1Identification of sea snake meat adulteration in meat products using PCR-RFLP of mitochondrial DNA显示文摘PCR-RFLP based technique for identification of sea snakes in Thai waters was achieved by developing species-specific markers.To distinguish between sea snake species,the PCR products of cytochrome b(Cyt b),12S and 16S rRNA were sequenced and cut with different restriction endonuclease,Alu I and Hinf I.Each enzyme generated different-sized fragments which specific to Cyt b of eight sea snake species.However,the identical pattern was found among Hydrophis group.This result could be resolved by using these enzymes 12S rRNA digestion.This technique was successfully applied to blood,shed skin,raw meat,cooked meat,sea snake-fish binary admixture,and sea snake-pork binary admixture.Hence,it could be applied for identification when sea snake meat adulteration in meat products and sold as meatballs to reduce production costs.Hopefully,this technique would improve sea snake species identification when morphological examination is no longer possible because the animals are already processed.This is very important to track when sea snake species are being hunted and also used to assess the conservation and management of the sea snakes in Thai waters,especially the Gulf of Thailand.Sunutcha Suntrarachun Lawan Chanhome Montri Sumontha 2018Food Science and Human Wellness2018,7,2:3
2Integration of data-intensive,machine learning and robotic experimental approaches for accelerated discovery of catalysts in renewable energy-related reactions显示文摘Technological advancements in recent decades have greatly transformed the field of material chemistry.Juxtaposing the accentuating energy demand with the pollution associated,urgent measures are required to ensure energy maximization,while reducing the extended experimental time cycle involved in energy production.In lieu of this,the prominence of catalysts in chemical reactions,particularly energy related reactions cannot be undermined,and thus it is critical to discover and design catalyst,towards the optimization of chemical processes and generation of sustainable energy.Most recently,artificial intelligence(AI)has been incorporated into several fields,particularly in advancing catalytic processes.The integration of intensive data set,machine learning models and robotics,provides a very powerful tool in modifying material synthesis and optimization by generating multifarious dataset amenable with machine learning techniques.The employment of robots automates the process of dataset and machine learning models integration in screening intermetallic surfaces of catalyst,with extreme accuracy and swiftness comparable to a number of human researchers.Although,the utilization of robots in catalyst discovery is still in its infancy,in this review we summarize current sway of artificial intelligence in catalyst discovery,briefly describe the application of databases,machine learning models and robots in this field,with emphasis on the consolidation of these monomeric units into a tripartite flow process.We point out current trends of machine learning and hybrid models of first principle calculations(DFT)for generating dataset,which is integrable into autonomous flow process of catalyst discovery.Also,we discuss catalyst discovery for renewable energy related reactions using this tripartite flow process with predetermined descriptors.Oyawale Adetunji Moses Wei Chen Mukhtar Lawan Adam Zhuo Wang Kaili Liu Junming Shao Zhengsheng Li Wentao Li Chensu Wang Haitao Zhao Cheng Heng Pang Zongyou Yin Xuefeng Yu 2021Materials Reports(Energy)2021,1,3:3

4Synthesis of a Novel Co-B/CTAB Catalyst via Solid-state-reaction at Room Temperature for Hydrolysis of Ammonia-borane显示文摘Cobalt-boride(Co-B)is emerging as one of the promising materials in the base-hydrolytic dehydrogena-tion of ammonia-borane(AB).In order to avoid the low specific area and poor catalytic capacity of Co-B catalyst caused by aggregation arising from the strong reducing property and rapid reaction condensation of sodium borohy-dride(NaBHa),novel cobalt boride/cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(Co-B/CTAB)catalyst was obtained via solid-state grinding at room temperature,and the catalyst was further characterized by XRD,SEM,XPS and BET.The hydrogen generation rate(HGR)was then determined by the hydrolysis reaction of AB.The SEM images indicate that a lot of irregular folds and curled edges are formed on the sample with a maximum surface area of 145.57 m2/g,thus possibly resulting in the high hydrogen production(HGR was 10.68 L.minlg),which may be attributed to CTAB that provide favorable large specific surface area and abundant porous structure.Additionally,catalyst will not be affected by solvants during solid-state reaction.As a diluent,the surfactant CTAB hindered the reaction rate of sodium borohydride reduction to cobalt boride and obtained the novel catalyst with a large specific surface area.HU Haibin LONG Bo JIANG Yifan SUN Shichang Ibrahim LAWAN ZHOU Weiming- ZHANG Mingxin WANG Liwei ZHANG Fan YUAN Zhanhui 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,6:2
