| 3 | NDRG4 prevents cerebral ischemia/reperfusion injury by inhibiting neuronal apoptosis显示文摘Cerebral ischemia is a major cause of mortality and long-term morbidity worldwide.NDRG4 has been shown to protect against cerebral ischemia,although the underlying mechanisms remain largely unclear.Here we found that NDRG4 expression was decreased in the brain tissues of ischemia/reperfusion(IR)rats,indicating increased apoptosis rates among cerebral cells.NDRG4 restoration via an adenovirus significantly attenuated cerebral infarct sizes and impairments in IR rats.Furthermore,adenovirus-mediated NDRG4 inhibited cell apoptosis in the brains of IR rats and regulated the expression of Bcl-2,Bax,caspase-3,and c-Fos.Moreover,we found that NDRG4 increased expression of BDNF,which is strongly related to cerebral ischemia and cellular apoptosis.Altogether,our findings demonstrate that NDRG4 protects cerebral IR injury by inhibiting cell apoptosis and regulates cerebral cell apoptosis by increasing BDNF expression.These results suggest that NDRG4 may be a therapeutic target for IR treatment. | Lan Wen Lei Liu Linyan Tong Jinfang Li Keming Zhang Qinbin Zhang Changqing Li | 2019 | Genes & Diseases2019,6,4: | 6 |

| 6 | Bacillus licheniformis PF9 improves barrier function and alleviates inflammatory responses against enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli F4 infection in the porcine intestinal epithelial cells显示文摘Background:Enterotoxigenic Escherichia coli(ETEC)F4 commonly colonizes the small intestine and releases enterotoxins that impair the intestinal barrier function and trigger inflammatory responses.Although Bacillus licheniformis(B.licheniformis)has been reported to enhance intestinal health,it remains to be seen whether there is a functional role of B.licheniformis in intestinal inflammatory response in intestinal porcine epithelial cell line(IPEC-J2)when stimulated with ETEC F4.Methods:In the present study,the effects of B.licheniformis PF9 on the release of pro-inflammation cytokines,cell integrity and nuclear factor-κB(NF-κB)activation were evaluated in ETEC F4-induced IPEC-J2 cells.Results:B.licheniformis PF9 treatment was capable of remarkably attenuating the expression levels of inflammation cytokines tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin(IL)-8,and IL-6 during ETEC F4 infection.Furthermore,the gene expression of Toll-like receptor 4(TLR4)-mediated upstream related genes of NF-κB signaling pathway has been significantly inhibited.These changes were accompanied by significantly decreased phosphorylation of p65 NF-κB during ETEC F4 infection with B.licheniformis PF9 treatment.The immunofluorescence and western blotting analysis revealed that B.licheniformis PF9 increased the expression levels of zona occludens 1(ZO-1)and occludin(OCLN)in ETEC F4-infected IPEC-J2 cells.Meanwhile,the B.licheniformis PF9 could alleviate the injury of epithelial barrier function assessed by the trans-epithelial electrical resistance(TEER)and cell permeability assay.Interestingly,B.licheniformis PF9 protect IPEC-J2 cells against ETEC F4 infection by decreasing the gene expressions of virulence-related factors(including luxS,estA,estB,and elt)in ETEC F4.Conclusions:Collectively,our results suggest that B.licheniformis PF9 might reduce inflammation-related cytokines through blocking the NF-κB signaling pathways.Besides,B.licheniformis PF9 displayed a significant role in the enhancement of IPEC-J2 cell integrity. | Qiao Li Linyan Li Yanhong Chen Changning Yu Paula Azevedo Joshua Gong Chengbo Yang | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 4 |

| 20 | Design and performance of the LLRF control system for CSNS linac显示文摘Objective The China Spallation Neutron Source(CSNS)linac is designed with beam energy of 80 MeV and a peak current of 15 mA in the first phase.It consists of RFQ,two bunchers of medium-energy beam transmission line,four DTL tanks and one debuncher of linac-to-ring beam transmission line.Correspondingly,eight online RF power sources are used to power these accelerators.In order to stabilize the amplitude,phase and resonant frequency of the RF accelerating field,and minimize beam loss,we have established digital low-level RF(LLRF)control system.Methods The LLRF system includes RF reference line,analog module(AM),clock distribution module,digital control module(DCM),high-power protection module,timing and RF interlock module and so on.The DCM is mainly responsible for the stability of the RF field amplitude and phase,and RF interlock module can quickly cut off the RF drive in case of arc in the RF transmission system,VSWR over threshold or cavity vacuum fault and so on.Result During beam commissioning,all of eight online units of LLRF control system were operating stably and reliably.The amplitude and phase variations of the linac fields have been achieved about±0.4%and±0.15°with 10-mA beam loading,much better than the design requirements of±1%in amplitude and±1°in phase.Conclusion With the help of this system,we achieved stable operation under different beam loads.Also,many important progresses have been achieved in the LLRF control system for amore convenient operation and a higher stability performance.This article describes the design and implementation of the LLRF for CSNS linac. | Linyan Rong Zhencheng Mu Jian Li Zhexin Xie Wenzhong Zhou Bo Wang Maliang Wan Meifei Liu Xinan Xu | 2020 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2020,4,2: | 1 |
