| 1 | Joint Optimal Energy-Efficient Cooperative Spectrum Sensing and Transmission in Cognitive Radio显示文摘In order to improve the energy efficiency(EE) in cognitive radio(CR), a joint optimal energy-efficient cooperative spectrum sensing(CSS) and transmission in multi-channel CR is proposed in this paper. EE is described as a tradeoff between the throughput and the entirely consumed power. A joint optimization problem is formulated to maximize EE by jointly optimizing local sensing time, number of cooperative sensing secondary users(SU), transmission bandwidth and power. A combined optimization algorithm of bi-level optimization, Polyblock optimization and Dinkelbach's optimization is proposed to solve the proposed non-convex optimization problem effectively. | 2 | Utility function based fair data scheduling algorithm for OFDM wireless network显示文摘A system model is formulated as the maximization of a total utility function to achieve fair downlink data scheduling in multiuser orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) wireless networks. A dynamic subcarrier allocation algorithm (DSAA) is proposed, to optimize the system model. The subcarrier allocation decision is made by the proposed DSAA according to the maximum value of total utility function with respect to the queue mean waiting time. | 3 | Local electrical charac terization of t wo-dimensional mat erials with functional atomic force microscopy显示文摘Research about two-dimensional (2D) materials is growing exponentially across various scientific and engineering disciplines due to the wealth of unusual physical phenomena that occur when charge transport is confined to a plane. The applications of 2D materials are highly affected by the electrical properties of these mat erials, including curren t dist ribution, surface pot ential, dielectric response, conductivity, perm计tivity, and piezoelectric response. Hence, it is very crucial to characterize these properties at the nanoscale. The Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM)-based techniques are powerful tools that can simultaneously characterize morphology and electrical properties of 2D materials with high spatial resolution, thus being more and more extensively used in this research field. Here, the principles of these AFM techniques are reviewed in detail. | 6 | m6A-TSHub:Unveiling the Context-specific m^(6)A Methylation and m^(6)A-affecting Mutations in 23 Human Tissues显示文摘As the most pervasive epigenetic marker present on mRNAs and long non-coding RNAs(lncRNAs),N6-methyladenosine(m^(6)A)RNA methylation has been shown to participate in essential biological processes.Recent studies have revealed the distinct patterns of m^(6)A methylome across human tissues,and a major challenge remains in elucidating the tissue-specific presence and circuitry of m^(6)A methylation.We present here a comprehensive online platform,m^(6)A-TSHub,for unveiling the context-specific m^(6)A methylation and genetic mutations that potentially regulate m^(6)A epigenetic mark.m^(6)A-TSHub consists of four core components,including(1)m^(6)A-TSDB,a comprehensive database of 184,554 functionally annotated m^(6)A sites derived from 23 human tissues and 499,369 m^(6)A sites from 25 tumor conditions,respectively;(2)m^(6)A-TSFinder,a web server for high-accuracy prediction of m^(6)A methylation sites within a specific tissue from RNA sequences,which was constructed using multi-instance deep neural networks with gated attention;(3)m^(6)ATSVar,a web server for assessing the impact of genetic variants on tissue-specific m^(6)A RNA modifications;and(4)m^(6)A-CAVar,a database of 587,983 The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)cancer mutations(derived from 27 cancer types)that were predicted to affect m^(6)A modifications in the primary tissue of cancers.The database should make a useful resource for studying the m^(6)A methylome and the genetic factors of epitranscriptome disturbance in a specific tissue(or cancer type).m^(6)A-TSHub is accessible at www.xjtlu.edu.cn/biologicalsciences/m^(6)ats. | Bowen Song Daiyun Huang Yuxin Zhang Zhen Wei Jionglong Su João Pedro de Magalhães Daniel J.Rigden Jia Meng Kunqi Chen | 2023 | Genomics, Proteomics & Bioinformatics2023,21,4: | 1 |

| 12 | Distribution, modes of occurrence, and main factors influencing lead enrichment in Chinese coals显示文摘Lead is a potentially harmful element that has caused serious environmental pollution during its mining and use along with serious human health problems.This study assessed lead in Chinese coals based on published literature,with a particular focus on data reported since 2004.The analysis included 9447 individual samples from 103 coalfields or mines in 28 provinces in China.The arithmetic mean content of lead in the studied coals was 15.0μg/g.Considering the coal reserves,the weighted-average lead concentration in Chinese coals was calculated to be 19.6μg/g.Lead was significantly enriched in the coals from Henan Province and enriched in the coals from the Tibet Autonomous Region.The coals from Tibet–Western Yunnan and the southern areas of China had elevated lead concentrations.Sulfides are the primary hosts of lead in Chinese coals,although other hosts include silicates,organic matter,carbonates,and other minerals.Source rocks in the sediment-source region and marine environments may be the most significant factors contributing to lead enrichment in Chinese coals.Hydrothermal fluids and peat-forming plants also contribute to lead enrichment in some Chinese coals. | Kunqi Lin Wenhui Huang Robert BFinkelman Jing Chen Shuo Yi Xiaonan Cui Yuanzheng Wang | 2020 | International Journal of Coal Science & Technology2020,7,1: | 1 |

A distributed scheduling algorithm (DSA) for system model optimization is proposed that combines the randomly chosen subcarrier according to the channel condition of local subcarriers with link power control to limit interference caused by the reuse of subcarrier among links. For the global fairness improvement of algorithms, a global power control scheduling algorithm (GPCSA) based on the proposed DSA is presented and dynamically allocates global power according to difference between average carrier-noise-ratio of selected local links and system link protection ratio.
