| 1 | The origin and evolution of Y6 structure显示文摘During last several years, electron acceptors for organic sol-ar cells(OSCs)have experienced three major innovations. The first invention was a fused-ring electron acceptor(FREA),ITIC,reported by Zhan et al.in 2015,which consists of an in-dacenodithienothiophene(IDTT)donor core and two 3-dicy-anomethylene-1-indanone(IC)as the end-groups[1].ITIC cells exhibited comparable performance to PC61BM cells, and in-spired the development of hundreds nonfullerene acceptors(NFAs).The second breakthrough is the 14.08%power con-version efficiency(PCE)delivered by a low-bandgap non-fullerene acceptor COi 8DFIC with strong NIR absorption, invented by Ding et al.[2,3].The third star acceptor is Y6,developed by Zou et al.in 2019[4].Y6 and its derivatives(Y-series NFAs)are very promising[5,6].Ding et al.developed polymer donor D18 and its outstanding derivatives[7−10],and the D18:Y6 cells gave a PCE of 18.22%[7],which was the first time for OSCs to deliver PCEs over 18%. | Jiamin Cao Lifei Yi Liming Ding | 2022 | Journal of Semiconductors2022,43,3: | 3 |
| 2 | Covalently tethering disulfonic acid moieties onto polyoxometalate boosts acid strength and catalytic performance for hydroxyalkylation/alkylation reaction显示文摘Solid acid catalysts are widely used in the production of various high-value added and industrially important chemicals.Although the use of organosilicon compounds to modify the vacancy site has been extensively studied, the covalent tethering-SO_(3)H functionalized organosilicon modified polyoxometalates(POMs)has been rarely reported. In this work, two catalysts(TBA_(4)[SiW_(11)O_(39)(O(SiC_(3)H_(6)SO_(3)H)_(2))](compound 2)and TBA_(4)[SiW_(11)O_(39)(O(SiC_(8)H_(8)SO_(3)H)_(2))](compound 3))were synthesized successfully through covalently grafting different sulfonic acid(-SO_(3)H)groups onto[SiW_(11)O_(39)]^(8−)cluster,respectively.Compound 2 was achieved by surface grafting and in situ oxidation(3-mercaptopropyl)-trimethoxysilane,while compound 3 was achieved by surface grafting of 2-(4-chlorosulfonylphenyl)ethyltrimethoxysilane.Strong Brønsted acid strength of compounds 2 and 3 can be demonstrated by different methods including potentiometric titration, pyridine adsorption studies, and the ^(31)P trimethylphosphine oxides(TMPO)nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR).The systematic investigation of the relationship among POM structures, acid strength, and electron density was carried out based on density functional theory(DFT)calculation and experimental results, which revealed that covalent modification of compounds 2 and 3 decreased the electron density of the O-H bond, and promoted the release of H^(+).When applied in hydroxyalkylation/alkylation(HAA)reaction of 2-methylfuran(2-MF)with cyclohexanone, compound 2 exhibited better catalytic performance with conversion of ~93%,monocyclic fuel precursors(1a)yield of 79.9% and selectivity of 85.7% than compound 3,which can be attributed to strong Brønsted acid and the intramolecular hydrogen-bonding interactions between the neighboring -SO_(3)H moieties in compound 2.Finally,compound 2 also showed excellent catalytic activity in the HAA reaction of 2-MF with several different aldehydes and ketones(e.g.,furfuraldehyde,5-methylfurfuraldehyde,acetone,butyraldehyde and 4-methoxybenzaldehyde).This result opens a new pathway for design and fabrication of novel solid acid catalysts. | Lifei Lian Yubing Liu Xianfeng Yi Hanbin Hu Xiang Chen Hongqiang Li Wei Chen Anming Zheng Yu-Fei Song | 2022 | Science China Chemistry2022,65,4: | 1 |
| 3 | Determination of laser entrance hole size for ignition-scale octahedral spherical hohlraums显示文摘A recently proposed octahedral spherical hohlraum with six laser entrance holes(LEHs)is an attractive concept for an upgraded laser facility aiming at a predictable and reproducible fusion gain with a simple target design. However, with the laser energies available at present,LEH size can be a critical issue.Owing to the uncertainties in simulation results, the LEH size should be determined on the basis of experimental evidence. However, determination of LEH size of an ignition target at a small-scale laser facility poses difficulties. In this paper,we propose to use the prepulse of an ignition pulse to determine the LEH size for ignition-scale hohlraums via LEH closure behavior, and we present convincing evidence from multiple diagnostics at the SGIII facility with ignition-scale hohlraum, laser prepulse, and laser beam size. The LEH closure observed in our experiment is in agreement with data from the National Ignition Facility. The total LEH area of the octahedral hohlraum is found to be very close to that of a cylindrical hohlraum, thus successfully demonstrating the feasibility of the octahedral hohlraum in terms of laser energy, which is crucially important for sizing an ignition-scale octahedrally configured laser system. This work provides a novel way to determine the LEH size of an ignition target at a small-scale laser facility, and it can be applied to other hohlraum configurations for the indirect drive approach. | Yao-Hua Chen Zhichao Li Hui Cao Kaiqiang Pan Sanwei Li Xufei Xie Bo Deng Qiangqiang Wang Zhurong Cao Lifei Hou Xingsen Che Pin Yang Yingjie Li Xiaoan He Tao Xu Yonggang Liu Yulong Li Xiangming Liu Haijun Zhang Wei Zhang Baibin Jiang Jun Xie Wei Zhou Xiaoxia Huang Wen Yi Huo Guoli Ren Kai Li Xudeng Hang Shu Li Chuanlei Zhai Jie Liu Shiyang Zou Yongkun Ding Ke Lan | 2022 | Matter and Radiation at Extremes2022,7,6: | 0 |
