meanwhile, heat dissipation that depended on the xanthophyll cycle declined and nonphotochemical quenching(NPQ) initially increased and then decreased.When the dose of C.globosum ND35 fungus fertilizer was 0.67 g kg^(-1)(T3) and 1.00 g kg^(-1)(T4), excess light energy of photosynthetic apparatus was reduced, and photosynthetic apparatus distributed more light energy to the direction of photochemical reactions,which improved the efficiency of energy use.Plant height and biomass of leaves, stems, and roots were maximum at T3.We conclude that applying appropriate amounts of C.globosum ND35 fungus fertilizer can improve root physiological activity and capacity for use of light by poplar leaves.This can improve the operating states of the photosynthetic apparatus and lead to increased photosynthetic efficiency of poplar leaves and accumulation of dry matter.This suggests a strategy to alleviate the successive rotation obstacle of soil nutrient depletion. | Xuanxuan Xia Kexiang Gao Xianshuang Xing Rui Yang Shuyong Zhang Zilong Du Jing Guo Xia Liu | 2018 | Journal of Forestry Research2018,29,4: | 2 |

| 13 | Enhanced galloping energy harvester with cooperative mode of vibration and collision显示文摘The low power and narrow speed range remain bottlenecks that constrain the application of small-scale wind energy harvesting.This paper proposes a simple,lowcost,and reliable method to address these critical issues.A galloping energy harvester with the cooperative mode of vibration and collision(GEH-VC)is presented.A pair of curved boundaries attached with functional materials are introduced,which not only improve the performance of the vibration energy harvesting system,but also convert more mechanical energy into electrical energy during collision.The beam deforms and the piezoelectric energy harvester(PEH)generates electricity during the flow-induced vibration.In addition,the beam contacts and separates from the boundaries,and the triboelectric nanogenerator(TENG)generates electricity during the collision.In order to reduce the influence of the boundaries on the aerodynamic performance and the feasibility of increasing the working area of the TENG,a vertical structure is designed.When the wind speed is high,the curved boundaries maintain a stable amplitude of the vibration system and increase the frequency of the vibration system,thereby avoiding damage to the piezoelectric sheet and improving the electromechanical conversion efficiency,and the TENG works with the PEH to generate electricity.Since the boundaries can protect the PEH at high wind speeds,its stiffness can be designed to be low to start working at low wind speeds.The electromechanical coupling dynamic model is established according to the GEH-VC operating principle and is verified experimentally.The results show that the GEH-VC has a wide range of operating wind speeds,and the average power can be increased by 180%compared with the traditional galloping PEH.The GEH-VC prototype is demonstrated to power a commercial temperature sensor.This study provides a novel perspective on the design of hybrid electromechanical conversion mechanisms,that is,to combine and collaborate based on their respective characteristics. | Qiong WANG Zewen CHEN Linchuan ZHAO Meng LI Hongxiang ZOU Kexiang WEI Xizheng ZHANG Wenming ZHANG | 2022 | Applied Mathematics and Mechanics(English Edition)2022,43,7: | 0 |
| 14 | Implicit,But Not Explicit,Emotion Regulation Relieves Unpleasant Neural Responses Evoked by High-Intensity Negative Images显示文摘Evidence suggests that explicit reappraisal has limited regulatory effects on high-intensity emotions,mainly due to the depletion of cognitive resources occupied by the high-intensity emotional stimulus itself.The implicit form of reappraisal has proved to be resource-saving and therefore might be an ideal strategy to achieve the desired regulatory effect in high-intensity situations.In this study,we explored the regulatory effect of explicit and implicit reappraisal when participants encountered low-and high-intensity negative images.The subjective emotional rating indicated that both explicit and implicit reappraisal down-regulated negative experiences,irrespective of intensity.However,the amplitude of the parietal late positive potential(LPP;a neural index of experienced emotional intensity)showed that only implicit reappraisal had significant regulatory effects in the high-intensity context,though both explicit and implicit reappraisal successfully reduced the emotional neural responses elicited by low-intensity negative images.Meanwhile,implicit reappraisal led to a smaller frontal LPP amplitude(an index of cognitive cost)compared to explicit reappraisal,indicating that the implementation of implicit reappraisal consumes limited cognitive control resources.Furthermore,we found a prolonged effect of implicit emotion regulation introduced by training procedures.Taken together,these findings not only reveal that implicit reappraisal is suitable to relieve high-intensity negative experiences as well as neural responses,but also highlight the potential benefit of trained implicit regulation in clinical populations whose frontal control resources are limited. | Yueyao Zhang Sijin Li Kexiang Gao Yiwei Li Jiajin Yuan Dandan Zhang | 2023 | Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,8: | 0 |
