1Type I IFN augments IL-27-dependent TRIM25 expression to inhibit HBV replication显示文摘Hepatitis B virus(HBV)can cause chronic hepatitis B,which may lead to cirrhosis and liver cancer.Type I interferon(IFN)is an approved drug for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B.However,the fundamental mechanisms of antiviral action by type I IFN and the downstream signaling pathway are unclear.TRIM25 is an IFN-stimulated gene(ISG)that has an important role in RIG-I ubiquitination and activation.Whether TRIM25 is induced in liver cells by type I IFN to mediate anti-HBV function remains unclear.Here we report that interleukin-27(IL-27)has a critical role in IFN-induced TRIM25 upregulation.TRIM25 induction requires both STAT1 and STAT3.In TRIM25 knockout HepG2 cells,type I IFN production was consistently attenuated and HBV replication was increased,whereas overexpression of TRIM25 in HepG2 cells resulted in elevated IFN production and reduced HBV replication.More interestingly,we found that TRIM25 expression was downregulated in HBV patients and the addition of serum samples from HBV patients could inhibit TRIM25 expression in HepG2 cells,suggesting that HBV might have involved a mechanism to inhibit antiviral ISG expression and induce IFN resistance.Collectively,our results demonstrate that type I IFN-induced TRIM25 is an important factor in inhibiting HBV replication,and the IFN-IL-27-TRIM25 axis may represent a new target for treating HBV infection.Guangyun Tan Qingfei Xiao Hongxiao Song Feng Ma Fengchao Xu Di Peng Na Li Xiaosong Wang Junqi Niu Pujun Gao F Xiao-Feng Qin Genhong Cheng 2018Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,3:13

3Catalytic performance of hierarchical H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 for methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether显示文摘Micro-mesoporous composite molecular sieves H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 were prepared by the hydrothermal technique with alkali-treated H-ZSM-5zeolite as the source and characterized by scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,energy dispersive spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction,N2 adsorption-desorption measurement and NH3 temperature-programmed desorption.The catalytic performances for the methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether over H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 were evaluated.Among these catalysts,H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 prepared with NaOH dosage (nNa/nSi) varying from 0.4 to 0.47 presented excellent catalytic activity with more than 80%methanol conversion and 100%dimethyl ether selectivity in a wide temperature range of 170—300℃,and H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 prepared with nNa/nSi=0.47 showed constant methanol conversion of about 88.7%,100% dimethyl ether selectivity and excellent lifetime at 220℃.The excellent catalytic performances were due to the highly active and uniform acidic sites and the hierarchical porosity in the micro-mesoporous composite molecular sieves.The catalytic mechanism of H-ZSM-5/MCM-41 for the methanol dehydration to dimethyl ether process was also discussed.Yu Sang Hongxiao Liu Shichao He Hansheng Li Qingze Jiao Qin Wu Kening Sun 2013Journal of Energy Chemistry2013,22,5:7
4Substitute of Expensive Pt with Improved Electrocatalytic Performance and Higher Resistance to CO Poisoning for Methanol Oxidation: the Case of Synergistic Pt-Co_3O_4 Nanocomposite显示文摘In this paper, Pt-Co_3O_4 nanocomposite was synthesized by a sol gel process combined with electrodeposition method. Its electrocatalytic activity towards methanol oxidation was investigated at room temperature using cyclic voltammetry(CV), electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS) and current density time curve. It is found that the resultant Pt-Co_3O_4 catalysts with minute amount of Pt exhibite attractive electrocatalytic activity for methanol oxidation reaction(MOR) but with a high resistance CO poisoning due to the synergistic effects from Pt and Co_3O_4. 5Type III interferon-induced CBFβinhibits HBV replication by hijacking HBx显示文摘Hepatitis B virus(HBV)and its associated chronic infection remain serious health threats worldwide.However,there is still no impactful approach for clinical treatment of hepatitis B patients.Therefore,developing a better understanding of the interactions between HBV and its host is particularly important.HBV infection has been reported to induce type-III but not type-I or type-II interferon(IFN).In this study,we identified CBFβ,an HIV enhancer,as an HBV restriction factor that is specifically induced by type-III IFN in the early stages of HBV infection.Type-III IFN-induced IL-10 played an important role in the production of CBFβ.Interestingly,the interaction between CBFβ-and HBV-encoded regulatory protein X(HBx)enhanced the stability of CBFβ,but notably blocked HBx-mediated promotion of HBV replication.CBFβexpression was lower in HBV patients than in healthy persons,and the addition of serum from HBV patients inhibited CBFβexpression in HepG2 cells.On the contrary,HBV via HBsAg inhibited type-III IFN-induced CBFβexpression and decreased the anti-HBV activity of type-III IFN,suggesting that HBV inhibits antiviral interferon-stimulated gene(ISG)expression and induces IFN resistance.Collectively,our results demonstrate that type-III IFN-triggered and IL-10-induced CBFβare crucial factors for inhibiting HBV replication,and the HBx–CBFβ–HBsAg axis reveals a new molecular mechanism of interaction between HBV and its hosts.Fengchao Xu Hongxiao Song Qingfei Xiao Na Li Hong Zhang Genhong Cheng Guangyun Tan 2019Cellular & Molecular Immunology2019,16,4:3

7Dechlorination of 2,4-dichlorophenol by nickel nanoparticles under the acidic conditions显示文摘Metal nanoparticles are effective for remediation of contamination with a range of compounds including chlorinated organics.However,the sorption process of the passivation oxide layers on the metal nanoparticle surfaces may result in incomplete degradation of contaminants.This phenomenon can be prevented by an acidic washing procedure or reaction in an acidic medium.In this paper,nickel nanoparticles manufactured via the carbonyl powder process were analyzed using scanning electron microscopy,transmission electron microscopy,X-ray diffraction and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy.The sorption and degradation of 2,4-dichlorophenol (2,4-DCP) by nickel nanoparticles under acidic conditions was then investigated.Transmission electron microscopy and XRD results showed that the nickel nanoparticles range in size from 10 to 20 nm,and a thin passivation layer of NiO is present on the surface.This oxide layer can be removed by pretreatment washing with acidic solutions.It was indicated that dechlorination was the key reaction pathway for degradation of 2,4-DCP by nickel nanoparticles under acidic conditions.The main degradation products were 4-Chlorophenol,2-Chlorophenol,and Phenol,and among these,Phenol was dominant.The acidic medium promoted degradation by providing an appropriate pH,and H+ may be involved in the reaction.Dechlorination of 2,4-DCP by nickel nanoparticles under the acidic condition follows the second order kinetic model,and the rate constants at 298,306,316 K are 0.02,0.2 and 0.3 (g L h)-1,respectively.FENG Li GE XiaoPeng LI Yi WANG DongSheng TANG HongXiao 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,21:1
8Precipitates in an isothermally aged Fe-18Cr-12Mn-0.04C-0.48N high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel显示文摘Vertical section of Fe-18Cr-12Mn-0.04C-N system phase diagram varying with nitrogen content at 1×105 Pa was calculated using Thermo-Calc software and thermodynamic database.The morphology and crystallography information of precipitates in Fe-18Cr-12Mn-0.04C-0.48N high-nitrogen austenitic stainless steel during isothermal aging at 800 ℃ after austenization was investigated using optical microscopy(OM),and transmission electron microscopy(TEM) with energy distribution spectrum(EDS).The experimental results show that three precipitates,(Cr,Fe,Mn)2(N,C),(Cr,Fe,Mn)23(C,N)6 and σ phase exist in this steel,which is consistent with the thermodynamic calculation,indicating that thermodynamic calculation can provide instructions for alloy composition design,heat treatment and prediction of precipitation sequence in Fe-18Cr-12Mn-0.04C-N system.SHI Feng,WANG Lijun,CUI Wenfang,REN Yuping,LI Hongxiao,and LIU Chunming School of Materials & Metallurgy,Northeastern University,Shenyang 110004,China 2007Rare Metals2007,26,S1:1
9Analytical optimization for field emission of carbon nanotube array显示文摘To optimize field emission (FE) property of carbon nanotube (CNT) array on a planar cathode surface, the Fowler-Nordheim formula has been used to discuss the maximum of the emission current density with the floating sphere model in this paper. The emission current density is dominating as the analytical Fowler-Nordheim function of the intertube distance, and the maximum of the emission current density is deduced and discussed. The results indicate that the intertube distance in CNT array critically affects the field enhancement factor and the emission current density, whose maximum occurs at the intertube distance approximating a tenth of the tube height. 13Effect of Cu on the Spinodal Decomposition of AlZn Alloy with Symmetrical Composition显示文摘The effect of Cu addition on the spinodal decomposition of the Al-Zn alloy with symmetrical compositions has beeninvestigated by X-ray diffraction analysis. It is found that the single fcc phase can be obtained in the AlZn alloywith the addition of 2 at. pct Cu after solution treatment at 400°C and water quenching to room temperature.The modulation structure occurs in two types of alloys aged at room temperature for 30 min. The spinodal processremarkably slows down above or at the three phase equilibrium temperature, particularly at room temperature dueto the addition of 2 at. pct Cu. 14Phase equilibria in the Mg-rich corner of the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C显示文摘The phase equilibria in the Mg-rich corner of the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C have been investigated by scanning electron microscopy, X-ray diffraction, and electron probe microanalysis. It has been shown that the linear compound (Mg,Zn)17La2 existed in the Mg-Zn-La system at 350°C. The linear compound (so-called T phase) was with the C-centred orthorhombic crystal structure induced by the solution of significant quantities of the third element. 18Thermodynamic prediction of the composition of Fe-based amorphous alloys显示文摘The liquidus univariant lines of the Fe-Nb-B ternary system have been thermodynamically calculated by means of CALPHAD method and Fe-based thermodynamic data. It is found that there are two eutectic reactions in the Fe-rich corner,that is,(1) L(Fe-3Nb-15B) →α+γ+ M2B (1430 K),and (2) L(Fe-10Nb-27B) → FeB + Lc14 + M2B (1575 K). Moreover,the eutectic points are very close to the compositions with high glass forming ability determined experimentally. 19A microRNA-21-responsive doxorubicin-releasing sticky-flare for synergistic anticancer with silencing of microRNA and chemotherapy显示文摘A sticky-flare gold nanoparticle probe(AuNP-probe)is designed by the combination of locked nucleic acid functionalized silencing of microRNA technology for intracellular microRNA-21(miRNA-21)sensitively detecting,fluorescence imaging,localizing and silencing.The limit of detection is as low as 0.01 n M.Overexpressed miRNA-21 in cancer cells serves as endogenous drug release stimuli to trigger the release of probe-loaded doxorubicin(Dox),which soon translocates into cell nuclei.This multifunctional Dox-loaded AuNP-probe(Dox-AuNP-probe)could induce cancer cell apoptosis effectively through the synergistic effect of gene silencing and chemotherapy.This Dox-AuNP-probe exhibits superior drug potency compared to free Dox molecules,with a cell inhibition rate of 57%(but only 20%for Dox)to wild-type cancer cells and 30%(but 0%for Dox)to drug-resistent cancer cells after 72 h,and this strategy not only has the function of sensing,but also can effectively bypass drug resistance.In MCF-7 xenograft tumor-bearing mice,the Dox-AuNP-probes show greater inhibition for tumor tissues than miRNA-21 targeted AuNP-probes(Targeting-AuNP-probe)or free Dox molecules.Therefore,the Dox-AuNP-probe represents a promising nanotheranostic platform for future applications in cancer molecular imaging and therapy,especially providing a potential strategy to treat resistant cancers.Min Hong Hongxiao Sun Qiangqiang Yang Shuang Cheng Shuxian Yu Shuhua Fan Chuan Li Cheng Cui Weihong Tan 2021Science China Chemistry2021,64,6:0
