| 1 | Configurable Floating-Point FFT Accelerator on FPGA Based Multiple-Rotation CORDIC显示文摘Fast Fourier transform(FFT) accelerator and Coordinate rotation digital computer(CORDIC) algorithm play important roles in signal processing. We propose a configurable floating-point FFT accelerator based on CORDIC rotation, in which twiddle direction prediction is presented to reduce hardware cost and twiddle angles are generated in real time to save memory. To finish CORDIC rotation efficiently, a novel approach in which segmentedparallel iteration and compress iteration based on CSA are presented and redundant CORDIC is used to reduce the latency of each iteration. To prove the efficiency of our FFT accelerator, four FFT accelerators are prototyped into a FPGA chip to perform a batch-FFT. Experimental results show that our structure, which is composed of four butterfly units and finishes FFT with the size ranging from 64 to8192 points, occupies 33230(3%) REGs and 143006(30%)LUTs. The clock frequency can reach 122 MHz. The resources of double-precision FFT is only about 2.5 times of single-precision while the theoretical value is 4. | 2 | TRDMT1 exhibited protective effects against LPS-induced inflammation in rats through TLR4-NF-κB/MAPK-TNF-αpathway显示文摘Background:Inflammation is a complex physiological and pathological process.Although many types of inflammation are well characterized,their physiological func-tions are largely unknown.tRNA aspartic acid methyltransferase 1(TRDMT1)has been implicated as a stress-related protein,but its intrinsic biological role is unclear.Methods:We constructed a Trdmt1 knockout rat and adopted the LPS-induced sepsis model.Survival curve,histopathological examination,expression of inflammatory fac-tors,and protein level of TLR4 pathway were analyzed.Results:Trdmt1 deletion had no obvious impact on development and growth.Trdmt1 de-letion slightly increased the mortality during aging.Our data showed that Trdmt1 strongly responded in LPS-treated rats,and Trdmt1 knockout rats were vulnerable to LPS treat-ment with declined survival rate.We also observed more aggravated tissue damage and more cumulative functional cell degeneration in LPS-treated knockout rats compared with control rats.Further studies showed upregulated TNF-αlevel in liver,spleen,lung,and serum tissues,which may be explained by enhanced p65 and p38 phosphorylation.Conclusions:Our data demonstrated that Trdmt1 plays a protective role in inflamma-tion by regulating the TLR4-NF-κB/MAPK-TNF-αpathway.This work provides useful information to understand the TRDMT1 function in inflammation. | Zhengguang Li Xiaolong Qi Xu Zhang Lei Yu Lijuan Gao Weining Kong Wei Chen Wei Dong Lijun Luo Dan Lu Lianfeng Zhang Yuanwu Ma | 2022 | Animal Models and Experimental Medicine2022,5,2: | 5 |

| 4 | Low-Latency SRT Division and Square Root Based on Remainder and Quotient Prediction显示文摘Sweeney, Robertson and Tocher(SRT) algorithm is a common and efficient way for division and square root(div/sqrt). We present to overlap two iterations into one cycle by predicting remainder and quotient.To reduce latency, redundant representation is used superiorly, as well as the use of a minimum redundancy factor.Division and square root can be integrated into one unit which causes a reduction in hardware cost. With 40 nm technology library, the area of our architecture after layout design, is 37795μm^2, the power is 81.19 m W and the delay is only 656 ps. The cycles for double-precision division and square root are 17 and 16, respectively.
