| 1 | A numerically stable coupled-mode formulation for acoustic propagation in range-dependent waveguides显示文摘In this paper,a stepwise coupled-mode model with the use of the direct global matrix approach is proposed.This method is capable of handling two-dimensional problems with either a point source in cylindrical geometry or a line source in plane geometry.With the use of the direct global matrix approach,this method is numerically stable.In addition,by introducing appropriately normalized range solutions,this model is free from the numerical overflow problem.Furthermore,we put forward source conditions appropriate for the line-source problem in plane geometry.As a result,this method is capable of addressing the scenario with a line source on top of a sloping bottom.Closed-form expressions for coupling matrices are derived and applied in this paper for handling problems with pressure-release boundaries and a homogeneous water column.The numerical simulations indicate that the proposed model is accurate,efficient,and numerically stable.Consequently,this model can serve as a benchmark model in range-dependent propagation modeling.Although this method is verified by an ideal wedge problem in this paper,the formulation applies to realistic problems as well. | LUO WenYu YANG ChunMei QIN JiXing ZHANG RenHe | 2012 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2012,55,4: | 13 |
| 2 | Robust secure transmission for multiuser MISO systems with probabilistic QoS constraints显示文摘This paper considers a unicast multiuser multiple-input single-output(MISO) downlink system overheard by multiple single-antenna eavesdroppers. The objective is to jointly design the beamforming vectors and the artificial noise(AN) covariance matrix with imperfect channel state information(CSI) at the transmitter,such that the total transmit power is minimized while satisfying probabilistic quality of service(Qo S) constraints at legitimate users and the eavesdroppers. Using Bernstein-type inequalities and the S-procedure, we recast the non-convex power minimization problem as two different convex semidefinite programs(SDPs) which can be solved using interior-point methods. | 4 | Transport Accessibility and Spatial Connections of Cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area显示文摘Based on geographic information system(GIS) spatial analysis technology, the spatial pattern of raster grid transport accessibility for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area was studied and the states of spatial connectedness were simulated using highway passenger transport, railway passenger transport, port passenger transport and aviation passenger transport data. The result shows that transport accessibility within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area costs ‘one hour’ and the spatial distribution of accessibility in the area presents clear ‘core-periphery’ spatial characteristics, with Guangzhou, Foshan, Shenzhen constituting the core. The transport accessibility of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao is high. Average accessibility of urban nodes as measured by travel time is 0.99 h, and the areas accessible within 1.42 h occupy 79.14% of the total area. Most of the areas with the lowest accessibility are found in the peripheral area, with the worst accessibility being 4.73 h. Compared with the west-side cities, the economically developed east-side cities of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay area have higher connectivity with roads, railways, ports, and aviation transport. Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao are closely linked. | 5 | A Tractable Approach to Analyzing the Physical-Layer Security in K-Tier Heterogeneous Cellular Networks显示文摘This study proposes a tractable approach to analyze the physical-layer security in the downlink of a multi-tier heterogeneous cellular network. This method is based on stochastic geometry, has low computational complexity, and uses the two-dimensional Poisson point process to model the locations of K-tier base stations and receivers, including those of legitimate users and eavesdroppers. Then, the achievable secrecy rates for an arbitrary user are determined and the upper and lower bounds of secrecy coverage probability derived on the condition that cross-tier interference is the main contributor to aggregate interference. | 11 | Learning to focus: cascaded feature matching network for few-shot image recognition显示文摘Generally, deep networks learn to recognize a category of objects by training on a large number of annotated images accurately. However, a meta-learning problem known as a low-shot image recognition task occurs when a few images with annotations are available for learning a recognition model for a single category. Consequently, the objects in testing/query and training/support image datasets are likely to vary in terms of size, location, style, and so on. In this paper, we propose a method, cascaded feature matching network(CFMN), to solve this problem. We train the meta-learner to learn a more fine-grained and adaptive deep distance metric using feature matching block, which aligns associated features together and naturally ignores non-discriminative features. By applying the proposed feature matching block in different layers of the network, multi-scale information among the compared images is incorporated into the final cascaded matching feature, which boosts the recognition performance and generalizes better by learning on relationships. Moreover, the experiments for few-shot learning(FSL) using two standard datasets:miniImageNet and Omniglot, confirm the effectiveness of our proposed method. | 13 | 全脑放疗同步或序贯替尼泊甙、顺铂治疗小细胞肺癌脑转移(英文)显示文摘Objective: The aim of the study was to compare efficacies and safeties of 2 different treatments of whole brain radiotherapy (WBRT) sequential or concomitant Vm26/DDP for small cell lung cancer (SCLC) patients with brain metastases. Methods: A total of 39 patients were randomly divided into sequential chemoradiotherapy regime (A group, 20 patients) and concomitant chemoradiotherapy regime (B group, 19 patients). The dose of WBRT was 36 Gy in 18–20 fractions, chemotherapy of Vm26/DDP regimen with teniposide 60 mg/m2 on d1 to d3 and cisplatin 20 mg/m2 on d1 to d5, repeating every 3 weeks. The response was evaluated after WBRT and 2 cycles of chemotherapy. Results: Total response rates of A and B groups were 70.0% and 78.9% respectively (P = 0.520). The median survival was 11 months in A group and 10 months in B group. Six, twelve and eighteen months cumulative survival rates of A and B groups were 75.0%, 42.5%, 26.2%, and 81.6%, 26.4%, 10.5%, respectively (χ2 = 0.383, P > 0.05). Response rate and the number of brain metastases were independent prognostic factors. Conclusion: Both sequential and concomitant chemoradiotherapy groups are effective, and the main toxicity with myelosuppression is tolerable after therapy. | 14 | Environmental microcystin exposure triggers the poor prognosis of prostate cancer: Evidence from case-control, animal, and in vitro studies显示文摘Microcystin-leucine-arginine(MC-LR)is positively linked with multiple cancers in humans.However,the association between MC-LR and the risk and prognosis of prostate cancer has not been conducted in epidemiological studies.No reported studies have linked MC-LR exposure to the poor prognosis of prostate cancer by conducting experimental studies.The content of MC-LR was detected in most of the aquatic food in wet markets and supermarkets in Nanjing and posed a health risk for consumers.MC-LR levels in both prostate cancer tissues and serum were significantly higher than controls.The adjusted odds ratio(OR)for prostate cancer risk by serum MC-LR was 1.75(95%CI:1.21-2.52)in the whole subjects,and a positive correlation between MC-LR and advanced tumor stage was observed.Survival curve analysis indicated patients with higher MC-LR levels in tissues exhibited poorer overall survival.Human,animal,and cell studies confirmed that MC-LR exposure increases the expression of estrogen receptor-α(ERα)and promotes epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT)in prostate cancer.Moreover,MC-LR-induced decreased E-cadherin levels,increased vimentin levels,and increased migratory and invasive capacities of prostate cancer cells were markedly suppressed upon ERαknockdown.MC-LR-induced xenograft tumor growth and lungmetastasis in BALB/c nude mice can be effectively alleviated with ERαknockdown.Our data demonstrated that MC-LR upregulated vimentin and downregulated E-cadherin through activating ERα,promoting migration and invasion of prostate cancer cells.Our findings highlight the role of MC-LR in prostate cancer,providing new perspectives to understand MC-LR-induced prostatic toxicity. | Chun Pan Haixiang Qin Minghao Yan Xuefeng Qiu Wenyue Gong Wenxin Luo Hongqian Guo Xiaodong Han | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,5: | 1 |

Given a complex univariate polynomial f(z) and a zero α, in this paper we explore the problem of computing a complex polynomial f(z) such that f(α) = 0 and the distance ∥f-f ∥ is minimal. Considering most of the existing works focus on either certain polynomial basis or certain vector norm, we propose a common computation framework based on both general polynomial basis and general vector norm, and summarize the computing process into a four-step algorithm. Further, to find the explicit expression of f(z), we focus on two specific norms which generalize the familiar lp-norm and mixed norm studied in the existing works, and then compute f(z) explicitly based on the proposed algorithm.
