1Three-Dimensional Heat Transfer Analysis for A Thermal Energy Storage Canister显示文摘High temperature latent thermal storage is one of the critical techniques for a solar dynamic power system. This paper presents results from heat transfer analysis of a phase change salt containment canister A three-dimensional analysis program is developed to model heat transfer in a PCM canister. Analysis include effects of asymmetric circumference heat flux, conduction in canister walls, liquid PCM and solid PCM, void volume change and void location, and conduction and radiation across PCM vapor void. The PCM phase change process is modeled using the enthalpy method and the simulation results are compared with those of other two- dimensional investigations. It’s shown that there are large difference with two-dimensional analysis, therefore the three-dimensional model is necessary for system design of high temperature latent thermal storage.Hou Xinbin, Xin Yuming, Yang Chunxin, Yuan Xiugan (Dept.of Flight Vehicle Design and Applied Mechanics, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Beijing, 100083.) 8China’s pension system:achievements, challenges and future developments显示文摘This study focuses on the framework and achievements of China’s pension system, and analyses the long-term risk and institutional dilemmas.Because the existing pension system does not clearly define the responsibilities among the government, the market and the individuals, the main challenge facing China’s current pension system is the huge future fund gap and the difficulty in coping with the risk of an ageing population. The proposal for China’s pension scheme reformation is to establish a three-pillar pension system:transfer the social pooling account into a public pension as the first pillar;merge the refilled personal account by transferring the state-owned assets and the enterprise annuity into the occupational pension as the second pillar;and promote the tax deferral individual pension plan as the third pillar. The roles and functions of the government in the three-pillar pension system are different:for the first pillar,it is fully responsible for the system construction, management and funding security;for the second and the third pillar,it is responsible for system construction and operational supervision.Keyong Dong Gengyu Wang 2016Economic and Political Studies2016,4,4:0
9The bacterial small RNAs: The new biomarkers of oral microbiotaassociated cancers and diseases显示文摘The oral microbiota is a vital part of the human microbiota that functions in various physiological processes and ishighly relevant to cancers and other diseases. With the alterations of host immune competence, the homeostatic balanceexisting between the oral microbiota and host may be disturbed and result in the development of diseases. Numerousobservations have suggested that small RNAs are key regulators of bacterial pathogenesis and bacteria-host interactions.Further, bacterial small RNAs are considered to be promising biomarkers for the development of novel, and efficacioustherapies for oral dysbiosis. Mechanistic insights into how oral pathogens communicate with other bacteria or host cellsin oral cancers via small RNAs are hot topics of research. Current studies also have begun to elucidate the key role oforal microbiota in the development of systemic diseases. This article discusses existing findings and nascent mechanismsgoverning the small RNA-based interactions between oral microbiota and associated diseases. The knowledge of suchinteractions is key in planning approaches to reverse dysbiosis to achieve health.MENGYING MAO TING DONG YANJING LIANG KEYONG YUAN QIAOQIAO JIN PENGFEI ZHANG ZHENGWEI HUANG 2023BIOCELL2023,47,10:0
10Research and Inspiration on the Reform and Innovation ofSingapore Central Provident Fund Pension System to Cope Withthe Aging Population显示文摘From the perspective of dealing with the aging of the population, this paper conducts a more in-depth study on thereform and innovation of Singapore’s central provident fund pension system (CPFPS). The study concluded that: Inthe face of the aging population, Singapore continues to reform the CPFPS. Singapore established and improved amulti-pillar pension system, with the CPFPS as the main pillar, the Supplementary Retirement Scheme (SRS), theWorkfare Income Supplement Scheme (WISS) and the Housing Pension System (HPS) as the supplementarypillar. The reform and innovation of the CPFPS not only improved and enriched the pension system model, but alsoenhanced the sustainability of the pension system. The CPFPS has been combined with such social and economicpolicies as the SRS, WISS and HPS, thus realizing the diversification of pension accumulation, enhancing theadequacy of pension, and better coping with the aging population. Singapore’s practice of reforming and innovatingthe CPFPS in response to the aging population has certain reference and inspiration for the reform and innovationof pension system in China and other countries in the world.Xiao Jinxi Dong Keyong 2020Journal of US-China Public Administration2020,17,5:0
